Every neighborhood needs a place like Urban Table: A multi-purpose destination for the local community. This modern American interpretation of the corner café gives neighbors an all day kind of place. The café provides a civil food system with a commitment to quality that comes from a desire to feed good people good food at a reasonable price. It combines the best qualities of a dine-in or take-out breakfast kitchen and lunch shop, and in the evening, a sit-down restaurant that welcomes patrons for unique small plates, charcuterie and fresh entrées or an after-work drink among friends from the impressive wine and craft beer lists. Urban Table is a testament to American food done right. The menu items are created with fresh, organic, seasonal ingredients.
"Our book club met there for dinner and discussion. While the noise level was energetic, we didn't have any problem hearing one another. The staff also went out of their way to give us a corner table so that we would have the quietest possible place to be. Our server appeared to be a rookie - things were a little hit and miss (forgot to offer us dessert, which was no big deal since none of us actually wanted any). Food, as always, was delicious."

"We went to Urban table on the spur of the moment Mother's Day evening. The staff had the look of battle survivors. Nevertheless, we got in quickly since we ate at the bar. The house Manhattan was too sweet, and the bartender forgot my wife's beer order. Similar problems came at the end of the meal when he told us there was one bread pudding left, which we ordered, only to have him not put the order in in time. They were very nice about it, though, comping me on a decaf and removing another dish from the bill. The good news is the food is great--interesting menu and everything we had was well prepared, despite the deluge of customers they'd had that day. We will return."

"Brunch was well done with a number of options for the adults. The kid's menu was more limited, but my 8 and 5-year-olds loved the banana french toast. My wife had a fantastic steak sandwich but the highlight for all of us was probably desert. Strawberry rhubarb tart and a blackberry cheesecake... yum.
Service was friendly and pleasant but not overly attentive. I would definitely like to come back at dinner time and see what they have to offer."

"This was our first time at Urban Table. It was a more casual atmosphere than we expected, which is great to know for future visits. The waitress gave excellent attention to my wife's dietary issues of wheat and dairy and we found UT to have many more options for her than we typically find. Loved the porch and the food was fantastic. We will be back!"

"This is a great place except the tables are just a little too close together. My significant other and I were hoping for a nice quiet dining experience, and ended up having dinner with the two tables on either side of us. They were definitely a little too close for my liking. The food was delicious and the service was great, but we'll choose a little less busy time next time. The noise level was out of control."

"Wrote an earlier review about how fabulous Urban Table is, well the past two visits "not so much"! They have changed the bruschetta. It used to be on really thick wonderful bread, now the bread is thin and just ok at best. The martini pours were laughable. Very skimpy! Just barely over a half a glass, and in a martini glass, that is hardly any. We even remarked to the server and she said "yeah I know". Looks like they are trying to cut corners and save money. Our entrees where good but not anything exceptional. Sadly, it will not be a restaurant that stays in our rotation, too many other places to go that give you great food and drinks. I don't mind paying a little more, i just want to feel like we get what we are paying for."

"Really great food, fairly moody server. This is where the yuppies go to drink their wine - you will see someone getting out of a Porsche with a sweater tied around their neck. All that aside, the food was super."

"Friendly, attentive service and a comfortable atmosphere. The pick-4 bruschetta were delicious. The rainbow trout was so-so and I really didn't enjoy the pairing with the braised radicchio, wild rice, and orange-sherry vinegrette. I like trout, radicchio and wild rice, but there was way too much acidity in this dish. Personally, I don't feel that wild rice or fish pares well with vinegar...instead it needs butter or oil."

"My wife and I have been fans of Gram and Dun for a couple of years now but had never made it to Urban Table until recently. We tried several starters, including a selection of bruschetta. Each one better than the last. The 'candied pepper bacon, diced tomato, fontina w/ a balsamic reduction' was particular favorite of ours. We also loved the 'Crispy Polenta w/ mushroom ragout'. As for entrees, she had the Mussels and I had the special which was a pasta dish with sausage, steamed mussels and clams with a tomato broth. Everything we tried was fantastic. We could not have been more pleased. And our server Josh, who we discovered also works at Gram & Dun, could not have been more friendly, pleasant and accommodating. We will be going back soon."

