"I celebrated my birthday at this restaurant which was recommended by a friend who had previously dined here. The food was great, large and delicious. especially the deserts out of this world. It was very noisy but a very good atmosphere and I even got to watch Australian rules football which was an added bonus. Overall a great dining experience and occasion for our family."

"Great for Lunch or Dinner but not breakfast..The Loco Moco is and Island favorite but this restaurant's version was very bland. Had Spaghetti for dinner, it was ok but then again the name of the place is Giovanni Pastami, should have ordered that. Great service."

"We were seated in the bar area which was loud and crowded, asked for a table down stairs but was told they had a big party coming in and needed all of the tables down there. Never saw a big party come in and the tables were occupied by couples. Food was good for a light dinner and I would go back again, but try not to be seated in the bar area."

"We were looking for "not fancy" dining in Waikiki that wasn't fast food. Giovanni's fit the bill. My husband had the Kalhua pork club, and it was a delight, piled high with pork, bacon and avocado. The fries were hot, plentiful and non-greasy. My ham and turkey club was as expected - just fine. There were lots of choices for beers and cocktails. Service was friendly and efficient.
Giovanni's is busy, noisy and has good food. A good option in Waikiki if you are looking for reasonably priced and tasty food. Thumbs up."
