"I am a steak lover. I have eaten at many steak restaurants and Ruth's Chris is the best I have ever eaten. I recommend it highly and look forward to the next special occasion just to eat there. I wish I could go more often but my budget limits my visits. Keep up the great work.

"Mothers Day & crowded. We were seated in the enclosed outdoor seating area adjacent to a parking lot-not exactly the ambiance we were looking for. We asked to be moved inside to a booth but were denied. Ordered from the fixed menu-which we had done last yearwith great resultys -but this year portions were very small & waitress seemed determined to up-sell us at every opportunity. Slow service and neither a request for a second order of bread nor second soda for my son ever arrived. The food was mediocore at best and when the bill (finally) arrived it was still very expensive-particularly given what we had ordered. I just don't see us going back given the overall poor experience. I won't pay a premium for mediocore food and service."

"Food was fine. (First round of bread seemed stale, until we asked for it to be replaced). Banquette service in the bar was not as expected for a fine dining restaurant. Waiter was seen visiting with guests at the bar, while our glasses remained empty. Asked the manager once for a club soda refill...instead of taking care or it herself, on a seemingly not busy Thurs night, she said shed send our waiter over. Not sure if that was the time, that I went to the bar to ask the bartender myself, or on another empty glass interval. Point is service was lacking."

"We had dinner on 5/8. The meal was good, we got the steak for two. The steak was good, I thought it was a little small. We went last May and the steak for two was a bigger cut. Service was good. The pecan crusted sweet potatoe casserole was superb."

"Our meal was very good and our server, Ken, was excellent. The filet was cooked exactly as requested. The tomato/crab soup special was good but nothing exceptional. The dessert (chocolate/raspberry cheesecake) was very good. We were seated at the front window with a view of the street and parking lot. I liked the window seat but there is nothing special to look at outside the window. Overall, it was a very nice dinner."

"I called the restaurant earlier that evening to ask a question about wine. The person who i spoke with was rude and gruff.
After we arived, we all ordered steaks medium. They all were served rare and poorly seasoned. We told our server. The server was excellent. She fixed the problem right away. Usually, the manager will come to the table to ask if everything is ok. A manager never came. I was very disappointed in that aspect.
We don't think we will return to that location. From now on, we may just go to the Ruth Chris in DC (Chinatown)."

"For my main course I ordered a NY Strip Steak. It was very good, but not great. I cut the fat off my steak, and by the end of my meal I think about 20% of the steak was left on my plate as cut-off fat. I realize that fat marblizing in a steak is good, but this fat was cut from the sides. Anyway, I've had better NY Strip Steaks at other fine steak houses. Next time I'll order a Filet - like the one my wife really enjoyed."

"My husband and I went to RC for our anniversary and it could not have been more perfect. From the valet who took out car, to the coat check girl, to the server, everyone was so polite and friendly. The manger came by twice to assure that we were having a nice time. Our server, Simon, was extremely professional and did everything he could to ensure an enjoyable evening. Our food was absolutely delicious. The steaks were perfectly cooked and tender. We will most definitely return to Ruth Chris!"

"We took our son and daughter to Ruth Chris for their 1st anniversary. It was excellent as always. One of the wonderful features, we were sat in a little alcove that had a fireplace. Our children loved it.
My husband and I have been to Ruth Chris for many of our own anniversaries and we always have loved it. We have taken each of our married children to Ruth Chris on their first anniversary. Ruth Chris of Annapolis is an awesome experience for everyone going no matter the reason."

"I loved it, took my boyfriend here as a surprise for valentines day. I live in VA and my boyfriend is from Western MD. We both had steak, i had the filet mignon and he had the t-bone, with a baked potato and creamed spinach. Definetly loved the filet as there was less fat in the meat, everything was so delicious and filling. All the food came out piping hot which we loved. It was a great choice over all for a late night romantic dinner. They put us in a private area to ourselves which was nice and our waiter was excellent. Even the other waiters were checking up on us and delivering fresh bread and filling our glasses before we even had asked! Can't wait to go back when it gets a little warmer in the summer. :) We're definetly coming back."

