The gastronomic wizards at Three Kings have devised a menu of flavorful fare from locally sourced ingredients, served alongside 21 draft beers. Tucked in leather half-moon booths, diners nosh on culinary overtures such as the queso-enfolded chorizo nachos & captain crunch shrimp. Balsamic onion relish lounges alongside double-cut smoked bacon and blue cheese in the half-pound Three Kings burger. The marinated base of the grilled-portobello sandwich deftly pairs avocado with summer-herb aioli, and spiced apricot-and-date chutney does a flavorful flamenco around the Moroccan spiced pork shanks atop vegetable couscous. The impressive draft list satisfies hops-hungry bellies with dark delights such as Guinness as well as microbrews from around the country. Dishes and drinks tickle taste buds as diners lounge on the sidewalk patio, private courtyard or in the restaurant's cozy exposed-brick interior.
"My friend and I met to preview the food because she is bringing her family for a birthday dinner on Sunday. We sampled a few things and liked it all. The food is 'home made' not franchise food. The hummas was wonderful and my friend loved the sliders of the day. Delicious. I hear they have great burgers too so, I can't wait to go back when I have a craving for a good burger."

"First visit since the change from Riddles. Early Saturday evening, 4 four people. Our reservation was immediately acknowledged and seated. Beer selection quite good and menu appropriate for the venue and ambiance. Our server was courteous, but was repeatedly rushing us. Even before we were comfortably seated he wanted our drink orders. No sooner were drinks delivered he wanted our dinner order. Midway thru the meal he was asking to remove unused silverware and dishes. We had to ask him to stop pushing us so we could do what we came to do; enjoy a social meal with friends. Food quality and prices acceptable. Will return, but if we experience the same rushed service, then no more."

"This was the first time I had been to Three Kings, I live down the street and try to go to the Loop restaurants to support local business. I made the reservation the same afternoon on Open Table, and I was glad I did. There was a wait for walk-ins when we arrived at 7pm, but we were seated immediately. The place was a lot bigger than I thought, with a bar at the front, a narrow area of seating that opened up to a large room and a smaller room at the back. It was packed with mostly younger people and looked like a fun place to come with a group. We had the pickle chips for an appetizer, which were good, and I ordered the portabella mushroom wrap, which was messy but tasty. My husband had the Salmon BLT, he said it was a little dry."

"Excellent draft and bottled beer list. Food was a step above usual pub food, we had excellent burgers and both regular and sweet potato fries were quite good. Server was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about beer and seemed very enthusiastic about Three Kings in general, always a plus. We got in and out in about 1 hr, which was great for us as we had a concert to attend locally. Great new place on the Loop."

"We had a reservation for 10 people at 7:30 on a Friday; this is our monthly supper club. They were ready for us. We had a great waitress, friendly and efficient. Food was very good; all our meals were served at the same time. Great!"

"Loved the food - best burger I've had in a long time. Others has the pulled pork sliders (very good), and one of the chicken dishes, also very good. Decor was great, and the band playing in the storefront window was good. We wanted conversation and were seated towards the back of the place and the music provided a great backdrop. On the way out we stopped in the bar area for a bit to listen to the band, obviously a bit louder, but were still able to talk a bit when we wanted.
Will definitely be going back - have kids at Wash U. nearby and this will be added to our list of places on the loop at which to treat them to a free, non-cafeteria meal once in a while."

"Had a great meal before a show at The Pageant. Lots of fun items on menu. We enjoyed the Cap'n Crunch shrimp as an appetizer. The tuna sliders were awesome! I had a salmon reuben that was fantastic. Perfect for beer aficionados."

"My wife and I had dinner last Saturday and enjoyed it. We each tried one of the beer flights and then had a pint of a beer we liked. I ate the Muffaletta which was delicious and good portion size. My wife had the Paella which she enjoyed. A great night. We will definitely be back."

"We had reservations so we we seated right away, however, they were out of menus so we didn't get a menu for about 15 minutes after being seated. Waiter was very friendly and knowledgeable, gave us all of the specials. We ordered the potato chip appetizer which came with a cheese dip, it was great. Salads were excellent, with the dressing mixed into the greens not just poured over like so many do. Our main course was great as well. No complaints all the way around. We will be going back soon."

"The food was very good and the service was great. I send my reservation on-line and got a reply for my 6:30 seating but when I arrived my reservation had been changed to 8:30. The staff honored my 6:30 time but I was a little confused how that happened."

"One of the best Valentine's Day dining experiences! My favorite food is batter fried fish & chips and they have the best in St Louis! On tap selection also had my favorite. Looking forward to returning and trying their other dishes."

"Great experience: great beer selection, attentive staff, good food, good timing. We made a reservation via Open Table, and the table was ready when we arrived, which was about 10 minutes early. When we were being seated, we heard the hostess tell a customer that it was a 45 minute wait. I'm glad we made a reservation, and I'm glad that we went there."
