Revolution Grille is a chef owned and operated restaurant that offers eclectic American cooking produced with classical techniques and ethnic influences from around the world. The ever-changing menu is a new take on American cuisine based on Chef and Proprietor Rob Campbell's direction. The menu will feature local and seasonal items and guests will appreciate the exceptional value and moderate pricing. "I looked at the menu before I went to Revolution. I was convinced that I would get the fish tacos for an app but the waitress convinced us that the brussel sprouts were out of this world. She was right. Not only were they sensational but they inspired my roommate and myself to try and recreate them. That turned out to be a really fun roommate activity.
The quality of the ingredients that Chef Rob gets are amazing and all the food I ate reflects his vision and passion. Great job Rob!"

"The only thing I will share is that the food is always great, but the options are very limited. This was not at all an issue for my hubby and I, but the other couple was a bit taken back by the minted selections. Love how you do wine :)"

"I'm a total foodie. The food was awesome, even the bread and the dessert (Tres Leches cake). The wine I tried was good not awesome (Mie??? pinot noir). Decaf coffee was average. I had crispy Brussels sprouts and salmon risotto. Everything was delicious and the service was very attentive. Not polished, because they seemed a tiny bit nervous... they should have more confidence in themselves, they are very good at their jobs. I said the atmosphere was romantic, and it was, with the notable exception that it was located in a strip mall. I booked this place from the road and I was expecting it to be in a historic downtown type location. Aside from the strip mall location I really loved this place. The decor inside was beautiful and distinctive."

"I have dined at the Revolution Grille twice. The first time was amazing and the second time even more amazing! If you like creative food, this is the place in Toledo to go! It's like eating art. The artichoke appetizer is seriously the best vegetable you will ever eat. The Beef Medallions and Revolution Blue Mac n Cheese is RIDICULOUSLY good! So good we had to pass bites around the table. The staff is superb! I waited tables for years as a young person and have very high standards. They are always there to exceed your own. I am so happy that Toledo has a gem like this. I can't say enough!"

"I had read about Chef Rob in the City Paper a year ago. He was rated second best chef in the Toledo area and for good reason. Great selection of interesting food combinations. Definitely a must for foodies!! Mac and blue is phenomenal as are the brussel sprouts. Give it a try."

"Menus on an Android allow for frequent menu additions instead of a chalk board and are descriptive and visually appealing. I recommend reservations as it's a relatively small place, with one side devoted to tables and booths while the other side of the restaurant features a bar. when we arrived (5:30) and with reservations, the bar area was full as were three quarters of the tables. By the time we received our appetizers, the place was full.
The food was excellent. I had the curry chicken and the half breast was succulent with a crispy skin while the seasonings were mild and flavorful. Others at our table had the rib eye, the chicken schnitzel and the salmon risotto and all were pleased."

"I went here for the first time on a weekday after work. They have great Happy Hour specials, which we took advantage of! Our drinks were great and we shared a couple of the small plate appetizers. The goat curds had an amazing jalapeño honey sauce with them. I used some of the bread we were given to get every last drop! Our other dish was the fish tacos. Again, the sauce that came with them was outstanding. I already have plans to return! If there is a downside, I would say that I can see how it would get very noisy as the night goes on. We were there at an early time, but even then I would have preferred the music to be turned down."

"I had called to reserve the back room for a private office dinner. Made request for the private room on open table and also spoke personally with the manager who initially told me it costs 150 dollars to reserve that room (when we had been in that room a few days before that and were not charged any extra money and at that point I was not charged anything extra). On the day of our meeting we found that they had booked another small group in the same room."

"This was our first experience at Revolution Grill and we liked it very much. We were seated at a table in the middle of the room and the noise level was quite high. Perhaps if we had a table or booth on the edge of the room next time, it would be better for us.
The food and service was excellent and we will definitely return and recommend it to others. The ambiance is also great; the noise level is the only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5.

"Stopped in for Sunday dinner. Empty at 5:30 but filled fast. Cocktails were diluted by too much shaking or soft ice but definitely thin. Excellent wine list (all under $40.00) and clever menu. Maple was a little strong on the crispy Brussels sprouts but tasty. Strong flavors throughtout the menu -Blue chees,goat cheese bacon etc. Not a subtle place but a lot of fun. Location in strip mall is mitigated by free parking and a well designed interior that eliminates the view.Very few dining options in this part of town. Recommended."

"Food was decent but not note worthy. Our server mocked my boyfriend's request to "hold the egg" on his chicken schnitzel and only stopped by the table once after our food came out. No one ever refilled our drinks either. I eat out 15-20 times per month as I travel frequently for work. This place has potential to be a great place. Maybe it already is since it was packed when we arrived. However, I won't be likely to return as there are too many other places I would rather try than return somewhere for mediocre food and service."

"We dined at Revolution Grille on Valentine's Day, I was smart and reserved a table on OpenTable. The food was great - I ordered the Goat Cheese Ravioli and my wife ordered the Beef Tenderloin Medallions. The beef was cooked precisely to order! (huge 2 thumbs up) The service was great. We sat at a table in a room in the back, I want to return and sit somewhere else so I can better take-in the atmosphere. That might be the only disappointment, I feel like we missed out on some of the ambiance."
