"I was pleasantly surprised by the tasty food and vibriant atmosphere. The only thing I did not care for were the hydrated morsels instad of using fresh ones with the bison filet.. The morsels had not soaked long enough and there for were dry and rubbery.

"A rainy night,, gloomy and dull, Brightened when we walked in the Door! Our first time here and the food and service was AMAZING! Our server was not over attentive, the food was excellent, and the dessert was to die for. We will definitely return, and soon!"

"Dined here with my husband and another couple. Our experience was just "fine". Nothing was bad but nothing was over the top either. The tenderloin was really good, but appetizers, other meals and sides were OK. Again, nothing was bad the food just seemed to miss the mark and for the price we paid none of us thought it was worth it. Likely won't be gong back."

"Our hostess seem to be a little lost when we asked for table on the opposit side than where she want to seat us, said it was for people with the reservation. We reminded her that we have reservation. My fish was good but the beef wasn't quite as tender.

"Amazing evening with friends. We started in the bar for a couple signature cocktails and then were seated in the dining room over looking what looked like a fishing dock. That was fun, as they were busy that night bringing in our fresh catch. We all ordered apps, which were fantastic. My friends both had the scallops and the trout. I had the halibut special, which I really enjoined. The service was non-intrusive and they seemed to work together as we never really needed anything throughout dinner. Things almost just happened. This was my second visit and my friends first; we will be back. The server mentioned they change the menu often so that alone will be my reason!"

"This restaurant opened in July of 2012 in an area noted for good restaurants of all flavors. So it can be challenging for a new comer to make an impression and thrive. Thirty 7 North has a great concept. The menu is innovated with reasonable prices. A very good wine selection. The staff was very attentive.

"The first time we dined at 37 North, everything was great. Imagine our dismay when we had the opposite experience last Friday night. 1st: no waiter--the receptionist filled our water glasses, the (presumed) manager finally took our order after a looong wait. Four of six of my starter course of oysters in black pepper mignonette had some vinegar on them, no pepper. Two had no seasoning. Husband's order of barbequed ribs still had the chine attached: very difficult to manage. Peas on my plate--touted as Spring vegetables--were hard (dried out?) The fastest service of the night was when we were presented with the bill. When our credit card was put onto the table, it was whisked away in seconds. Where had this speedster been all evening?"

"Been wanting to try this restaurant for a while. It was an amazing experience. When you first enter the parking lot you know you are somewhere special. The décor inside is absolutely beautiful. The dining room is huge, so you don't feel like you are cramped even when the tables are full. Our server was very knowledgeable and helped us pick some items off the dinner menu. I really enjoyed everything I tried. The presentation of the appetizers and entrees we ordered was spot on. It was just a great experience.
I wanted to mention was the entertainment. There was a live performer in the bar while we were dining. Instead of being a distraction or overpowering, it really added to the experience and was way better than just the radio."

"First visit...Tuesday evening 6:30pm res. Nice bar, good bartender. Hostess noted my arrival said no problem enjoying cocktails while biz dinner party arrived. seated around 7 and place nearly full with suit crowd for biz dinners. Pleasant server but dining room was understaffed for the crowd. where was the manager helping out...server did recognize the slow service and admitted they were understaffed. took a while for drinks and to take orders. once orders taken, food arrived in a reasonable amount of time. Well prepared and presented with nice sized portions from the fish specials to the scallops and ribs. Apps were tasty and good portions. Nice wine list with typical higher end restaurant markup but server didnt know wine well."

