"Silo just keeps getting better & my husband and I were happy to see such a fresh variety of new items on the menu for summer. The goat's cheese & vegetable terrine was outstanding, as was our carrot/fennel soup & the lamb pate. We never miss the chicken liver mousse when they have it, and our server (always personable and knowledgeable) told us that the shrimp and grits were coming back on the dinner menu - HOORAY! Hot chicken is returning, too - yum!
Every meal we have a Silo feels like a special occasion - the outstanding cocktails, beautiful space, and quality locally-sourced ingredients make for a magical meal each time."

"Our visit to Silo's was a first time visit based on the recommendation of a family member. The menu was beyond typical and made for hard decisions regarding our choices. Since it is farm to table driven, I hesitate to choose favorites but will say, if the veal marrowbone is on the charcuterie option, get it! Our meal was delicious and hope to have the opportunity to visit again when we are in Nashville."

"Menu was interesting, food was good (not great) and was a bit pricey. Definitely worth a try, but I would probably go elsewhere if I wanted to spend $100 on dinner for two."

"Everything we ordered, from appetizers to desert, had fabulous flavors and everything was perfectly done. I got shrimp in my entree and they were wonderful, as shrimp can easily be chewy. The portions were quite large, especially the sides. We had to take home a box too because there was so much! Also the service was great, super super attentive! Loved it and will be back."

"So, this was our first time at Silo. Overall, we thought it was great. Especially notable was the Noble Farms goat cheese appetizer and the banana pudding. My entree of gulf shrimp and my husband's of rabbit were fine, not fantastic. We will give it another try."

"I made a trip home to Nashville for my birthday last weekend and based on the recommendation of a friend, decided to check out Silo for dinner.
The restaurant is a comfortable size with an open and inviting, yet cozy feel. We were seated at one end of a long table that was set for a party of 4 at each end...a seating concept I have always enjoyed!
Our server, Megan, was prompt, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable. She described the menu, beers on tap, and specialty cocktails in detail and with great enthusiasm. I enjoyed the Eastsider (a lovely gin cocktail). The asparagus soup was delicious. My entree: duck breast with farro piccolo and swiss chard was good although overcooked, buttermilk mac-n-cheese was PHENOMENAL! I will be back."

"SILO IS RELATIVELY NEW TO NASHVILLE AND HAS BECOME A "PLACE TO GO" IN A SHORT TIME. IT'S A LIVELY, FUN PLACE WHERE THE ATMOSPHERE IS ELECTRIC, THE FOOD GOOD, AND THE SERVICE FRIENDLY AND EFFICIENT.WE HAD THEIR HUGE BURGERS AND YUMMY MAC AND CHEESE--GREAT FUN AND A GOOD PLACE TO RELAX WITH A DRINK AND VISIT WITH FRIENDS."

"Service GREAT. Love layout/atmosphere. Food is binary, being either great or mediocre. Every soup I've had here has been wonderful. Charcuterie I've tasted, the chicken liver mousse is on point, non gritty, cooked perfectly & beautiful accompaniments, the rest I've had have been just okay. Don't bother with the deviled egg app, pretty weak. Confit salad was presented beautifully, but would have worked a lot better if chopped and tossed. Duck entree was overcooked (about mid well). Cornbread ($7) was dry. Greens ($7) were wonderful and large, though they needed better trimming. Dessert was pot de crème, lacked salt and substance, caramel bacon popcorn could have rectified this, yet too hard to incorporate into the pint jar it was served in."

"verything was perfect- great drinks, the mac and cheese and greens were the best i have EVER had, and the Chicken-fried rabbit was delectable. The portions were healthy enough-and we knew this ahead of time luckily- that my wife and I ordered two sides and one entree and had enough food leftover to feast for lunch the next day. AND they have very fresh creative drinks, including the most delicious old-fashioned Ive ever tasted. We got out of there with a ton of leftovers and didnt break the bank."

"We travel 10-12 times per year to most major American and also international destinations. Paul Cercone was a gracious host. The food was incredibly fresh. The vegetarian dish (I am not a vegetarian) was so irresistible, I had to have it. It's taste was beyond delicious and fresh. What an amazing take on local southern cuisine. Kudos to an incredible bunch of artists. You certainly fit into the artistic scene in Nashville! Vivienne & Gary"

"Our group of 4 enjoyed 1st Silo experience. The décor/ambience is very good. Menu has something for everyone. I had the cobia which was good. For me "Hanger" translates to "cheap cut" steak but the diner who ordered this had no complaints. Appetizers/side dishes were good/shareable. Try the chartuterie (ancient techniques for processing meat). Single malt scotches produced a mild surprise when the check arrived. Why not just list the price on the menu? Also, I invested time looking at the menu online before arrival, only to see changes when seated. Why not upload the daily menu to web site? I will likely return for brunch or sit at the bar for the limited but more affordable bar food. Valet parking is a plus in rapidly growing Germantown."

"After being seated at our table for less than two hours, we were asked to move to the bar so that they could flip the table. We had just finished dessert and my husband still had a full glass of wine to drink. Very rude and we will not be back."

