"Another great job by Miles James and staff. Excellent, precisely attentive service, inventive offerings with a refreshing variety and all topped off by artistic presentations. JATM continues to be the place of choice for a multi-star dining experience; certainly in northwest Arkansas, maybe the entire state. Kudos and brava to the entire operation! "Great brunch menu and topped with mimosas to celebrate moms on Mother's Day! The potato wedge with warm goat cheese salad is easily the best merriment of warmth and crispness sprinkled with local flavor, Arkansas bacon flavor that is. The eggs Benedict with crab cakes sets your taste buds on a direct flight to Cape Cod."

"A wonderful meal in a setting that exuded tranquil beauty. The crab cake appetizer was delicious as was the gnocchi entree. The food was presented in a stunning manner as well. From the caviar with creme fresh, to the homemade breads, to the appetizers and entree selections it was all wonderful. I did not have dessert, as I could not stop eating the bread. I hear the desserts are a must so i will return for another meal and plan for dessert as well. I recommend this place heartily."

"My Fiance and I took My son who had just graduated from the U of A and his girlfriend to dinner here. The Restaurant was beautiful inside. We all tried different things and the food was outstanding. The presentations were beautiful, the portions were much larger than I expected, and the service was impeccable. I would recommend the five course with wine pairings if you plan on having wine anyway. Its a better value."

"No complaints re: food or venue;however, the surprise delivered by our waiter for our party of 10 to only accept orders at a certain value b/c of party size. This seemed a bit tedious for a restaurant of this caliber, and to not have clearly been informed of this upon my reservation was a huge disappointment. What sort of character is expected here? In which publications is the restaurant reviewed? Does reputation alone not draw to the restaurant a customer who will create a large enough tab that is worthy of the chef's time and effort? Does the restaurant expect a customer to reserve a table of 10 so that a meager water & dessert may be enjoyed overlooking another room instead of the mill (viewed by 2 tables in the setting)? Nonsense!"

"We were in town for a Questers Convention and made reservations for dining at this wonderful restaurant. The food was fantastic and the service was superb. Our waiter was very knowledgeable and attentive. I had the Ahi tuna with short ribs and not only was the dish great but the presentation was spectacular. My husband had the Scottish Salmon and this was also great. We would definitely return whenever we are in town as it is a very lovely quite place to dine."

"We have not had service like that in along time. Nick was our waiter but I felt that the hole staff was waiting on us for the evening. Our drinks were never empty and food was timed perfect. We asked for recommendations from drinks to dessert the staff was spot on. We dine at Ruth Chris on a regular bases there service and food is also above and beyond exception, I put James at the Mill in this class. Thanks to the wait staff and chefs for a great annaversry. We will be back soon."

"I ate at the bar on a relatively slower, and later (8:30) mid-week night. I had a very good bottle of wine and a steak. Several of the wait and management staff spoke with me and discussed the wine choice and other wines on the menu. I received great attention from them as well as good suggestions for future information. The chefs also shared information on the preparation of the meal I chose. Very relaxed and enjoyable experience."

"Great atmosphere. Excellent wine list and bread. Diners enjoyed all the wines, tasting menu and the sea bass. Multi lettuce salad was a total bore-lettuce from walmart and one other ingredient. For the price, expected each dish to be special and was surprised to having a hard time getting water filled. The decor is great to see, but for repeat business, prices are the highest of any in NW Arkansas."

"We were there for our 21st anniversary and it was delightful. Excellent service, beautiful cuisine, lovely ambience. My tenderloin was perfectly rare and the tortilla soup was the best this South Texas boy has ever eaten. Jacqui's sea bass was delectable. We'll be back as soon as possible."

"Extremely overpriced - went the day after Valentine's Day and was forced to purchase off a pre-selected menu at a preset price which we did not know about until we arrived. It was not noted on their website that there was a special menu for the weekend. If we knew that, we would have gone elsewhere. Spent over $200 for 2 people. It was not worth that much. The food and service was good but not $200 good."

"Went to JATM for Valentines Day. I knew it would cost alot, but we planned on splitting our appetizer and dessert so I was able to figure out how much it would be based on the online menu. When we began to order our food the waitress informed us that we had to order the $65 option that required two appetizers and desserts, which now increased the price of what we had planned to pay from $70 to $130. Then we got our food. They were out of rib eye, which my fiance wanted, and the shrimp pasta we ended up getting the pasta with shrimp, the smell alone was terrible. The warm choc cake was at best decent and the corndog was mostly just strange. Total price with the $25 tip they added was $171...disappointing, overpriced, will not be back."

"First time for me in Arkansas and I truly enjoyed this restaurant. I enjoyed my salad very much although my dinner guest sent her's back because she tasted sugar in the dressing. They took it right back and gave her a wonderful truffle vinaigrette which was the best. No need to add sugar in dressing, but I personally didn't mind it. My fish was delicious, loved the miso dressing. The caesar's salad was excellent. Altogether a good meal. I did not taste the dessert, but everyone else seemed pleased. I would like to try 28 Spring. It was just a bit too far away for us on that particular night."

"The wait staff is excellent and very helpful to less knowledgeable wine drinkers. The menu is filled with great items like the Szechuan style baby back ribs and the spinach fettuccine. I indicated that this was a special dinner for my wife’s birthday while booking my reservation and they added a single birthday candle to her homemade strawberry shortcake dessert, which was a great addition to a romantic evening."
