Crave Fishbar is a vibrant, convivial restaurant in Midtown Manhattan serving an inspired seafood menu from chef Todd Mitgang. "Crave is one of those places I could go to again and again. The food and the wine is wonderful and original. There are often healthy choices but the emphasis is on wonderful seafood well conceived and perfectly executed. The Wines are worth exploring and the interiors are upscale in a totally welcoming way. Staff is helpful and pleasant. I will go back often!"

"I did not know this was only one block from my apartment. A true neighborhood gem in an area that I don't think has many. We ate at the bar, the food and service was excellent and I will be back there in a few days. A relaxed atmosphere with great food."

"as a " gluten free", "dairy free", pescatarian" i was welcomed with open arms and enjoyed what i can only say was one of the best meals i have ever had!!! the restrictions i set forth were met with a "no problem" attitude and both the service and taste were beyond outstanding! upon leaving i was fortunate to meet the owner of this lovely spot and re-iterated how much i loved dining at his casual but elegant establishment. it is now my go to restaurant for exquisite fish magnificently prepared!!!"

"We are so lucky to have such a wonderful restaurant in our neighborhood. The food is sooo good. The flavor combinations are so interesting. The burrata was probably my favorite dish, but not too far behind were the scallops on sweet potato. And it never hurts to end a meal with a warm chocolate chip cookie and ice cream. the drinks are just as great. And the staff is very friendly and helpful. Overall a great dining experience."

"Maybe Thursday is a very crowded dining out evening but the noise level almost made me leave immediately. An upstairs table was suggested where it was just about bearable. the food was outstanding and the service was very good. I will try again, perhaps on a Monday night to see if the noise level is acceptable. If I have to scream to my dining partner, not only is it detrimental to the ears but it takes the fun out of an otherwise good dining experience."

"The food was outstanding. Being an fish-fanatic, I didn't need much convincing to eat at CRAVE. My girlfriend had the John Dory whilst I played safe with the Scottish Salmon and it was all unbelievably delicious. The beluga lentils and black garlic puree complemented the Salmon perfectly! Needless to say our plates didn't need much cleaning after we were through. The lemon tart was the perfect end to a sumptuous seafood dining experience. Kudos to our hostess too for the prompt service! The ambiance was perfect as well."

"Delicious meal! I had the trout which is a new addition to the menu and it was just wonderful. For an appetizer we had the spicy scallops - not too spicy, great flavors! Hostess was especially accommodating taking our coats and getting us a drink for the bar as we waited for our table. An especially nice personal touch."