"Highly recommended by friends, the atmosphere was cozy, organic and still a touch upscale. The service was perfect - knowledgable, attentive and not overbearing. Our course selections were good, but not as flavorful or as exciting as we hoped. The Asparagus Shiitake soup was very nice. The Atlantic whitefish that replaced the regular Grouper on the menu was good, but tough in places. The Gulf Shrimp was pleasant, but nothing special. Loved the creamy Grits with Bacon Jam and the Buttermilk Mac and Cheese sides. Unfortunately, the desert was a disappointment as the Lemon Pound Cake with white chocolate, strawberries and cream was a little dry. Something must be right, because you'll need a reservation."

"The food is delicious. But I was under the impression it was Southern food. I was born and raised in the South, and this is not what I would define as Southern food. It's good, but I felt I didn't belong there. I felt like I should have had my pinky finger up the whole time."

"We found Silo thru Open Table when we were hotelling in the suburbs. Well worth the Memorial weekend traffic. Friendly staff, gregarious guests, and wonderful food and wine choices. Best hanger steak ever, spouse's fish was light, flaky and served with great sides (my garlic steamed spinach and small potatoes were also special). Highly recommended."

"Silo does a great job. They tout themselves as farm to table, which is trendy now, but they truly are and the freshness and quality of the food confirms it. Service was excellent and the space is quite nice, laid back with a nice bar and a small patio. The menu changes almost daily but we had the Corvina, it was excellent, and also the pork chop, which was really good, and another diner had the shrimp, which was great. All in all a place I would definitely return."

"I was a little worried as the taxi drove through a rundown area is Nashville just outdide of downtown. But hidden on the edge of an area being reclaimed is this gem. It is a farm to fork concept that hits the mark. With an ever changing menu I am not sure you can get the same thing on different visits, however the pork chop and the shrimp were excellent. The menu is great for foodies with plenty of interesting combinations. The wine list is above average and their bourbon selection is outstanding. Service was excellent and the deserts were a perfect end to a great experience."

"We ordered the housemade sausage and deviled eggs 3 ways as starters. The sausage had good flavor but it was ruined because it came out cold and the eggs all had the same mustard taste - even though they were supposed to be 3 different flavors. I had the chicken and waffles and the chicken was dry and overcooked and the waffles were soggy - not crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside like they should be. My dining companion got the shrimp and grits. It only had 3 really small bite sized shrimp and the grits were not the right consistency. Skip the underwhelming brunch here and go across the street for consistently good food."

"This was my second trip to Silo. Both times were very good. Side dishes are enormous and must be shared. You can easily split them 3-4 ways with sizable portions. I have the Hanger steak this time, the burger last time. Both were very good. We have had the Mac and Cheese, Potatoe Salad and Greens as sides and they are all excellent.
In and out you will typically drop $50 a head, but for $16 you can have the burger so it does not have to be expensive."

"The food was great, innovative and of adequate portions. However, the overall experience could be easily tweaked and improved. For example, it would be nice to have some sort of bread brought out while looking at the menu, especially since it took a while for the food to arrive. Moreover, the water should be chilled especially on warm days. The waiter was not very attentive and seemed anxious to move on even when he was at our table. Silo has an very warm overall atmosphere. It has the potential to be a five star but isn't there yet."

"This gem in Germantown is so uniquely and consistently good - better than the hype, even. The space is just right - beautiful and relaxing - best lighting in town for any sort of gathering or date. The menu is great - diverse, delicious and forever changing with the seasons. Our newest discovery was the caramel pot de creme with caramel & bacon popcorn - still not over it!! Cocktails and wine list remain outstanding, and the staff is the best in town that we've enjoyed (including the amazing bartenders/mixologists - and that Bourbon collection!!) - Bravo, SILO!"

"Excellent restaurant in Germantown. Good wine/beer menu plus a pretty extensive list of specialty drinks (a la Patterson House). Great entree choices--expensive, but the price is worth the food. Open kitchen in the back of the restaurant, really neat wood interior. Don't miss the mac-n-cheese! The only part of the meal (wine, specialty drinks, app, entrees, dessert) that wasn't spectacular was dessert. Will be back soon!"

"This was our fourth visit to "Silo" for Sunday brunch. The ambiance is simple, yet refined and comfortable. The pottery used in their serving dishes is simple, yet quite nice. Vases with real flowers is an extra added touch. We have always had excellent service and the food is delicious. This visit I tried the asparagus soup that was awesome and I sent "compliments to the chef"."

"This is the second time I've been to Silo. The first time would have been five stars all around, but this time the food was a bit so-so. I had the duck and farro, which was pretty good. We had some sides for the table that were lacking. The jalapeno cornbread, for example, was incredibly dry and salty. That said, the service was awesome, and they took care of any issues we had with the food. Will probably go again, but won't be rushing back immediately."

"this is 2nd time we have dined here. this time for dinner the last for brunch. I still have same observations as last time, the food preparation needs some work for me. I like concept of farm to table, but our hangar steak was not cooked as ordered, the asparagus dish was not even cooked and the cornbread was dry. there are lot of great restaurants opening in Nashville and I believe if you plan on competing with prices near $25/ person you must execute. I like ambiance and service was excellent."

"The highlight of my own meal was a bowl of brussel sprouts. Quite amazing side dish. Doubtless the top dish at our table was the Southern Fried Rabbit. Apparently, those of us with means can now look nostalgically, if somewhat condescendingly, back on our humble origins. It was good food. I wonder if they offer squirrel? Locally sourced, of course. Our server was both knowledgeable and observant. I noted the presence of a smallish private dining room, which although a tad sterile, would serve a smallish group looking for unpretentious surroundings."
