"I brought a friend/ business associate who'd never been to a Ruth's Chris before. He picked the wine and we had some back-and-forth with the manager on that because the 2005 was out. The manager was very accomodating and gave us samples of a couple others to try. The T bone was out of this world good; but then I knew it would be. It was a good evining out."

"Out of all the resturants I've taken my mother to over the past 20 years, this experience, by far, was the best. We were given a $25 gift certificate to return for another meal, and a beautiful rose upon leaving. I've dined at many, many resturants for mothers day and I've never been offered so much as a spoonful of ice cream. I'm definately returning next year. The menu was great and the food was excellent. My mother was very pleased (and that's hard to do) Loved it!"

"A Rose by any name... Ruth's Chris has an elegant look a high quality of service and the food smells and taste excellent. I jave never had a concern that my medium well steak would be anything short of medium and well. The smell of the kitchem or nearby tables makes it very difficult to order as everything I smelled excited my pallette.
My wife and daughter were treated as queens which where the true beauty of Ruth's can be seen. The waiters and waitress are awesome. Thsnks for making Mother's Day special for me. I needed but one Rose to make m happy an you provided."

"I took my bf here for an appreciation dinner. The atmosphere was romantic, quiet, and intimant.. Our server as well as the manager were attentive. The only things I didnt like was the location of our table and that when my bf ordered his steak the server questioned him about his preference of preparedness. Other than that we had a beautiful night"

"Food quality was exceptional, as usual. However, the service and attention to the customer seems to be deteriorating slowly. We come here regularly, and have noticed an increased density of table placement, an abundant amount of support staff and a decreased amount of knowledgeable waiters / waitresses - all while prices have gone up steadily. I ordered one main dish, asparagus as side and a glass of wine. It took close to one hour for my meal to arrive."

"Went for Valentines Day. What a mistake! We had a reservation, which was good, since the place was packed to the gills. Our waiter was completely overwhelmed. We had to ask several times for water, then he brought the wrong wine. It took an hour to get our salads, and our entree another 45 minutes. One couple at a nearby table never got their salads, even though it was part of the prix fix. Then when the check came, we were charged for the pricier wine which the waiter mistakenly brought me, and which I sent back. When I pointed this out, he argued with me over the price. Not a good thing to do at Ruths Chris. He was wrong, but no apologies for anything. We used to LOVE Ruths Chris, but we won't be going back to this one!"

"This was a Valentine's Day dinner- not a good idea. The crowds were large and there were significant seating delays. We sat in a section that is normally used for special events. Service was not as good as usual. The servers were friendly but harried. There was a special (limited) menu which is okay but soome of the prices were increased by as much as 50 percent. The featured martini was watery and the gumbo was tasteless. This is usually an excellent place to dine, but I would suggest avoiding it for special days eg., Valentine's day, mother's day, etc. My wife and I considered staying home with an excellent bottle of champagne and some pate, crackers and cheeses. We should have."

"I would have given the overall rating as Excellent but we did have to wait approximately 25 minutes for our table.....despite having reservations. My husband and I were running a little late and weren't sure if they would honor our reservations. So, on one hand we were glad to be able to still ahve dinner. However, they were running so far behind that we still had a wait for our table.
We have been to that same location many times in the past, so our overall experience was very good. The food was great. Due to the volume of the patrons (we assume), it took a long time for us to get our food. However, we will definitely go back."

"I should preface this by saying I have been to Ruth Chris dozens of times, including this location, but this past time on Valentine's Day was such a disappointment. We waited over 30 minutes for our reservation, our appetizers were served cold, and the service was abhorrent."

"Our server was very nice and attentive but our filets were both way over cooked and as a result pretty much ruined the meal.
It was Valentines Day and we were told they were expecting 800 reservations so we didn't want to cause them any delays. I have gone to this chain many, many times at different locations and this was the first bad meal I've ever had so didn't send my meal back. In retrospect I should have."

"I hosted this dinner with a key client for our business. I ordered a Ribeye Steak, medium rare; he ordered a T-Bone, medium. I received a Ribeye steak cooked medium well; he received a T-Bone cooked medium rare. My expectation that a restaurant such as Ruth's Chris that prides itself on its beef cuisine would get orders like this correct. The server did offer to bring replacement steaks which we declined. The key was providing feedback so that they can adjust their service."

"This was our first time there, to celebrate my fiance's birthday. Really enjoyed the meal. The staff was amazing. I believe our waitress name was Amanda, she gave us the history of Ruth Chris, very nice and informative. A1 job....thumbs up!"

"We were very disappointed in the service! We had a 7:00 reservation. We were seated immediately but then waited for a server for 15 minutes. Drinks were slow. Specials were ever mentioned. (We heard them at the table next to us after we had ordered.) We had 3 children ages 10-17 with us. Dinner did not arrive until after 8:30. That is way too long! We even mentioned as we placed our orders that the kids were starving. We are not sure when our order was put in. When we asked for refills of bread and drinks they took 20 minutes in between. VERY slow. And no apologies ever for forgetting things when we asked and never got them. We had eaten there in the past and it was great. We will not go back nor ever recommend."

"Immediatley after being seated I asked the server if the special, "restaurant week" menu was still being offerred. He said no. My wife and I then ordered off the regular menu.
As we were finishing dinner much to my surprise the party at the table next to us asked their server the same question-and they were told yes and presented with the restaurant week menu. My wife and I would have certainly ordered off of this menu, had it been offerred, saving $30. Our server at the end of dinner who was different from the one who told us the special menu was not officially available, but would be provided to those who asked for it. I asked for it and was told no. This is no way to be treated by a place where entrees cost over $50. We will not be back"

"From the Moment you walk in the door you feel welcome and special. My group was for 7 and they gave us the special "room" just for us, as it was for a special occasion.........My Retirement from Chimes DC. Winston, who has made me and collegues in the past dinning experiences feel special, treated us like Family. He was warm and freindly with his suggestions, and knowledgeable about the entire menu. He was assisted by true ladies and gentlemen in serving.
I chose Ruth's Criss because it is the BEST in Baltimore, bar none."

"I've dined at Ruth Chris' on several occasions, usually during Restraurant Week. Their menus for past Restaurant Week's have always included an accompainment with the entree order. I naturally assumed that would be the case this time but, to my surprise, found out that I would have to pay an extra price for the mashed potatoes that I wanted to accompany the petite filet steak. In addition, it certainly appeared as if the steak was smaller than it had been in years past. The taste of the food was still great along with the ambiance. I was just disappointed that, in an obvious cost cutting measure, that the restraurant could not have been more considerate of the consumer since they do brisk business during Restraurant Week."

"Very disappointing. While offering a 3-course dinner for restaurant week, each of the courses was not enough to eat. One main course, a steak, was served with nothing else on the plate! This might be normal for a steak house but it is not for a restaurant that offers a complete 3-course dinner. However, the little bit of food that was served for each course was good. Recommended for millionaires or persons on an unlimited expense account."
