"I must say we were very surprised by the service and food quality...and not in a good way! For a premium restaurant, Ruths Chris at Harrah's Cherokee was very, very disappointing. Service was about what you would expect at a casual chain restaurant - not real bad but certainly not exceptional. My wife's steak was overcooked and dry. Nothing special about the sides as well. Compared to say Flemings, this place is not even in the same league. I'd save my money and go to a buffet the next time we visit Harrah's Cherokee."

"For the life of me I cannot remember the names of my waitstaff but they were awesome, professional, and did I mention awesome? My wife ordered tomato bisque soup, prime rib, mushroom caps, and a Long Island Iced Tea; and I had Lamb Chops, a loaded Baked Potato, and a Pino Noir from from Francis Ford Coppela's winery. Each of the proteins we ordered were cooked to perfection and the drinks were great. I have no complaints about my experience and look forward to my next dinner date to Ruth's Chris Steak House with my wife."

"One of only 2 good restaurants not only in the Casino, but in the area. Everything is just "very good" but that makes it 2-3 stars above all of the other choices. Service a bit rushed and waitress seemed to have an attitude about us ordering the dinner specials, even though we spent more than the cost of the specials on the wine. I've dined there several times before, always at the bar, and when I go back I'll eat at the bar again -- much better experience although of course food is all the same. Definitely worth the trip if you're at the Casino and looking for a good food break."

"The restaurant was laid out very nice and the noise level was quiet. The food came out on time but the plate was VERY hot. The shoestring potaoes were of a good texture but once you take them out of their wire container they go all over the place. The mushrooms were huge but had a great taste. Overall the food was very good, not exceptional for the price, and my Server, Chris, was excellent."

"It was the best dining experience I've had in a long time. The food was absolutely delicious. I need to mention that our side item the potatoes augratin was not hot when we ate it, but it was soooo good we didn't bother to mention it. Yes, the food was pricey for the average consumer, but it was well worth the money. I mentioned we were celebrating my birthday and was offered a complimentary dessert choice. We chose the Creme Brulee and they added berries at our request. We didn't think we would be able to finish a dessert because of the meal, but it was so delicious and lite we ate the whole thing. Treat yourself to a marvelous meal!"

"This is a wonderfull chain every one that we tried was great. Don't stay at the hotel or try the casino though. The hotel overbooks and you don't get the room you reserved. The casino has the tightest slots we've ever seen and doesn't offer free drinks."

"I was expecting to order a steak atthis restaurant and to pay a lot of money for it. The menu had a section for specials and a special 4 course dinner that was only about $11 above the price for the entree alone. The selections for the main course were limited to about 8 but both my husband and myself has already selected our entree when we noticed that the special included it. We received a salad or our choice, entree, side and dessert. Each course was excellent and the portions large, which we had not expected, we thought they would be smaller. It was a great meal and we will definately go back!"

"The overall experience was poor from start to finish. I contacted Ruth's Chris through their web site and received a reply with a Case ID#. A week later and haven't heard a peep. It is absolutely unbelievable from a restaurant that is enticing customers to spend $100/seat for a meal and they appear to have a "we could care less" attitude about whether you return or not.
I will not be returning since they are several other options in my area... Twin City is fabulous, Fleming's is spectacular, Morton's is unbelievable and Del Frisco's rocks the house!"

"I'm glad we made reservations in advance or we wouldn't have been able to eat at the time we wanted. Our server was beyond excellent. The best we've had in a long time. She was friendly, very knowledgeable about menu selections and made 2 good friends have a great dining experience. This is rare when 2 females are eating together. Eaten here twice and both times the food was excellent. This restaurant will be a must have when visting Cherokee."
