"I have been to Sevilla in San Diego often. The location in Riverside is nicer and pleasant location.
However, the food was not impressive. We were there in a group of 5 and ordered 12 tapas (different ones) 2 main courses (Paella's) and desert. Only thing that stood out as full of flavr owas the mushroom and fig coca. All the dishes were not bad but just short of being great. The flavors were muted, an was like looking at a beautiful painitng through a cheese cloth. Almost seemed like the chef did not taste the dishes to make sure they were salted and flavored sufficiently,
Even great cooks and cheds have an off night. So I would give them a chance again. Hope they sharpen the flavors to match the environemnt. Service was excellent!!"

"We went upstairs (first time upstairs), had a few appetizers, olive bread and ceviche and for the main course, paella. Being a Thursday night it was not very crowded. The paella was as good as I remember and will definitely go there again."

"Sunday brunch failed far short of the hype. The fresh oyster was yucky (spitted out) and almost made us get up and leave. Everything were bland and could use some salt and pepper. The only remedy was the made to order omelette, crepe, etc. We definitely will not come back, nor recommend to others."

"It has been some time since our last visit to this restaurant. They have really stepped up the breadth and quality of their menu. It is great. The service is attentive as before and the building beautiful (historic renovation with soaring ceiling). Come early and enjoy a great. Happy hour at the bar before dinner!"

"Allison was a great waitress since we are planning a trip to Barcelona next month we wanted to taste the favor of good Tapas Spanish food. She was very helpful on giving us tips on our upcoming trip. We will be back in a few weeks. THey have this great Happy Hours all day Sunday that we were able to take advantage of during our visit. Great food."

"The food was excellent and the service was very good. I thought paella was a mid day meal and the tapas were to be served in the evening. Both were available in the evening. The portions are large so be sure to ask for a "take home" box. Our waitress was a charming lady named Margarita"

"I don't know what has happened here. Admittedly, I was there on a Tuesday night, but this place is dead. There is a big curtain across the dining room, presumably to make you feel less like you are in a totally empty restaurant. The food is OK, but our service was awful. I made a mistake in ordering a cappucino following my meal, and waited 10 minutes for it. I had another reservation coming up for a business dinner at Cafe Sevilla, but I cancelled."
