"The food is excellent, some of the best in the area. Chef takes a lot of pride in his dishes and it shows, unique and vibrant. Everything is made in house, including the goat cheese! If the service could be upgraded to reach the same level of the food it would be 5 stars across the board. The food makes it very much worth the visit."

"I have at the Acqua for several years now, primarily for lunch with clients..It is a great venue for this because the tables are not too close together and the noise level is just right so that we can hear each other without the fear of someone eavesdropping on our conversation.. The food is always excellent, the service is great, and there is a choice of either sitting indoor or outdoor. The outdoor experience is wonderful overlooking Mission Bay. Also, I find the chairs to be very comfortable which is hard to find with outdoor dining. I would highly recommend this restaurant."

"Acqua provided a very enjoyable dining experience for us while we were in town visiting family and friends. We would recommend it and definitely go back the next time we are in the San Diego area. We started out the evening on the patio with wine and appetizers. We then moved inside for an excellent dinner. Great selection on the menu and from the bar. After dinner, we moved our party back outside for after-dinner drinks and dessert. We enjoyed the very scenic atmosphere of Mission Bay while sitting around the large fire-pits provided on the patio. It was a full evening and one that everyone enjoyed and will remember."

"My partner's steak and fries were a little cold, but the Manager was going to take care of it but we didn't want to do that. So, he comped our desserts. Overall, a good expierence! :)"
