"I took my 87-year-old mother to the Inn for brunch, and we enjoyed it very much. The buffet had a good variety to choose from without being overwhelming for an older person, and the food was fresh and delicious. The eggs benedict were especially nice, along with the Mimosas they had on special. This was our first visit, but we definitely plan to return soon."

"Wait staff seemed overwhelmed with too many tables to manage. While the service was extremely slow, the food was well worth the wait. Prices are on the high side and ambience was comparable to sitting in the middle of Red Robin with way too much noise and not a lot of space between tables. The food was excellent but because of the loud chatter around you and feeling crammed in, I don't believe the entire dining experience was worth the cost of the food."

"My wife and I loved the Plumsteadville Inn!! First time there. It was our 26th Anniversary. Ate in the dining room by the window next to the outdoor garden/patio. Some music noise from bar area, but that night it was nice piano music. The food was excellent!! We had the crab cakes which were outstanding. I had the filet mignon that was excellent too. The restaurant is located at a busy intersection with a traffic light. Some noise from the road, especially trucks, so dining on the outdoor patio would be noisy at times. We will absolutely go back! Very nice menu. Great place!!"

"Reservation was available right on time as requested in the lounge, which was great! However, service was pretty slow, but not through lack of effort from our server. I just think there were not enough servers for the number of tables. Wine pours are pretty small, so I would recommend getting your own bottle or sticking with beer. Filet mignon and crabcake were good as were my wife's baked scallops."

"It was only our 2nd time there for Dinner. The 1st time we had the surf and turf. Both the steak and lobster were over cooked, but we hung in there. We enjoyed the atmosphere and felt a 2nd chance was an easy choice. But as luck would have it we orderd the same meals again and changed our desired readiness of the meat, but still received the same result as the first. Not to mention we were still eating our appitizers and or bread and a server flew by taking our NOT empty plates with out asking if we were done?? At that point we felt rushed. Our server was very kind and did an OK job of trying to be personable. I'm sure we'll try a 3rd time but will stick to a more simple fair and go to a steak house for the more delicate/expensive meals."

"We had the first reservation for Sunday Brunch at 10am. . However, we had to wait 20 minutes even though all 13 in my party arrived on time. We were seated in a private room. .this was especially annoying since we had four children to occupy there time. I was told the table had to be set. This seemed odd since we had a reservation. Salt and pepper were not on the table. After being seated we were not given any indication of what to do. This was a buffet brunch and I would have thought we would have had our drink order taken. there was an additional $3 charge for juice for the kids which was not communicated. Service got better as time went on. Food was good. I would go back for brunch."

"We were pleasantly surprised at the variety of menu choices for their Sunday brunch buffet and how delicious everything was. Everything was hot, fresh, and very tempting. We ate way too much. For the price, this is definitely a brunch we will visit again. We ate at this restaurant under the previous owners and were not impressed. We decided to try it again under the new owners and while they still have some kinks to work out (service), the food is terrific! Well worth a second visit!"

They seated us in the enclosed porch area, a beautiful setting.
The service was very efficient and we were never rushed.
All the entrees we ordered were delicious, ranging from filet mignon and
the crab cakes to scallops, chicken parmigiana and chicken stir-fry.
Salads were generously portioned and the desserts were decadent and reasonably
priced. Overall, a great experience!"

"Have not been to Plumsteadville Inn in 20 years. Loved the new decor. Simple but elegant with a slight colonial touch. That being said, we had a draft beer at bar prior to dinner. We took our beverage to our table. Our dinning partners ordered two drafts when they got to our very elegantly dressed table. Nice china, linen table clothe and napkins, their drafts were presented to the table in basic tumblers witty a Philadelphia Flyers emblem on it. So ugly for such an elegant room. Additionally butter for baked potato in small paper cups on plate. The Inn has come so far but some attention to detail and is a miss. Just cants get past dollar store level beer glasses. Also stronge after taste in water. Perhaps they need a filter"

"My wife and I went to dinner on a weekday evening. Enjoyed the meal quite a bit. Seated in the large TV room adjacent to the bar which was a comfortable environment. "February 16, 2013 was our first of what will be many great dining experiences at the Inn. When our foursome arrived 30 minutes early, we were seated immediately at a spacious table. We were very pleased to learn that the Valentine's Day menu was available. Our guide through the evening was completely familiar with all aspects of the menu, making excellent recommendations on wine and beer pairings. The capable cook staff delivered our entrees rare and medium rare as requested. I ordered lamb and got lamb, not the yearling other places have substituted.
Portions were generous without being over-filling. But we'll have to go back for dessert.
If they offer the portabella stuffed with lobster and crab, be sure to enjoy it!"

"We were seated on the "casual" (bar) side of the restaurant. The food was great, we had the prime rib and a filet. Exceeded our expectations! However, this was Valentine's Day and they had a live trio doing oldies in the bar area. They were a bit excessively loud, and some patrons that were not aware of the live music were noticeably disturbed. Another, lower key entertainer would have been a better Valentine's Day fit. However, if it were not Valentine's Day, and the volume was a bit lower, the trio would have positively added to the experience. The meal was great, we were a little surprised at the choice of entertainment on this particular day, but we have been there before and will definitely return soon."

"We made a return visit at Plumsteadville Inn. First, bottle of wine tasted like it turned. Waitress came back said nothing wrong and left the bottle. I then ordered a vodka and tonic with lime. It came with lemon and took 20 minutes for her to come back. We waited 45 minutes for our salad. When dinner came, I ordered entree with mashed potatoes, it came back with baked. The icing on the cake was when we were told they were running special on bottles of wine. All bottles had 15% discount. We had two $50 bottles ($100). When we looked at bill, they added 15% in lieu of a discount. We then requested the bill be amended."
