Aged for almost 30 years in the Napa Valley…
Since its beginnings as a local gathering spot over 29 years ago, Mustards Grill has blossomed into a destination for all who appreciate memorable food, superb wines and a warm welcome. Mustards food is Chef/Owner Cindy Pawlcyn’s mix of American regional dishes with global influences. The list of “Way Too Many Wines” represents the best from appellations throughout California and the New World.
Mustards is an American Grill, featuring flavors from around the globe. The wood-burning grill produces such favorites as Cindy’s famous Mongolian Pork Chop, chipotle –rubbed Quail, and the ½ pound Niman Ranch hamburger. The oakwood smoker fills the restaurant with aromas of BBQ baby back ribs and tea-smoked Peking duck. Specialties include Seared Ahi Tuna on sesame crackers and Crispy Calamari tossed with curried slaw. The eclectic wine list features hard to find gems from California, the American Northwest, & South America.

"We have been to Mustards many times and have always had great food. Perhaps everyone in our party was in a good mood because we had a wonderful time from start to finish! But what may have been one contributing factor was Rhys, our waiter. What a wonderful young man! I have asked his schedule because I will go back on the days he works, unfortunately I wish it were more than 1 night a week for those of us who work during the day.
We arrived early and had a little wait but had cocktails outside on the patio and walked the beautiful veggie garden, what a delight. We have lived in Napa for 35 years and Mustards has always been and remains our favorite!"

"Don't go here if you are in a hurry. Reservation was at 6:30. Arrived at 5:45 and asked hostess if we could be seated early. The hostess said she should be able to seat us at 6:00. After checking several times, we were finally seated at 6:45, a whole hour after we arrived and 15 minutes after our reservation. Very disappointed. Also the noise level was extremely high with their low ceilings and no noise abatement ceiling tile. Couldn't hear my seating companions."

"Mustard's is one of my favorite places to eat when I visit the St. Helena/Napa area. I make sure to visit! The menu has so many fresh, wonderful things on it that it's best to go with lots of people so you can order more things and try everything! My favorites include the tuna tartare, crab cakes (this from someone who really doesn't like crab cakes - I LOVE them here!!) onion rings, cheeseburgers.....I don't think I've had anything that i haven't liked!"

"Overall good experience but not the service that is expected in this level of a restaurant. Bread was literally tossed on the table and while wait staff was FAST passed, they need to slow down to attend to the tables. Food was good but less special than a couple years ago. Will likely try another restaurant next time in Napa rather than revisit this one."

"A little large for the main course portion sizes, but I guess that America for you! We are from Australia and prefer a little more elegant portion sizes. We were glad we came here and weren't disappointed (as we had been with Bistro Jeanty). Great service!"

"I had been here many years ago and loved the hamburger and fries. This time the burger had a smokey, bacon taste which we did not prefer. My daughter had delicious garlic lemon chicken. The Lemon drop cocktail was wonderful."

"Enjoyed our dinner; I have not been here in about 20 years... from New England. I thought food was good, but was not outstanding, especially given the prices. My calamari salad was excellent, but pasta special wasn't that distinctive. My wife asked for easy on the dressing for her Caesar salad, but it was heavily dressed.
I had to send back a glass of Gewurztraminer (one of my favorite grapes) because it tasted flat and dull. They were very accommodating to bring a new glass. However, newly opened wine was not much better and for $15/glass, not a good experience. The prices reflect the generous-sized pours and I applaud this policy."
