"We did a 3 birthday dinner, We had a few app's that were very good, we then had salads. The main courses were served with a few sides. All was very good. Cocktails were very good. We did a nice bottle of wine and we had some leftovers to take on home. We have been to Del Frisco's before and we will be back again soon."

"We had a pre-theatre dinner here in April. My husband was enamored with his Blue Crab flatbread, and it was pretty darn good. My Steakhouse Salad was the right combination of a well-cooked steak and crisp salad. The deviled eggs were a fun addition. The lemon cake was okay -- flavor was good but it had a dry texture as though it had sitting out too long. Overall, we really liked the place, it has tasty food and quick service. The two areas that I disliked were that they would not seat me until my husband arrived (which I understand when the restaurant is busy, but not when 80% of the tables are empty) and the overly loud music in the bar area (it's an open concept design)."

"We enjoyed our apps so much. We were all excited for a meal we couldn't forget after hearing good things. Our meal was a very pricey one. We expected it and paid for good food. We thought.. The service was horrible. No drink refills, Water was never refilled at tables. We spent a considerable amount of money on bar drinks..entrees were blah. 8 of us, and we all had better food the next night at Cracker Barrel. For 1/4 the price. My daughter with me. I asked for OJ, said they had none ( bar?) and we asked for chocolate syrup on top of ice cream scoop for kids ice cream(half scoop, 6.00!) told waitress chili Mac n cheese was unbearable hot.(and I like hot) charged us anyway for 12.00 Mac! Soggy fries! Almost not edible. Dry flavorless filet!"

"Del Frisco's Grille offers diners near the Hill with a nice option to the pricier D.C. steakhouses. There is a somewhat limited selection of steaks to be sure (especially when compared to their sister establishment the "Double Eagle Grille" in New York..) but the menu has enough options - including some fresh fish entrees - that will please most patrons."

"This place is solid for lunch, particularly if it's sunny outside. I definitely recommend the Ahi Tuna. The service was friendly and competent. But the hostess (actually I think the woman who manages the host station) can be brusque and not so polite, even if you've made a reservation."

"This restaurant is magnificent. The food was wonderful -- with interesting mixtures of ingredients. I don't think I have ever experienced this level of service; there were servers and others everywhere attending quickly to each diner's wishes. The wine list is excellent. A real gem."

"Our entrees came out on top of our appetizers - literally they cleared the salad plates as we were still finishing them so that they could serve our entrees. The quality of the food was ok, not great. I have been to the Del Frisco's in Ft. Worth and had a great experience, but left the DC one disappointed. For example, on service, the sommelier came over to our table right after we were seated and asked us if we were ready to order wine. I told her we needed a minute to read the extensive wine list. When we were ready, we had questions and instead of coming back, the sommelier just gave our waitress one wine to recommend and did not meet with us again. There are too many better restaurants in this genre so I will not be going back."

"I've been to Del Frisco's once before and the food was outstanding, but this time it was mediocre. The sole with lump crabmeat was bland and the coating was soggy. I switched to crab cake sliders which were delicious but the french fries were warm at best. My dining partner had the chicken wrap which was good, but then her french fries were cold. Service was very attentive though and I would try again."

"I liked the energy and feel of the space. We were lucky to get a booth so we could talk. I think that the tables in the center of the room (along side the bar) would have been too noisy. There were 4 of us and I was the only one a little disappointed with the food. I wouldn't recommend the grilled cheese sandwich--if I hadn't added tomato to it, it might have been compeltely flavorless! The coffee I ordered after the meal was lukewarm and had to be replaced, and I really hate when that happens."

"My office crew and I went to Del Friscos for a late lunch and some hang time together. Of the three lunches we ordered, by far the best and most interesting was the philly steak egg roll appetizer. Two of us had tomato bisque, which was good, not exceptional. I had the macaroni and cheese, which had been billed as a favorite. Though I ate it because I was hungry, it was mediocre at best. I would definitely not highlight it as a stand out item on the menu!
In terms of ambiance, we had a corner booth, which felt cozy and quiet. The restaurant was quiet anyway, because we were there late. The furnishings and overall design and layout seemed good. Would try it one more time before writing it off completely."

"I loved the decor of this restaurant and the relax feeling. I have been at this restaurant three times and have not gotten anything that wasn't good. The salads are very good and refreshing, I haven't tried anything else but will the next time I go. Everyone at the restaurant is exceptionally friendly and helpful and work together as a team which you don't find very often."

"I go to Del Frisco's for lunch and drinks after work because it's across the street from my office. The food and atmosphere are good and they have a good, varied menu. The service is always very good. But why? why? why? do the hosts make you feel like you're intruding when you arrive?? Especially if - god forbid - you don't have a reservation! I'm trying to eat at your establishment - don't make me feel like I'm not welcome! Once you get past the host desk, it's an enjoyable experience."

"The restaurant had great difficulty with a special food need. They got it wrong twice. Special was a bone in steak that was mostly bone and with little meat was way over priced. Check specials very carefully if you go there as this was over the top for charge and under everything for value. No one seemed concerned about our food with follow up. Unlikely to return."

"Had the tuna tacos and the tomato flatbread. Both were excellently done. I did expect the tuna to be seared though given that it was in a taco, but it was not. It gave a sushi feel to a taco... I would have it again though. The wine selection is pretty good, although it is expensive per glass even given the quality. It does get crowded in the restaurant and the bar so reservations are necessary."

"Ahi tuna tacos were better the first time i was there and tried them. Heirloom tomato salad left much to be desired. But none of that mattered once the nightly special, surf and turf, came out -- the crab cake with a cajun remoulade was amazing, and the cut of steak was superb. server Missy was also terrific - constantly checking in, courteous, super cheerful, friendly and fun. she's what you hope for in a server.

"The food and service were both awesome. The Cheesesteak Eggrolls are to die for!! (Deviled eggs weren't bad either. The) Blackened BBQ Rub Delmonico Steak was delicious. They have the best iced tea I've ever had too! Nice place to eat before a show. Will definitely go to Del Frisco Grille again!"

"We had a great time at Del Friscos. Food was incredible, only thing lacking was service. Waiter took an inordinate amount of time to get to our table, plates were always mixed up when they arrived, which is not a big deal except when they can't figure out who's steak is who's. sides arrived about 5 min after steaks, one of the sides we didn't even order. Manager came by to check when sides were missing, apologized, said shed make iy worth out while but nothing ever came of it. That being said good made up for it all."

"This was our first visit to Del Frisco's. The food was good, but should have been better given what we paid for the meal. The noise level was extremely and uncomfortably loud (even though the place wasn't very crowded). When our food arrived, my wife's filet mignon was undercooked - a problem that was quickly resolved. After being served our food, the waiter never came back inquiring about our meal. After finishing our dinner, the waiter took a long time before clearing our table. When he finally did return he did so rather brashly not pausing to ask us if we wanted coffee, dessert, or if we wanted our check. We felt like he wanted us to leave. When he returned with dessert menus a while later, we asked for the check."

"This place looks great, and has great energy, but unfortunately the food quality has slipped greatly and was subpar, especially considering the prices. My cheeseburger was great, but the fries were soggy and cold. My friend's crab cakes were bland and served lukewarm at best. Quantity of the crab cakes was also too small.
We sat at the tables in hebbar area, and service was great at first, but we literally got no service after our order was taken. The food came out quickly, but we waited over 15m for our plates to be cleared after we were done. No one stopped by in between to ask how the food was or if we needed anything (like drink refills).
I think the restaurant was busy for lunch this day, but bad experience overall."
