"We had a group of 8, three of which had the special (lamb) and it was very good. The rest of us ordered off the menu and the food was only ok. We were told the pizza oven was down for the night so that greatly limited the menu, especially for the vegetarian in our group. Her only option was a dinner salad and side of roasted vegtables, which turned out to just be wilted lettuce with fenel & onion. A couple people in the group ordered an appetizer with a salad as their meal. They brought the appetizers out with the salads so they had nothing while the rest of us ate. The service otherwise was good and they discounted (without us asking) the vegetarian meal, which we felt was fair. The atmosphere was nice. It's more suited to small groups."

"Comfortable. Cozy. Perfect end to an incredible fun day... in incredibly awful weather! Fixed menu was well-planned and tasty - somewhat pricey but expected during Derby weekend. We will look forward to a return visit during next trip to Lousiville!"

"Easy to get a reservation because the place was almost empty on a Friday night. Service was very good, but the food was tasteless. Pizzas had no seasoning, no interesting ingregients, and mushroom pasta was completely bland. Fresh baked bread was good, but goat cheese dip disappointing and calamari had more peppers than calmari. We will not return."

"Friendly server - nice ambiance. Ordered calamari for an appetizer. Server brought my salad out at the same time as the appetizer. The calamari pesto dip was very tasty, but the calamari was too salted. I had a pasta dish and my tablemate had the pork chop. He said it was okay - the brussel sprouts side was very tasty, he said. My Tagliatele (sp?)was ok, nothing special. There was a very bitter lettuce (radicchio?) that was mixed in with the pasta and it added nothing except...bitterness. The Panzanella special salad had a warm dressing on it and did not taste like a traditional Panzanella.
We each had a martini, and my tablemate also had a glass of wine. The total with tip for two was about $110. Not worth the money."

"Entres were great! We enjoyed the menu and specials available, plus a rather wide wine list by bottle and by the glass. This visit was a little rushed due to theatre tickets, but will return soon!!"

"Food was delicious! The salads were especially good--- out of the ordinary combinations of lettuces, vegetables, meats, and cheeses. Love the decor and outside dining is available--- great for people watching. Didn't care for their choice of music but it wasn't abnoxiously loud. Have already recommended it to friends!"

"We were visiting Louisville and I chose this restaurant off Open Table because it was close to our hotel, I could make a reservation online, and the menu looked good. Our server was great. For a Friday night the place was quite empty. I was there with my family and we each enjoyed our meal."

"This was our second visit to Quattro. The food was very good and we love the menu. But service was disappointing. The kitchen timing was off. The entree came way before we had eaten our salads. And then table service was quite slow."

"Beautiful interior, friendly staff, and all the dishes we chose were very tasty. Especially love the mussels, grilled romaine with feta & toasted pumpkin seeds, yellow snapper crudo, and the swordfish was perfectly cooked (not tough as found in too many restaurants). We'll be back!"

"Overall not impressed. The food was not typical we did not feel for an "Italian" restaurant. Server did not know what Panna Cotta was calling it a "cake thingy", being Italian I knew this was not correct. The staff should know every element of the dishes they serve including their taste.
Not planning on returning."

"Food was great. Service at our table was very good but our service at the bar was extremely slow and the bar was not crowded at the time. But overall our experience was very good and we loved the food so would go back."

"When we first arrived we were sure we would have a good experience. The atmosphere, the greeting, the server - all great. We ordered a flat bread as an appetizer and it was great. My wife's salad (don't recall the specifics) was great. Then came the main course. My wife had a beef dish while I opted for a veggie pasta. My wife's was soaked - not sprinkled - but soaked with olive oil to the point she could not eat it. My mushroom, etc pasta was just plain bad. I managed a couple of bites and gave up.
The manager offered us something else but we opted to just pay for our food and leave. We did leave the server a nice tip because she was certainly not the problem."

"Well the restaurant was a pleasant place, the service was awsome. We where a table of four , the food was very bland , lacked any emagination. The menu is limited , with some choices questionable. The chef needs to go back too school and learn the proper, Seasoning of food is vital. Then too top it all of everything was overpriced for the quality you receive. This place will be gone in a year or less, should have gone too Eddie,s across street. 7:30non a Saturday night and there wasn't a dozen poepe in the place........ Would spend my money some where else......."

"We went for Valentine's Day. We were not informed it was a fixed price menu, $45/person . The choices were Very limited. The portions were ridiculously SMALL with virtually no accompaniments. No bread was served or even offered. We were so cold in the restaurant we had to ask to be moved to a warmer spot. I can guarantee we will never go back. I apologized to my wife and we salvaged the night by getting a 10 pack at White Castle. By the way, I have dined all over Louisville, from a private table in the kitchen at the English Grill to 620 Magnolia so we are not foodie rookies nor snobs, hence the White Castle. We are just looking for quality food, reasonable portions, and a fair value for our money. Shame on you Quattro."

"Four of us had dinner. Food was just average and was priced to be much more than average. I think the saddest part was our server. She was simply not trained well. A restaurant of this caliber should have very proficient wait staff. My salad needed salt and it took forever to get a salt shaker. This is one of those places that doesn't place salt and pepper on the table, which I find irritating anyway. A couple of us had pasta and the pasta water had not been salted which really detracted from the taste of the dish. Kinks need to be ironed out."

"Was very disappointed ! Went for Valentines Day and there was a pre fixed menu. We thought the restaurant would put it's best food and presentation to fit the price but food was average. The ,anger was social, but asked if everything was to our liking, but we had not been served anything but a cocktail and bread. We never saw him again to ask how our dining experience was. Great atmosphere, outstanding wait staff. Not sure we would eat there again."

"Quattro is a great, unique Italian restaurant. Our group loved the pasta with wild mushrooms, the pasta with a pork and beef aside, and the unique appetizers. We'll definitely go back."

"I went for a business lunch. I am not from louisville so i was going into it blind. The layout of the place is very cool. Someone put thought and money into it. My partner had a pasta dish that was excellent. I had the sandwich with Italian cold cuts. the sandwich reminded me of Italy. Excellent potato chips. Desert was something that i could not pronounce that was accompanied by a pistachio cookie. Excellent. I want to go back for dinner next time i am in Louisville"
