"We were pleasantly surprised and pleased with our experience at Steakhouse. Our party of four had two different steak dinners and two different seafood dinners......all were delicious! Not to mention our outstanding wait staff, very friendly and service oriented. I would highly recommend Steakhouse at Indiana Downs. We will definitely return."

"Everything from the service, food selection, food preparation, atmosphere, was by everyone's account, "Top Notch". Our meals were all cooked perfectly. The steakhouse really adds to the overall entertainment experience at Indiana Grand. We will definitely visit again and again."

"We had a very nice dinner, Stacey our server and Stephen the manager made us feel very comfortable and welcomed. The steaks were very good, properly prepared and the sides and appetizers were excellent. All in all, a very good experience!"

"Walter Hill's (husband) skillet sirloin steak was very good. Baked potato was hot. My (Mary Romerowicz) 9 oz. filet with crab oscar/béarnaise sauce was NOT!! Ordered medium, it was well done & mashed potato was cold. Steak and sauce was VERY salty & too much pepper. You do not ruin a steak with too much salt & pepper - had this happen before & forgot to ask for no or little salt & pepper. My dinner was awful. Klye gave me new dinner to take home, he's great.
We had 20+ dinners here in last 4 yrs. Good when it was Makers Mark. Last 2 yrs rarely had a good dinner, if it was steak scallops or lobster. Hoosier Park Casino Steakhouse is excellent. There over 14 times, always have filet & lobster & both our dinners were great."

"Food was Wonderful; great atmosphere; steak for two and appetizer was More than enough! Steak was cooked to perfection! Chicken liver appetizer was perfect as we waited for our meal - had a quiet table in the back - Perfect!

"I must it was very enjoyable in all areas. Our server Jessica was outstanding. The courses came in perfect timing. The shrimp cocktail was fresh and the horseradish was outstanding. My steak was cooked to perfection. My wife had the sea scallops, she said they where the best she had in years. The deserts were top shelf. If your a fan of fine bourbon, they offer all the Maker's Mark band. It is worth the trip, and you can't beat the prices."

"We have always had a great experience until this recent visit. We were told management was changed and could definitely see this, our experience was very disappointing. We were a party of 6 and 3 out of the 6 steaks were not cooked to our desired temperature and were way overcooked. The outside of the steak was charred and had a burnt taste instead of the most flavoral taste that we had enjoyed so much previously. The spinach/apple salad that we were charged $6.95 for consisted of only spinach. None of the listed other ingredients were included in this salad which is usually delicious and full of ingredients. We will not return to this restaurant. Our bill was approximately $600 and was not worth even half of that."

"The reservation for Saturday was fine as we were seated right away. It was a little cool for eating a meal. The waitress arrived okay and we ordered salad, wine, and steaks(medium rare) with baked potatoes. She brought the rolls and soon after the salads. However, the rest of the meal took quite a long time coming; she did ask if we would like to order another glass of wine. We did not because we were anxious to receive the rest of the meal. We probably waited at least 25 minutes and than were served. My husband's steak was just right, but my steak was well done. I had to go ask another server to find our waitress and tell her of the problem. She then appeared and took the steak back for another along with an apology."

"Very disappointed No Garlic Balls...those are your signature.......Now that you do not have the chip on the steak...or what ever it was called.....
We have eaten here at least once mostly twice a week since you have opened. Last night is the first time we never finished our meal steak was very dry...Baked potato's needs to be hot so they can melt the butter..

Kyle our server was outstanding as always great service...

Will never complain to the server because it is not their fault they are not the cooks.."

"The service was excellent. I ordered a steak and a salad. They also give you bread. The bread was the first thing to come out and after eating one slice of bread my salad came out. And just about as soon as I was finished with my salad the steak came out. I could not have timed it better than the staff did. My girlfriend couldn't finish her steak, so the waitress kindly asked her if she wanted to take it home. My girlfriend said yes; the waitress took the steak in the back and came back with it prepared to take home! The food was excellent. I Will be going back!"

"This was my first time dining here. I was with a group of 8, including myself and my wife. A buddy who had dined there before has been tring to get me to join him there, and by word of mouth our group grew to 8 people. The service was great, the food was fantastic, and we all left feeling very full and satisfied. The only MINOR problem I experienced was our server was at the other end of the table telling us about that night's specials, and it was a little hard to hear her, buth other than that, it was great, and I will be back."

"Excellent Dinner! I had Walleye and my wife had a filet that was actually prepared to the correct temperature. Drinks were fair our Bartender, Tara, was great. Despite the Restaurant being packed things flowed smoothly and we were impressed by not only the quality but the speed of delivery of our items. Whether you gamble or not this is a diining establishment to try."

"My wife and I went for Valentine's Day. The atmosphere in the restaurant is very nice and we appreciated the fact that there was a great deal of room between tables. This provided a quiet meal with easy conversation. The steak was excellent, well seasoned and cooked exactly how it was ordered. The accompanying mashed potatoes were somewhat average to below average, equalling that which is found in most cafeterias. However, this was the only downside to the meal. Service was very attentive and friendly."
