"Had some friends staying at a hotel close to New York New York and needed a breakfast restaurant to meet them. I pulled up New York New York on the internet and looked for "breakfast." The menu looked really creative and who doesn't like crepes. The nice part was that I was able to make reservations. Food was incredible, service was perfect and we were in and out within an hour. I would recommend this establishment and I will definitely put it on my favorite list."

"I met a high school freind there after not seeing each other for fourty years. I have been to Il Fonaio before at this loction and others. My recollection was that the entre's were much more "crafted" vs. "mass produced" in nature and taste. That said, the table was ready on time, the servers were average, and the food was the same. Not complaining, just ntohing special anymore."

"Needed a reservation for a party of 9 and wanted a good restaurant, but one that didn't charge the extravagant prices that most of the hotel restaurants charge. Il Fornaio was very receptive to my reservation, and very helpful in setting up and confirming the reservation. We were seated right away, and the staff was helpful and friendly.
We are from NJ, are of Italian heritage, and know high quality and authentic Italian food so we were surprised at how good the food was at Il Fornaio. We would definitely eat here again, and recommend this restaurant to others. The prices were reeasonable, as well."

"Service was very slow.The plave was empty and it took 5 minutes to come by. Brought bed and said he would be back in 5 mins with olive oit. My appetizer before the oil. My main course arrived before I finished my appetizer. The main course, steak, was luke warm and totally lacked taste. I was half way thru the steak before my server brought a steak knife."

"This was a great find inside of New York New York Casino. The food was outstanding with a wine list pages long. What was amazing was that this restaurant had the most at home type prices I had seen out of any restaurant on my Vegas trip. Wait staff was friendly and seemed as if everyone spoke Italian. Lots of fun, would recommend to anyone who loves pasta!"

"Started off with the calamaretti fritti with a spicy marinara. This was very good, lots of flavor. My wife ordered the linguine with mussels special. She found the mussels to be very good but the linguine was very bland. I had the fettuccine alla friulana with Italian sausage, mushroom, onions, tomato, and thyme in a cream sauce. This had no flavor what's so ever. The sausage could have been hamburger as far having flavor. After eating a third of it I asked for some red pepper flakes. Didn't really help. Service was fine but food was flavorless."

"This is a nice location inside the New York, New York casino in Las Vegas. The food was fantastic. Our server was the only issue. He wasn't very nice and seemed rushed even though there were only 2 other tables in the whole place. Additionally, it was sort of uncomfortable because the staff seemed to want to flirt with each other the whole time in the background (not everyone, but some)...it was sort of weird actually. It just didn't fit. But that was just our experience. I would still try this place."

"My husband and I went for a nice birthday celebratory dinner. We were in and out in 30 minutes. It felt like fast food and the entire staff was completely impersonal. It was a very disappointing experience. My husband compared his lasagna to Stouffer's. My pasta was good. But the prices were a bit high for the portions and it just didn't seem like anything special. It was pretty expensive for "fast food". Total bummer!"

"My friend and I were pleasantly greeted and quickly seated. My chair was very rickety, but quickly replaced. Our appetizers, salad and minestrone soup, were very good. Our main entrees were good, but for the price we felt they should have been excellent. Having informed the waiter that we were celebrating a birthday, he was kind enough to present my guest with a complimentary dessert (with lighted candle and song) that was absolutely delicious. The service was excellent and attentive with an Italian flair. We would like to return for lunch and try the thin crust pizza."

"We chose Il Fornaio as we wanted Italian food and we had a $75 MyVegas dining credit for NYNY. Overall we enjoyed our food. We just had a pasta entree each. I thought that $20 for a bowl of spaghetti carbonara that wasn't particularly tasty was overpriced. At most UK Italians this would have been $12."

"I wasn't expecting much from yet another Vegas hotel restaurant but was very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the fare here. After finding much of the food around town to be underseasoned and mediocre, I was happy to land at this "New York New York" Italian before heading in to see Zumanity. The spicy marinara served with the fried calamari was delicious, my ravioli was housemade and very nicely prepared and the service was professional and accommodating. I would definitely recommend Il Fornaio - its casual atmosphere belies its seriously good food!"

"I was not impressed with this place. Our waitress provided great service however the food was mediocre at best and I had to send my pasta back as it came to the table cold, then it came back after they had microwaved it. If I want to microwave my dinner I can do it for a lot less in my own home. Would not go back and would not recommend it."
