"We ate dinner there on Mother's Day. I understand this is a bar and expect it to be on the loud side. This was 5:00pm on Mother's Day and the music was so loud it kept us from being able to speak to each other. The food was good but really only a burger bar. If you want a great whiskey selection, this is your place."

"Burgers are good and anything extra on burger you pay. The fries were very dark. Maybe over cooked? I had fish and chips. The cod fish was mushy inside, did not taste fishy and came with the very dark fries. This place is enclosed and very loud music. When we left my ears were numb. It was a Saturday and business was good. The Revel has other places to try. They have a Luke Paladino pizza place and the Cantina. Also, accross from the Wiskey bar their is a restaurant with fish and chips that was $2 less then the Wiskey bar. Their menu is small. If you want to eat at where you can hear your friends try another place."

"Always a great time. Warm greeting, terrific venue, friendly staff and terrific food, and, with something special for every taste. We especially like the pickled tomatoes and crab cake and chicken sandwich and on and on. Whatever you choose, you shall like it as the dish shall be prepared with great care. If you enjoy cocktails, this will be a special experience because of the care and ingredients used in blending the drink, along with the finest liquor you ever tasted."

"I was at the Revel with its ulta uber spots with Iron chefs etc. This one is under The Jose Garces label.
Its signature plate for lunch is the Village buger. I enoyed that but have had better at local spots.
THere were no fries so I ordered the tiny tatters -nice and crispy and not greasy. And for kicks had the dveeiled eggs and they were enjoyed but I prefer a different taste and flavor thats just me."

"Village Whiskey has become ome of our favorite places, nice room, great staff and fabulous food, at prices that are surprisingly low. it is so much more than burgers, although they are the best ever. The pulled pork sandwich with fried pickles and the crab cakes are among my favorites. The Cobb is spectacular and thr starter menu and bar food listing are just terrific. Libations a plenty with premium whiskey flights the specialty. Try it, and, this shall become your special joint."

"I'm not sure what they are trying to do here; is it a whiskey bar or a burger joint? The room is long, narrow, dark and noisy, lousy acoustics. There were a few interesting appetizers and a very limited main menu of basically upgraded sandwiches. The burger meat was very good but $3 for a slice of cheese or other topping! This menu is more appropriate for beer drinkers of which there was a fair but not extensive selection. The prices for the whiskey were outrageous, so high as to dissuade you from trying any. I would think that decreasing the price of the hard stuff including the sampling flights, and broadening out the menu with items other then finger foods might increase the popularity of this misguided concept."

"Located in the Revel, the Village Whiskey is a great place for lunch and I assume dinner would be great, too. Our server was pleasant and attentive. She got our drinks quickly and tolerated all of our questions and requests good-naturedly. The burgers and pork sandwiches were all great. Don't miss the cherry tomatoes appetizer which was pickled tomatoes with tepenade and mayo spreads. Really nice! Will go again when in AC."

"Village Whiskey is a great option for people traveling to Revel who don't want to break the bank on one of the other "fancier" restaurants. What Village Whiskey does, it does well. Burgers and fries are amazing and an endless mixture of toppings are available. If you like food typical of an English pub, this is the place for you!"

"We had a 8:15 reservation on a Saturday night. Upon arrival our table was not ready. They indicated the next 2 seater was ours. We asked if we could sit at the larger booth and they said no. We waited 30 more minutes and no table was ready. We again asked about the four seater which still wasn't being used and two addition four seaters opened up. They said no. While asking the two seater finally opened up. It took them an additional 15 minutes to prepare the table. They then sat someone else at the two seater.
