Tony's On Main
Tony's on Main Street is a family owned and operated Restaurant and Bar. We have two levels. The first level is a bar, restaurant and banquet room. This floor also offers a lunch buffet from 11 a.m. til 1:30 p.m. tuesday thru friday. Upstairs which was open in 2009 offers the same menu as downstairs, however is more of a bar atmosphere. We host surprise birthday parties in the game room and it boosts the only second story deck which overlooks main street. You can have dinner downstairs and come upstairs via our elevator and have after dinner beverages upstairs watching people enjoy a stroll on main street. Come enjoy our famous white chicken nachos or garlic shrimp, have a glass of wine and for dinner you must try our hand cut house tenderloin.

"Have gone to Tony's on several occasions and always find the food to be delicious. Service is hit or miss depending on the server and wait times can get long on the weekends. Food always cooked as ordered and kids love it here as well. It's definitely one of our favorites."

"Always a good meal here. With all the top steakhouses in the St Louis area, you wouldn't think a causual bar/restaurant like this would rank with the best, but it does. My wife and I go specifically for their steak, usually, although others items on a varied menu are very good as well."

"Tony's was an overall good experience. The waiter was very busy but did a very good job trying to make his rounds to keep us satisfied. The chicken nachos were awsome! I had the 6oz filet and it was cooked to perfection but I you don't like steak butter make sure to ask them to remove it."

"Upon arrival was met by very unfriendly hostesses at front desk. Had reservations but still had to wait like 15 mins. Waiter was pretty good. Food was good and came out fairly quickly. Overall it was ok but I think i will go somewhere that I feel more welcome! Front desk person also didnt day a word to us when leaving. Front desk staff shpuld sll be fired and dome friendly people brought in."

"We enjoyed a great meal at Tony's! It was a crowded Saturday nite but we were seated within 5 minutes of our arrival. Sooo glad I'd made a reservation thru Open Table! Our booth was tiny but comfortable. The salad was tasty and all 4 of us had different dishes which we enjoyed quite a lot. The atmosphere is intimate & comfortable. Prices were about what I expected. I would definitely return!"

"The service was friendly and efficient. For an Easter Brunch,the food choices felt very limited and the qulaity of the prime rib was not very good (tasty but very fatty). I've read good things about this restaurant but would suggest skipping the brunch and just go for a good steak."

"This was an amazing, authentic dining experience! We went as a group of 5 women on a weekend getaway. The menu was extensive and I can't think of another restaurant I could compare it to. The service was efficient and friendly and I can't think of a negative thing to say.I ordered the Mediga Madallions which was crusted filet medallions, seared and covered with a a creamy wine sauce of provel cheese, mushrooms and prosuitto! Some of the gals got pasta and seafood as well! Everything got rave reviews. We are true 'foodies' as well as 'wine snobs' and it all exceeded our expectations!!!"

"Regarding section 2, I really don't have anything to say. It was a nice place for an affordable dinner. Clean, a little dark so bring your reading glasses for the small print menu. The option to order 1/2 order of pasta was nice. Did not care for the sweetness in the butter. The garlic bread was good. salad was nicely done. my pasta dish arrived hot and steamy. I liked the creamy garlic sauce with a touch of marinara mixed in."

"The food was wonderful. I enjoyed my leftovers the next night for dinner. Everyone agreed the food was very good. When we came in though through the back into the bar area and the hostess area there was someone smoking, I was horrified that the smell would go over to the dining area. FORTUNATELY it did not as we had small children with us. I am waiting for the time when all restaurants and bars are smokeless."
