Arirang Hibachi Steakhouse & Modern Asian Tavern was proud to announce the grand opening of its newest restaurant in Langhorne, located across from the Oxford Valley Mall, in the Target Shopping Center in December of 2008. Arirang Hibachi Steakhouse & Modern Asian Tavern offers hibachi dining rooms, with live cooking, delicious food and drinks, as well as a modern Asian tavern with a menu featuring an appealing array of sushi and Pan-Asian infused dishes like Kobe Sliders, Asian Cioppino, Saikyo Miso Chilean Sea Bass and Wasabi Crusted Filet Mignon. "Upon arrival I told the hostess that we had reservations and she told me that there would be a 30 minute wait. When I asked why, since we had reservations (through OpenTable) she said that they don't take reservations and that you can only go on the wait list once your entire party arrives.
A restaurant that doesn't take reservations shouldn't be on OpenTable, IMO.
The food was pretty standard for a Hibachi restaurant. The waiter and chef were very friendly - better than most Hibachi restaurants. The noise level was extremely high, although that may have been because we were there during a peak time on a holiday. Carrying on a conversation with anyone other than someone directly next to you was impossible."

"My fiance and I love Arirang, however I do suggest that you call ahead or make a reservation because they do get very busy there! The food is always great, they have the BEST fried rice here! The service could be better though, it usually takes a long time for someone to come back around if you need a refill or something like that. It does feel like they try to rush you out the door a little once the chef is done cooking. If you like to try new things, or are in need of a little entertainment this is definitely the place to go!"

"This is a very good place to go if you are looking for entertainment as well as a meal. The hibachi was great, out chef was amazing and kept us entertained the whole time! The service was okay, could have been a little more attentive (especially since the restaurant wasn't very crowded) but all in all we all got what we needed. The food was very delicious and flavorful, and was cooked perfectly. I would definitely recommend Arirang!"

"This was our second visit to Arirang, and unfortunately, it wasn't as great as the first visit, although the food is good (my husband loves their hibachi). We got seated with a table that had already received their soups/salads, so when we ordered, the waiter brought my husbands beer/salad/soup all at once, which made us feel a bit rushed. Also, my waiter only refilled my green tea once, and I would have liked more. Once we got over that, we did enjoy the food, the chef, and the overall experience, but we now know that a Sunday evening is a bit hectic!"

"A Groupon brought us in. It was about a 40min drive just for a deal. I must say the drive was worth it. With hibachi style restaurants you always expect a little bit more of a lively atmosphere, but I must say everyone on staff was very pleasant. "We have eaten here quite a number of times in the bar or the dining room side. Have eaten on the hibachi side once but don't care for it. As usual, they didn't disappoint. Nice menu selection but since we frequent this restaurant and nothing has changed on it since it opened, we would enjoy a few specials or change up in the menu. More disappointing was the styrofoam container that my leftovers were put in. They used to give a more eco-friendly container. But still a great place in the neighborhood."

"The food, service and atmosphere were amazing. However, making a reservation doesn't really matter. We made a reservation for 7:30 on a Saturday night and the place was packed. When we arrived, the hostess informed us that making a reservation didn't mean you were guaranteed a seat at the time of the reservation. She said it amounted to "calling ahead." While we didn't mind the 45 minute wait, I could see how a family with children might get annoyed. It would have been nice if their website or open table had indicated that reservations were not guaranteed."

"Spent my birthday at Arirang with my family and two young children. We went early to avoid the Saturday dinner crowd & we were seated right away at our own Hibachi table. Our chef was very entertaining & went out if his way to amuse the kids. The food was delicious, everyone enjoyed it very much. The service was great. They brought out an ice cream cake & sang happy birthday & gave me a souvenir picture and ceramic drink cup. It is the perfect place to celebrate & very family friendly. Much fun!!"

"I love this restaurant....best in the state! But this time I had a horrible time, I booked Mark as my chef and of course they had him somewhere else so we had their "top chef" Jeven. He was horrible...he did not entertain us like the others did...I would not recommend Jeven ever again and may have been the last time I ever go there."
