"Fondue dining at its best. Everything about The Melting Pot (Savannah) is done well. Our server, Alicen, a senior at SCAD majoring in Industrial Design expects to design an opening Olympics program. That's the caliber of talent The Melting Pot hires!

"My wife and I went for our 2yr anniversary. We were instantly impressed by the seating staff who congratulated us on or anniversary and after we were seated our waitress gave us an anniversary card that was signed by the staff. The waitress was very knowledgeable of the menu and made great suggestions. The atmosphere was romantic and quiet, perfect for some quality time with your partner. We really enjoyed interacting with one another preparing and sharing our food with each other. Would definitely recommend the Melting Pot to any couple looking to enjoy some one on one time with each other."

"Dinner was excellent but the dessert was over the top. Chocolate Fondue with the best Chocolate ever.... mm mm mm good lick the pot. Strawberries, Banana's, Marshmallows coated with graham crackers and Oreo's, Pound Cake, Brownies, Rice Krispy Squares and last but not least Cheesecake that was to die for. Truthfully, I am not even a lover of cheesecake (never order it) but this was outstanding, my hubby said you need to try this. So glad I did.
It was a fun night with delicious food, great service. I look forward to eating there again.
I found this restaurant through Open Table becasue we were taking a few days in Savannah. Best Choice"

"This was our second time visiting a Melting Pot and this visit was just as good as the last! The Melting Pot is a place that continues to impress my wife and I. "Loved the seating. Very cozy, no noise, able to have consersation over dinner. Main couse a bit bland. Perhaps they can find a way to boil raw meat and give it flavor. Liked the cheese course...wish it was around when we had the meat...it could have used it. Very over priced for what you get. Next time we will doing the "melting pot" at home. But it was an experience. Unfortunately for us we decided it was a one time experience."

"The food was good, but comparing it to other fondue restaurants, I was looking for a little more. A tempura batter for the vegggies would have been good. We needed more fruit and rice crispy treats for the chocolate, brownies are just redundant for a chocolate fondue, keep them. Some seasonings would have been nice too, rather than just salt and pepper, to season the meat mainly. The sauces were good, but I don't always want a sauce. We will go back though."

"If you've never done fondue it's an amazing way to dine and worth trying. It is definitely a special occasion restaurant due to the price but worth every penny. I took my fiancé here for a date and it was the first time he had eaten there. They have cozy tables for two where you get to sit next to your date that feel intimate in part due to not having to see other patrons (with how the tables are positioned). They also have great tables designed for larger groups. The food is delicious and the service has always been exemplary! This is particularly important due the fondue dips being mixed in front of you."

"My husband and I wanted something different for dinner, and we were very pleased with The Melting Pot Savannah. From the moment we walked in, we were treated like VIP's, with the manager stopping to give suggestions and check on us several times. The food was amazing, especially the cheese and chocolate fondues. Everything was presented beautifully. The only part of the meal we weren't crazy about was the meat. It is a little strange to boil the meat, and we would probably choose the oil next time. The service was also outstanding. Our server was very knowledgeable, helpful, and prompt. Again, the manager made us feel especially welcome, and even called a cab for us when my husband mentioned that we didn't want to walk back to the hotel."

"Th food was fantastic, but the full 4 course meal was a bit too much food, and I can normally eat a lot of food. It's a great variety, but lots to eat in just one sitting. And it all tastes so good, you hate to waste any of it. Plus, it's not the type of food to take home for leftovers. I would recommend if you go here for the 4 courses, you need to starve yourself before going. The service is top-notch and every bit of the food is DELICIOUS!!!!!! There is not a thing I would change about this place. Great place for specials occasions. It was my birthday and they gave me a gorgeous box of chocolate covered strawberries to take home and they were fabulous!!!!!"

"Have always wanted to try The Melting Pot and I was very impressed. The first thing I noticed when I walked in is that they had a 100% rating from the health department! Make sure to try a "Savannah lemonade;" it was awesome. My husband and I had the four course meal and it was very good. We got the artichoke spinach cheese dip. It was good, but the cheese was a little strong for my taste. The entree was really good too (mix of meats with Mojo flavoring to cook with). The best item on the menu (in my opinion) was the melted milk chocolate and it came with a generous plate of fruits, cakes, brownies, marshmallows, rice crispy treats, and cheesecake. Overall, an excellent evening! We will definitely be back"

"A real experience. We had the 4 course. Each booth is very private and you feel like you are alone in the very classy place. "My son is a student at SCAD and had wanted to try the restaurant. I made reservations for 3. We were seated at a table with only one burner, because there was only 3. Two of us ordered the 4 Course Experience and the other order was the kids menu. It was very disappointing to find out we had to order the same cheese and dessert because we only had one burner. My son wanted a different cheese than I did and we also wanted different desserts. I felt as those we got cheated when it came time for the dessert because my check had "Dessert for 1" on it and I had paid for two. I wasn't impressed by the food or the seasoning. The food is definitely not worth the price we paid. I do not see me eating there again."

"This was strike two. We have had 3 good experiences and 2 not good. The first not good experience resulted in Jason (co-owner) calling to apologize. Many things went wrong that night but when we asked for more vegetable and dessert dippers (rice krispy treats) we were told we would be changed extra. Jason assured me that was not the norm and would not happen again. Well, it happened again Monday evening. We were celebrating my sister's birthday. My sons asked for more rice krispy treats and I was told we would be charged. No thank you. The food is WAY over priced and not all that great (especially since you got rid of the big night out). Most of the meat was not even seasoned. We go for the experience but will not return."

"All the staff was amazing. Food choices were a little overwhelming;once we figured it out we ordered an incredible meal. We felt like we were dining privately because of how it is set up. I forgot I was on Broughton Street until I stood up to leave. If you have a little cash to part with and want to forget Savannah for a couple of hours this is the place."

"I am always pleased when I dine at The Melting Pot. Each time I've gone, I've taken someone who has never been; they always love it! The staff are all friendly. One occasion, the owner happened to be in, and stopped by the table to make sure we were pleased. Will continue to return!"

"It was amazing. We had reservations, got there a little bit early. They greeted us warmly and with a smile. It was my husbands birthday which I made note to on the reservation. They told him happy birthday. They sat us quickly and quietly at a nice table. They gave him a birthday card that was signed by the staff, which made my husbands night. The service was awesome. The server was nice and sweet, informative, patient, and very good at her job. The manager on duty that night was great. He greeted us at the door and came by the table to check on us. The food was the best. It was such a great experience. We will definitely go back again. It is expensive, so it will be something we will have to save up for, but it is so worth the money."

"We enjoyed our experience overall. Nick was an excellent representative and went out of his way to bring me my credit card that I left with the check.
Unfortunately, I find the cost to value to be very far off the mark. Even allowing for the uncommon experience. We have visited 3-4 times in the past and perhaps my children will "persuade" me again in the future.
I was particularly displeased with receiving a bill with tip included and calculated after taxes. It was further disappointing to see that the 20% tip was actually 23-24%. I decided not to complain after Nick was so helpful. I also found it distasteful that for a refill on milk for two children that we were charged an additional 2.50 per."

"We've been to this location on 3 separate visits and each time we have had exceptional food and service. Their Cafe Mocha is an outstanding after dinner coffee, one of the best I've ever had!! We love the French Quarter with coq au vin broth as our entree, Fiesta Cheese as our cheese fondue and the pure milk chocolate for dessert. We also like their Sailor's Punch and Love Martini for mixed drinks."