I can not say enough about this place.....sat night there was a guy playing music in the bar and he was really good, food was wonderful ( our table had shrimp, salads, halibut, and scallops-great wine too), and Jeremy our waiter was spot on. "We talked with waiter extensively about Pinots and our favorites. I ordered the Wild Hog Saralees Pinot Noir but was served the Wild Hog Zinfandel. The zinfandel portion of the label was not noticed until after i had my first glass. I liked their Zin and it was a date with my wife so I gave her the taste and she said she liked it but disapointing to have received the wrong wine. Jumbo shrimp was good a little expensive for 1 bite. The Tuna appetizer was tasty and presented well. Warm mushroom salad was small but nice. There was no salt or pepper on the table or I would have added some to it. The Trout main course was very pretty but the buttermilk sauce was bland. Coffee dessert was an A+."

"This place was fabulous! My fiancee and I went to dinner to celebrate our engagement, and it was the perfect romantic date night restaurant. Our server was fantastic - I had him choose the wine to pair with the trout that I ordered - and he was attentive without being intrusive. "I took an out of town friend on Sunday night, and we loved every bit of our dinner. She had the mushroom salad and scallops, and I had the watercress salad and pork chop. We enjoyed a lovely bottle of wine, and shared the chocolate dessert. Everything was fabulous, and our waiter made the night even better with good recommendations and great service. "There are lots of encouraging signs here, but menu selections don't include enough local fresh fish dishes...Too many meat dishes...More light items subtly seasoned with fresh herbs would be appreciated and would draw us back more often. The much-vaunted shrimp tempura were disappointingly greasy, but we appreciated being able to order by the piece. (I wonder how many people really want bison and oxtail?????) The chef is obviously talented. And the space is beautiful. We love that the menu changes frequently,so how about some lighter dishes without beans and ham or bacon, and spicy seasonings!!! High marks for the bread basket! And service every time has been excellent!"

The service started out very good, however our server had at least 3 other tables with larger parties and our service degraded quickly. After finishing our meal, our empty plates sat on the table for 15 minutes or more before being removed. I would expect much better service for the cost of the meal."

"This was our first visit to Thirty 7 North...we went for Valentines day but fairly early. We were immediately seated..our first impression was WoW! What the new owners have done with this place--we had been to the previous restuarants/bars. It is so much more elegent and upscale. The music was soft and served as a delightful backdrop to the fine service, great selections and attentive service. The bar is situated a sufficient distance that the general murmur from that scene is not obtrusive--although it was early evening. We ordered an appetizer and the flounder dinner and a gellato based desert. All were outstanding. On the way out my wife was given a red Valentine's Day rose..which we agreed was a delightful surprise."

"Food was delicious all around. The only part that wasn't wonderful was the service. My general feeling was that they were overwhelmed or under-trained. All of the staff members were pleasant and seemed to be working very hard. When I gave the hostess my name she walked away, leaving me to wonder if my reservation wAs valid. There was confusion as to which specials were available and which desert belonged to which table. As I said, the servers apologized profusely each time; my impression was that the Valentine' Day crush was more than they could handle. Still, great food, though."

"Everyone in my shop gave it high marks. We weren't dissappointed in trying a new place on our anniversary. The food, service, and setting were just what we wanted. My Bison was rich in flavor with each bite. I wish I had a bucket of the Cured Bacon appetizer in my lap for the Super Bowl. The Leek soup had my wife asking me to bring her back again. We have a new favorite ,"our spot.""

"Bar was hopping, so was a bit too noisy when initially seated at table closest to bar area, but requested table across the dining room and it was fine.
Food was OUTSTANDING! I was thrilled to have left-overs so I could savor the experience again the next day for lunch!"

"The restaurant was PACKED for Restaurant Week, but we were still extremely impressed with both the food and service as always; they didn't miss a beat. After cocktails, which contained some of Chef Eric's homemade bacon!, We started with the fried shrimp and thought that they were absolutely the best we've had. I had the bison ribeye which was extrememly tender and flavorful; I could not stop eating it! Another had the scallops that were PERFECTLY cooked with beautiful camelization served under a bed of spaghetti squash that everyone literally could not stop talking about. The service from Dr. J was outstanding as always and we all ended our night with delecatable desserts to include the coffee panna cotta, now one of my favorites."
