"Temper Grille never disappoints. The only "complaint" I have is that the food is so unbelievable that I have favorites I can't imagine not having every time I go, so I rarely branch out and try new things. I have gone to top notch tapas restaurants in Grand Rapids and Chicago, and I like Temper Grille better. The Michiana area is very lucky to have such a fine restaurant."

"We are regulars at Temper Grill and have been since inception. If you have not tried it yet put it on your to do list ASAP! "Everything about Temper Grille was outstanding. They open at 5PM for dinner. They serve their dishes as they become ready & not as a meal, which was unique. First came 'smashed' potatoes - yum. Next were the U10 scallops - delicious. Then the fresh green beans with onion & garlic - fantastic. They were followed by their speciality dish, mac & cheese - OMG :) Last but not least was the chicken marsala - rich & filling. Dessert was a chocolate truffle with a fresh strawberry & raspberry sauce - the perfect way to top off a perfect meal."

"After all of the reviews on OpenTable, we were excited to give this concept a try. The food was good - nothing spectacular. I didn't walk away feeling like I would need to come back. The server was a little strange - not overly friendly but more seemed to be trying to rush us through the meal. I was hoping for more of what the restaurant promotes - socializing and just a relaxing time while sharing food, but instead I felt like there was this hurried rush to turn the table over.
I'm not unhappy that we went, but given it was a weekend trip I wish we could have ate someplace different."

"This was our first time at Temper Grille, and we'll be back. There is so much variety on the menu that we'll have to visit quite a few times to try all of the items that sound intriguing. The steak bites and chocolate truffles were fabulous! The asparagus, a favorite veggie for my husband, but not for the rest of the family, would have been a real treat if it had not been over-peppered. That said, we will give them another try. Our server was very helpful in showing us the ropes, and appropriately attentive."

"This is the first time I have not been thrilled with this restaurant. Usually the plan things better. We were still eating our respective soups and salads when they served us our spinach artichoke dip and our steak bites. They normally time things better as we felt very rushed and both dishes cooled before we could fully enjoy them."

Only negative is its not the most intimate of settings due to the small overall space. 1 'casual' group can alter the atmosphere of the entire room. However, highly recommended for a 'date night' or for simply treating the taste buds. Staff were very good and made you feel right at home. I cannot compliment the chef enough as food preparation and presentation was outstanding"
