Ki's Restaurant
We serve breakfast, lunch and dinner in a casual, ocean view atmosphere. Ki's is unique in that breakfast and lunch is very casual, counter service and seat-yourself. We up the ante at dinner with full service dining upstairs and a more specialized menu. We research all the products we order and when in season, we try to have as many local and/or organic ingredients as possible. Our dishes are created with flavor and wholesomeness in mind. We believe good health comes from eating real and whole food.

"Great views, good food, excellent service, reasonable prices. Only problem was having to walk up 2 steep flights of stairs if you're handicapped. There is a very long ramp available."

"We felt like all was chaotic; and learned that someone important had been in an accident and not come to work and that other people were moved into serving. Too long waiting to give order and to be served. Wine came after the meal, instead of with it."

"I cannot compliment this restaurant enough! It was my daughter's 21st birthday and the service was top notch from the moment we walked in. There is a fabulous vegan menu as well as regular menu and the food was amazing!!!
Definitely worth a try."

"We were able to grab a drink and an appetizer from the Happy Hour menu before it ended. $2.00 spring rolls and $4.50 potato skins are hard to beat. Wine and beer selection is great. Recommend you order a wine flight. For about $10 you can get 3 very large pours of any selection of wines off their menu. We had to split the flight because it was so much wine. We both ordered the specials for the night. Hazelnut crusted sea bass over parmesan mashed potatoes. So good! The prawns wrapped in proscuttio over crispy polenta cakes had this amazing mushroom ragu that was delicious. We had a wonderful table overlooking the ocean and a great waitress who made the experience even better. A great meal, view & value at a casual & friendly spot."

"Sunset at Ki's with Robin, Billy and Whitney singing and having fun! I had the all veggie tacos -- great! A nice view of the beach and parking is also as good as the service! Plentiful and wider spaces for big cars. Highly recommend. Staff are amazing."

"Was there on a Sunday night with only a few people in the restaraunt. Waited over 30 minutes between our salad and entree. When the entree finally arrived, they got our order wrong. The server was great. Problem seemed to be in the kitchen."

"We were very pleased with our overall experience. Our waitress was friendly and helpful. We loved the pear salad they we shared. Our entrées the bacon wrapped shrimp and citrus swordfish were fabulous. We shared the butterscotch bread pudding. It tasted like it just came out of the oven. The entertainment was very enjoyable. Will return and recommend. The noise level because of a party of 8 of very loud inconsiderate diners. Not the fault of Kis."

"Good food, great view. Lots of vegetarian options (I recommend the sweet potato tacos). We have been here before and had great service, but a few nights ago it was just awful. Waiter rarely checked in. Had to flag down the hostess and other waiters to get drinks and bread. It was not even busy, just felt like we were ignored . We like to take out of town guests there but I'm not sure if we will return after that last experience. Bummer."

"I came to Ki's for my birthday dinner because I love the miso salmon there, and the rest of the menu is great. Wine by the bottle was half-off (we went on Tuesday) so it was very affordable. The service was very good. The table was ready ahead of time and the staff told me Happy Birthday several times. They even gave me a slice of chocolate cake with a candle for dessert. The view here was great, as you can see the ocean waves lit up by the neighboring restaurant's lights. If you go on a windy night, don't sit outside because it is a little noisy."

"Luckily having a clear day over the coast, the sunset was absolutely great with an unobstructed view from the second floor dining area and bar. The service was average and the food food was slightly above average. Prices were about what you would expect at a ocean front restaurant in San Diego County, but not excessive."

"The restaurant accepted reschedule our reservation from 845pm to earlier, 630pm. And it was very great service, great special deals on Valentine's day. I would go back and try brunch, and dinner assy sunset with my lady."
