'Pomo Pizzeria Napoletana
‘Pomo Pizzeria Napoletana creates the truly authentic pizza experience utilizing the same simple methods that were practiced for hundreds of years in Napoli, Italy where pizza was born and perfected. Pomo's Pizza is produced according to the Neapolitan tradition where each pizza is a unique piece of art.
We combine the slow levitation method to produce our homemade dough, all natural ingredients, and the Blast-Cooking process for 60–90 seconds at 905°C on our wood burning oven imported from Italy to lock in flavors, natural aroma and moisture. This gives the pizza a soft and digestible crust, which is the signature style of a true Napoletana Pizza.
Our pizza is made from slow-rising sourdough with a minimum of 24 hours in the rising process.
We are proud to be the First and Only APN Associazione Pizzaiuoli Napoletani and VPN Verace Pizza Napoletana certified Restaurant in Arizona. We take Neapolitan pizza seriously and you will be able to tell with every taste.

"We went because of reviews that raved about the pizza. Our group of 5 arrived on Saturday night at 6 pm. We sat inside, although outside is probably preferable. All had pizza which was delicious and we shared a salad. We asked for recommendations on wine and enjoyed 3 bottles at reasonable prices. Service was OK until the restaurant filled up around 7:30 pm when our waitress became very busy. We didn't mind as we were not in a hurry. We would have preferred no background music, however almost every restaurant we visit has "musac" playing for no apparent reason these days. We enjoyed 4 desserts and 4 coffees. Total bill came to $216 without tip. We will return."

"Making a reservation was necessary as they were very busy. This clearly a popular restaurant. We were seated promptly at our reserved time. The food was excellent, our only complaint was that our salads and main course were brought out at the same time. The salad was big and by the time I got through it the main course wasn't as hot as I might have liked. We ordered desserts they were also very good and these were delivered at the right time. I would recommend this restaurant to any one who likes pizza and good Italian food. We would eat here again."

"Very attentive service and great pizza. Our waiter was really outstanding and friendly. I had the margarita pizza and my friend the Buffalo. Both were wonderful, fresh from the wood fired oven. Accompanied by a nice Pinot Grigio to celebrate my friend's birthday. Our waiter brought complimentary beignets with a candle for the birthday girl. Overall, a wonderful, delicious experience and we will definitely return!"

"They consistantly fail to have our table ready on time even though we have reservations. They are frequently running behind by as much as a half hour. If you requested an outdoor table in your reservation, you probably won't get it. Some of the problem is they give the dinners too little time between reservations. Their service is very slow on weekends and when the weather is nice. Its like they schedule people an hour and 15 mins apart for a table, but their service takes two hours. The pizza is amazing, but be aware of their flakiness when you make reservations especially if it is for something important."

"When you take a bite of this pizza, or anything else on this menu, you will think you are dining in Italy. This is not like your usual American chain pizza restaurants - the thin crust and homemade sauce and toppings are so fresh and delicious and there is a wide range of toppings - the special pizza of the day was shrimp and escarole which was very good. We were visiting from Chicago and stopped twice in one week the pizza was so amazingly like those in Italy."

In the 2 hours we were there (yes, it took that long) the manager visited every table at least twice, but never once came to see us.
In fact, h2 visited the table right next to use 3 times, since a two different couple sat there before we even got our meal.
Too bad we don't speak Italian. The manager practically bent over backwards when his Italian friends showed up. I think most of our servers attention went to that table. Unfortunately, the showed up after we were already there an hour..
