"Gianni's is always very busy on the weekends so make certain you place a reservation via Open Table.
We've been going there for 3 years and have never had a dissappointing meal. The food is always excellent. You could easily fill up on the oil, parmesan, garlic dip and bread they bring to the table before your main course! Serving sizes are large and I always bring home leftovers. I highly recommend the Chicken Picatta."

"A great alternative to the abundance of chain restaurants in the Deer Park area. Even on a Friday night the service was prompt and the food excellent. I'm usually drawn to my favorite spaghetti and meatballs and I was not disappointed with this option at Gianni's. The homemade meatballs were particularly outstanding. I thought the entree prices were a little high, particularly for pasta, but everything was very tasty and of good quality. We will go back."

"Great food, nicely presented, great service. Maybe 2 too many tables in a small area inside the restaurant. This caused backing into/being backed into neighboring guests and a noise problem. Since we were visiting the area, we do not know if outside service would be available during late spring-summer-fall thus helping the crowding and noise inside. In spite of this, we would not hesitate to go back when in the area; the food/service is THAT GOOD."

"the create your own pasta is a great option, 12 different sauces (gravies)to choose from, the Crimosa is fantastic, the olive oil with basil and bread is the best"

"Highly recommend this restaurant! I met a few girlfriends on a Sunday evening. I had the Chicken Vesuvio and the flavor was perfect and the chicken was so moist--no knife needed! While I thought the caesar dressing could have used more flavor, overall outstanding food. My friends enjoyed their Chicken Parm & Lasagna. Service was good, bartender and hostess was very friendly. Felt as if the neighboring tables were close enough to join our conversation, but for a small cafe it was fine."

"One of our favorite neighborhood italian restaurants. Clams are alway cooked perfectly. Salads are fresh and plentiful. sausage and peppers are the best. Enough for a dinner or for 3-4 to share as an appetiser. Pasta is always good. We love the meatballs. Gluten free pasta is very tasty and never gritty. Service is always good and attentive, occasionally too young to be experienced, but hey its a neighborhood restaurant."
