"I noticed this newer restaurant a year or so ago & thought about trying it. The on-line reviews were mixed, but when I got a $10 coupon for it, I decided to take a chance. My mistake!
The worst part was the service. Our waiter was friendly but seemed in no particular hurry despite the fact that there was only one other server besides him. When we arrived, the hostess was nice and brought us water. It took several minutes for our waiter to appear, and service went downhill from there.
The food (soup, salad and lasagna) was average at best (& the toasted ravioil was below average - mushy).
The atmosphere was cold, a large cavernous space decorated in red & black (kind of a tired Las Vegas look), which made out wait seem even"

"We have a dinner group that meets every Friday. Our group can be anywhere from 6-14, depending on who can come . Normally there are 10 , this Friday evening we had 9. The bar service was quick and friendly. Our table was spacious and our waitress was attentive and prompt. The entire service was great. Our food choices were enjoyed by all. Music started at 9, wished we would have stayed longer to enjoy that also!"

"We tried this restaurant because we had a Groupon and it was close to our house. Unfortunately I do not think we will be going back. The service was rather slow considering it was not very crowded at all. The food was not great at all and in general it was just a mediocre experience all around. I would highly recommend that they get a new hostess as she just seemed bored and made us wait quite a while to be seated because she was handling a take out order. Both of our entrees were too spicy. I had the Shrimp Orzo dish and it had way too much pepper. Our server did offer to take it back to the kitchen to see if they could fix it but at that point I just wanted to wrap up our meal and go home."

"Unfortunately, they lost our reservation, even thought they had called me the day of dining to confirm. But they were able to seat us anyway. I noticed immediately that the feel seemed to be a bit older, older crowd, older ambiance. The food was delicious, our drinks were great the service, the service was very good. If I was in the neighborhood, we would return."

"Two words, DON'T GO. Understand that reservations do not mean anything at this restaurant. After waitng over 30 minutes past our reservation time we decided to eat at the bar as it was after 9:00 pm. We had the veal picata and chicken marsala and the food was average at best. With so many better options out there I suggest you go elsewhere. With the exception of the hostess Amy, all of the staff was working hard but there were not enough of them. Would never return to this restaurant."

"The food was fantastic. Every detail from the bread served at the table to the vegetable that accompanied my steak, which also was cooked PERFECTLY. Every item had exceptional flavor with a perfect blend of spices.
The waiter was a little slow (he seemed to have too many tables) BUT we were NEVER without our water (very attentive bus staff) and our food (when we got to order it) came out in good time. Even though our waiter was over booked, he was ALWAYS friendly, helpful and added to our pleasant dining experience"

"Made the reservation, arrived on time, and was asked to wait, no big deal we would just go to the bar and grab a drink. Well that didn't go to plan. We sat for 10 min without the Bar tender even coming over to ask what we would like. We were then seated and the drink order was taken by the Hostess. Things were looking up. Not so much... 20 min later the waiter finally shows up and brings the beer and hard cider, non-twistoff caps included. He asked if we were ready to order. We never got menus, another 10 to get those. We had to get creative and open the bottles with the butter knives. We should have just gotten up and left, we then were able to flag the server down to get the check, another 20 min ordeal. We killed an hr, for 2 drinks."

"I made advance reservations for a special occasion and we were seated in the table right by the door. My steak entree was very pricey and I was extremely disappointed in the quality of the meat. It was very tough and charred and I ordered it medium rare, it was barely pink. I probably will not return."

"Steak was overcooked (ordered medium well) and tough. I did not send it back, but did tell my server. His reply was rude until I assured him I wasn't asking for another steak, just giving him feedback. Upon paying my bill with a credit card, he came back to collect the black folder and waited at the table while I put the tip in. All and all, I didn't feel welcomed, just tolerated. That was the concensus of everyone in my group. I will not be going back."

"I ordered a drink, waitor came back 10mins later to say. They where out of strawberries, then my food was bland, waitor never came back to see if I wanted another drink. Nor asked was my food ok. "One of those restaurants that could be good but misses entirely due to ambience. Straight-backed hunter green booths that are not comfortable combined with no tablecloth makes for a "I used to be a pancake house" feel. The food and wine were very good, the bar area very comfortable and the staff pleasant...but it misses entirely on upscale, steakhouse elegance."

"I came here with my husband and my parents who were visiting from out of town. We all really enjoyed our dinner selections. I loved my Reisling- felt it was one of the best Reisling wines I've had! We loved the bruschetta appetizer platter. There was a speaker above my mom's head, which made the music extremely loud at first, but later in the meal, it seemed as thought the music had gotten quiter, which was nice. Overall, it was a good experience and I would go back!"