"Ruth's Chris in Annapolis delivers exactly what you're expecting for the money. Going on Valentine's day is very romantic with good mood lighting and well spaced tables. Also, despite the quantity of people, the noise volume was surprisingly low, which is good.
The food itself is exactly what you'd expect from a Ruth's Chris. The steak was cooked to perfection, and the sides were equally amazing, and some of the largest portions I've gotten. They have even warned us that while the sides were portioned smaller on Valentine's Day, and it was still filling. You will not leave here hungry or disappointed.

"Its a shame that a great restaurant brand has lost their edge. If you're going to charge $45 for a steak it better be close to perfect. $200 spent and could have bought two steaks at the grocery store and a bottle of wine and enjoyed a better meal. Its a shame."

"I was truly disappointed for the first time with a Ruth Chris Steakhouse. I order my steak medium and although it was medium in the inside of the steak the outside was well done. The steak was also not a tender as it has been in recent visits. The wait in the lobby area was longer than expected and the fake log did nothing to keep us warm. Probably the last time I eat at the Annapolis Ruth Chris. Will take my chances at the Ruth Chris in Bethesda."

"I decided to take my wife as a surprise dinner to Ruth Chris. We have never been to Ruth Chris in Annapolis. This is a really nice and quiet place to eat and talk. We had a great time and we'll go again. Our food came to the table hot and sizzling,just the way we like it. I think the best event of the night was our service. Our service was great.

"Service at this location was outstanding! The food was as ordered and chef prepared to the upmost degree of deliciousness! I would definitely recommend it for a special/romantic dinning experience. The surrounding neighborhood has a wonderful scenic marina view-would be great during a summertime visit! We will make it our tradition for birthdays and anniversary."

"It was the second time I had been there during Restaurant Week. Everything was terrific. The petit filet was melt in your mouth perfect. the scallops were delicious and perfectly cooked. "Nice place for a special occassion yet a bit "snooty". We went for Restaurant Week and were made to feel bad for selecting the special menu and not something off the regular menu with much higher prices. No substitutions were allowed, meat portions were smaller and this year they eliminated the 1 side that you use to get with the meal during Restaurant week. Not sure we would go back!"

"Every time we go to Ruth's Chris Annapolis, we have a great experience, all the way around! This was our first time doing Restaurant Week. We enjoyed that as well. Great price! "The greeting by the gals at the front desk acted as if we didn't have a reservation. When we we told we could follow the hostess to the table that is is the gals offered to take our coats (coat check). While we weren't treated badly the gals were almost snobbish and on the edge of acting as if they were doing us a favor of giving us a table. Did this have anything to do with the reservation made via Open Table?"

"Great selection of appetizers. Nice affordable group of wine choices. The medium rare petite filet was cooked to perfection, the lump crab meat was extraordinary, the asparagus was crispy, the wild mushrooms melted in your mouth. Dessert, warm apple cobbler with a scoop of vanilla ice cream hit the mark. Service always friendly and perfectly timed between courses."

"Normally my experience at Ruth's Chris is excellent. This time however my service was mediocre at best. It took about 10 minutes for us to get our water & we didn't receive our bread until we were practiclly done our salads. At the end of the meal after dessert we sat at our table for another 10 mins waiting to find our waitress to get our check. Finally we had to walk to the kitchen to ask someone to find our server so we could get our check."

"We visited during restaurant week so it was quite busy with larger groups and I wouldn't judge the restaurant solely on this visit (we've been here before). I wouldn't describe it as a romantic dinner for two. The waitress The food was good but really pushing the cocktails - which we had already had pre-dinner at Chart House. I thought the salad was pretty bland. I guess for out of town travelers, this is standard fare for a Ruth Chris and you know what to expect. Overall, we prefer the flavor and ambiance of the local steakhouse down the street."
