"My mussel appetizer was good and so was the warm and crusty bread. After that, everything else was fair and acceptable. It was one of those places where you leave saying that eating at home is far better and a lot less expensive. Service was adequate though not especially attentive. I would not return."

"Josephines is a consistently great food, nice ambiance, great place to have a quiet dinner in a relaxing atmosphere. Our experience was very good, the only negative is after we were seated two large groups came in and were seated at the round tables behind us. The noise level rose dramatically, and we probably should have asked to be moved but since we go to this restaurant frequently we did not want to appear rude.

Next time we will know to ask to be seated in the back where there are no large tables available for groups, somewhere we can have a quiet conversation. This is the first time this has every happened to us."

"when we arrived we were told that it was Opera night. That was not advertised on the internet for booking that reservation. We were not happy about the additional $12. per person for a perc we didnt know about or care about. The owner had a very bad attitude."
