"Group of four, ordered tapas and Bomba paella to share. Tapas were well spaced out and absolutely fantastic. Ordered: serrano jam with olives and manchego, garlic shrimp, garlic mushrooms, patatas bravas, baked goat cheese with honey, fried squid with aliolo, dates wrapped in bacon, and duck confit with pears. Everything incredible and unique - it was hard to pick winners...though the bacon wrapped dates were quite possibly the best thing ever (very sweet though, I could eat them for dessert!). Paella was cooked to perfection and bursting with so much flavour and seafood. Fflamenco show made the night extra special. Our server was wonderful and they were able to easily accommodate a gluten allergy (corn tortillas instead of bread)!"

"my girlfriend and I were disappointed! a big pan of rice and mushroom made with frozen peas arrived with little attention to presentation. Nothing special about it, taste and look was too mediocre, and too overpriced $49.! Ditto with the salad, which was slices of beats sprinkled with crushed walnut and cheese. Wine seemed to have been watered downed. Ambience was alright. Flaminco dance was the saving grace of the $95. Dinner for two, accompanied by live guitar. But even that was missing vocals, (only on Saturdays). I don't want to be mean or unnecessarily harsh, but honestly this was a waste of our time and money. Save yourself the aggrevation and go somewhere else. I will be surprised if they stay in business for too long."

"The tapas were great, with the patatas bravas standing out as perhaps the best I have had in memory. Mushrooms and shrimp were also hits. The paella was simply terrific - each item tasting terrific on its own and the rice base was very tasty and cooked perfectly. The wine we selected (the recommendation that night, strangely) was not available but we were offered a better bottle at the same price which was excellent and appreciated. The entertainment was lively and the atmosphere quite comfortable and homey. A great spot which exceeded our expectations and we will be back again soon."

"We had a wonderful evening. The atmosphere was great as we had a great seat by the window. We had about 8 dishes that were all delicious especially the steak and Jamon Serrano. The entertainment was really what made the evening."

"First time at this restaurant. I had heard the paella was very good. We ordered the seafood paella with shrimp, calamari, muscles and chorizo. It was very tasty and I would definitely go back. While waiting for the paella, we did have some tapas and sangria. The sangria was very good. The tapas were a bit overpriced, but I guess that's how most tapas places are. Overall, a good food experience. The staff were very friendly."

"The Flamenco show on the weekends is a must. Check with the restaurant on the when it's scheduled and reserve accordingly. Their stuffed red peppers, cod croquettes, spanish tortilla and freshly made strawberry lemonade is to die for. I was dissapointed by the flan but i've heard i was on an off-day and normally it's pretty good. Their bread however is so so, surprising given their taste is phenomenal on everything else. The staff is very nice."

"A Flamenco group performs a few times a week. When we went for dinner, there was a dancer, but from what I gather, there is usually just the singer and the guitarist. The performances were so intense, that I could not eat through them. Great experiance.
The food is nothing special, but I liked how they mixed sweet (fruit) with the salty main dish."

"I took advantage of Winterlicious and went with friends. The food was delicious and the menu options for Winterlicious were well chosen. The neighboring table had scrumptious looking empanadas for their appetizer and even the entrée "special of the day" posted on the blackboard near out table sounded equally delicious. My experience makes me want to go back soon and sample items from their regular menu."

"Roasted red pepper with manchego cheese....recommended by our server, and not listed on their menu. Was so good! We had the seafood paella for our main dish, and it was very tasty. We will come back to try other dishes."

"The service was great, however the wine tasted watered down and was not brought to the table in a bottle. As well, the server made a slight error of forgetting one appetizer, but it was corrected immediately"

"After a mix-up about where we are supposed to be seated (they tried to sit us next to the door where it's drafty), the dinner went well. The ambiance was great and the flamenco dance was one-of-a-kind. The food portions was a little on the skimpy side but they were tasty."

"Went with a bunch of friends as part of Winterlicious experience and we were not disappointed. The choices for set menu were lovely, something for everyone, and our server was great at explaining the dishes and the drinks. She made few suggestions and the drinks and food turned out great. My only down point was that they changed one of the dessert in the set menu, there was no chocolate custard. The substitute dessert was good as well but this is just me, I like to finish my dinner with something chocolatey. Overall - lovely little place, very good food, very nice selection of drinks. So definitely - recommend!"

"The food was amazing. The size of the restaurant was great - it was small enough to make dinner an intimate affiar. An added bonus was the Flamenco show which was great fun. This is the second time we have gone there for Winterlicious. Last year they had tapas dishes which we really liked. Though that being said - the food this year (a plated method) was still extremely good."