"Visited on Easter for the special brunch, we had a reservation which was helpful since the restaurant was packed. The food was fantastic, and even my teenagers liked it! The service was great, and very responsive. I would visit again, and I would recommend to others!"

"I love urban table. They have an awesome menu that is always changing with the seasons. Great food and drinks. Try the Urban Mule to drink. and the bruschetta for an appetizer! They also have an awesome wine list. Lots of good selections. I sat at the bar, the bar tender was very friendly and knowledgeable about the food and wine. It was a quiet night and he was able to talk to us about the restaurant and their other restaurants.
I would recommend Urban Table to anyone any foodie. Very affordable and in a nice quiet neighborhood."

"Urban Table is a restaurant with a great appearance, but unfortunately little substance in terms of quality food and service. My most recent visit was dinner for a party of eight, and the seating arrangement was awkward and uncomfortable. Our server was friendly, but demonstrated little knowledge of the menu or food in general, offering nothing in the way of suggestions or explanations. The largest disappointment, as with prior visits, was the food. All menu items sound delicious on paper and are described in tantalizing detail, but the end result is unsatisfactory. Execution ranges from barely acceptable to absolutely wrong. Stick with the other two concepts from this restaurant group, which achieve a higher level of quality."

"We enjoyed the resto itself as a setting; the food was good and well prepared. My only complaint was the noise level. We dined here on a Saturday night and the place was packed. It was so loud that members of our four top table had trouble hearing one another. A pity for a place with such a nice menu which was so tastefully decorated (except for that god-awful upside down table hanging from the ceiling)."

"We have been to Urban Table before and had much better experiences than we did on this particular night. I think we probably got a server that wasn't one of their best. The food was just OK this time, but has been outstanding in the past. We were out for a romantic evening for two and were seated at a table for eight. I even commented that we should of brought some friends. At the end of the dinner the bus boy dumped my silverware into the lap of my dry clean only dress."

"I am a vegetarian and was pleased to find several appropriate options on the menu for me. Both my friend and I asked to switch out some of the sides that came with our entree and they were very accomodating and didn't charge to do that etc. Service was quick and unobtrusive. Food was excellent."

"We had a spectacular time on Valentine's Day! The food was a treat to the palette and the wine selection was superb. Our waiter was very attentive and friendly. We realize it was an extremely busy night and we were afraid to ask for a different table, but I would suggest burning the flat, hard wooden chairs as they are extremely uncomfortable and almost ruined the wonderful evening."

"URban table is always awesome. Its our go-to when we are having trouble deciding where to eat. We went for Valentines day, service was a bit slower than usual but that was due to having a packed house. They had a special menu that day - I got the Guinness Braised Short Rib, which was fabulous. My wife got one of the salads. As always, everything was great. We will continue to go back again, and again, and again."

"We arrived at 10:45 for dinner reservations because they were available on Open Table and the server hesitated to seat us. He had to ask the chef, which the chef replied, "Kitchen is open until 11", so we sat down and rushed through our meal. I had the Chicken which was just decent and my partner had the Steak. The steak was just okay too. The ambience is open kitchen, nouveaux-farmhouse, it was nice inside and the patio looked comfortable. We may be back but much earlier. The prices were decent."

"I'm glad the food made up for the long wait to get a table. We had reservations for 7 p.m. through Open Table, but didn't get seated until 7:45. The staff was nice and apologetic, but it was still very frustrating and uncomfortable especially since I am 7 months pregnant. But once we were seated, the food was fantastic. The menu for Restaurant Week was superb and I was not dissapointed. I had the mussels, salad, mahi mahi and the cherry bread pudding. I loved every bite,"

"The food at dinner was indifferent at best. Having eaten lunch there, with good results, we would recommend this as a breakfast or lunch spot. Perhaps for sandwiches or bruchetta it would be fine in the evening. Our meals were poor and their drink list was very limited. The heat lamps they were using were way too hot after while. We will not go back for dinner."

"The table was small for three people. Felt like I was in the walk way, and was bumped frequently by passing waiters and fellow diners. The food was very good, but main course was brought way to early. Two of the three diners in my party were just starting to eat their salad when main course arrived. The mussles were the hightlight of the meal. Overall good experience. Will return"
