It allows us to make sure we are using the best ingredients possible; supporting the farmers and producers of our surroundings, and sourcing wine and beer that are actually worth the sip. The passion for good food is what makes us go out of our way to pick what we serve every day and it is why we’re trying to make a change. "great food, farm to table, awesome quality... Bistro 7 knows what's up.. but I was upset that I made a reservation (I assumed for a table) - but was asked to sit at the bar for mothers day. - I waited 10 min and got a table... I wish they would have said something as I spoke to them the day before to confirm the reservation."

"Limited menu - but everything was exceptional. Food was well prepared - fresh local ingredients. We had several small plates - grilled octopus, tapas trio plate of mushroom, olive and sweet potato - all excellent. Also tried the side of eggplant - nice salad. Salmon was a generous portion - with lobster sweet potato - differnet but nice. Will definitely go back."

"While the food and drinks are excellent, the tables are approximately 1ft apart! so, private conversation is right out the window... service was good, at least until we decided against dessert. after that we felt like we were being thrown out the door.

"I love this little Wilyon spot! We had a delightful meal consisting of perfectly seared scallops with pancetta, truffle fries, and bistro 7 salad. The most amazing part of our meal was the baby back ribs. I don't remember the last time I had ribs like this wear the meat is just completely tender and falling off the bone. Came with home made coleslaw and fries. Really the full rack is a meal for 2. This was a meal I would definitely recommend. Service was warm and attentive. Restaurant does not have a lot of seating but it's cozy and intimate. Very well put together. Looking to try many more items on this menu!!"

"This is a somewhat new restaurant and seems they are still working out some details. The menu the evening we went was a prix fixe. Lamb lollipop was delicious, but the oysters were drowned in a sorbet. Main course haddock was very well done, but surf and turf the surf was pre-cooked and very bad. Meat was very well done.
We weren't impressed with the deserts. Standard and not done as well as they could have been. Overall, enjoyed the evening. Food was ok and believe it will get better. Look forward to seeing how they do as they get more engaged with the menu. Place is billed as farm to table and that didn't come across, but could have been the special occassion menu."

"WOW This restaurant is a TRUE GEM!!!! Came here for lunch with a friend and everything was so incredibly good we can't wait to come back for dinner. Looking at their dinner menu, it changes according to what's fresh that day. We needed this type of place in Wilton! I had the avocado burger with cilantro sauce, manchego cheese and pancetta. It was out of this world! My friend had the chipotle chicken chowder. I wanted to take a pint home it was so amazing. The kale salad is crisp and fresh with just enough dressing. Wine list is creative and interesting...service was knowledgable and hospitable. The decor is very cozy and warm. We will definitely be back!"

"We dined here late on a Tuesday night, so can't comment on how vibrant the bar scene is on weekends, but the bar itself is well stocked and it is an attractive place to sit, so I can imagine it is lively at other times. The food is terrific, great variety and beautifully served. The service was outstanding. We got a lot of attention and advice from our server, who entertained as well as informed us. The drinks menu is extensive with concoctions I have never seen before. We were delighted with our selections. We will definitely return."

Sat by the window it was freezing
Drinks bartenders were great...
Food was good. Steak was prepared and cooked perfect although my sides were not even remotely warm....
Would go back to give it a second chance
Being a business owner myself I let them know about the cold food.... But over an hour wait with a reservation ? Maybe throw us a round of drinks while we waited...

"Not a bad spot. Glad to have more local options that are decent. But it's not quite great. The service was helpful, but overbearing. It's hard to fault someone for trying, but I don't need to report how I like each bite and having our conversation constantly interrupted is not fun.
House wines had been opened too long and were flat--nothing special to begin with. Wine list was excellent, but by the glass was meh.
The food was pretty good--some dishes bordering on great. A little more work on staff, presentation, and ambience and this could be very good restaurant."
