In the heart of the historic Leather District resides one of the city's most stylish restaurants. Sorriso offers authentic rustic Italian fare and a handsome bar area. Designer cocktails and selections from an all-Italian wine list appeal to the corporate crowd, while thin-crust brick oven pizzas work well for groups.
"We went before a Red Sox game so it was very quiet at that point. We went for the pizza and great beer selection and were not dissappointed. Pizza was fantastic and beer list was great. Our servers were attentive and friendly, we'll definitely go back."

"The food was good. Not great. And my water cup was kept full, however I hate it when a place doesn't bring us bread because they ran out. 7 pm is a bit early for that. The food was very slow to come out. I don't blame our sercer for either of those it just would keep me from going back between them."

"Loved the atmosphere and decor. Unfortunately, there were hardly any folks there, so it felt empty and discouraging on a Saturday night. Friendly but not quick service. Interesting menu, but taste didn't quite hit the mark."

"The service was terribly slow - we waited for 30 minutes for our server to notice our drink glasses were sitting empty. Food was fine but salty. Our previous experience a year ago was better but we won't be back again."

"Made reservations for 7 on Saturday afternoon and was pleased to get them at 7:30pm without any trouble. We were looking for something a bit off the beaten path - no North End, no Seaport for a change and it occurred to me Sorriso's location might work. The restaurant was not full this evening and we had a few drinks at the bar without being rushed to our table. When we finally did move to the dining room, we had a great round table that really made conversation easy. Everyone was pleased with the entrees and the service was top notch. The dining area got busier as the night went on, but there was never a time when it was filled to capacity. Not sure if it was an off night of the place just doesn't get the crowd. Recommend highly."

"Good lineup of beers, nice service people...Food is good but pricey. Open Table lists Sorriso pricing as $$ but IMSO it's $$$. Goes along with their $$$ neighbors, Les Zygomates."

"I had one of the best meals ever here. I had scollops with butternut squash risotto. Sounds like it would be a heavy dish but it was perfect. By far the best risotto I have had. The apps and other dishes including the swordfish! We also a big hit with our table of 5. The service was outstanding as well. Everything was timed so nicely. We talked about the meal all night. I can't wait to go back. We were lucky enough to be able to thank the chef when he came out. His name is Brian! Thanks again Brian!"

"Sorriso’s is a great restaurant and bar that does not get its due praise. It may be that everyone thinks of the North End for Italian food and if Sorriso’s was in the North End then it would be easily in the Top 10 of the restaurants in the neighborhood. However, few people think of Italian food in the Leather district, but they should. The things that make Sorriso’s great are the details that it hits: they bake their own bread, have interesting twists on classic Italian recipes (Oxtail Ragu being the best on the regular menu), and the beer and wine list is amazing. I can’t recommend Sorriso’s enough. Check it out for dinner or just hit the bar after work."
