Prepare for a dining experience unlike any other. Watch as your personal chef performs the ancient art of Teppanyaki. Listen as razor-sharp blades slice through tender steak and juicy chicken. Take in the aroma of sizzling shrimp, lobster and savory vegetables.
Or visit our sushi bar, where your sushi chef will prepare fresh nigiri, sashimi and specialty rolls, all with the same flair that made Benihana a legend in Japanese cuisine.
"A very nice place. Went for a birthday dinner of 4 people. The staff took a picture of our group and gave it to the birthday girl for free. The food is quite pricey, but the food is great. They don't do as good a show as they once did, (no more fire) but still fun. A great place for a special occasion."

"At the beginning of the dinner, I told them that I intended to use the $30 birthday coupon they sent me, and they nodded in acknowledgement. At the end of the dinner, they pointed at the fine print on the coupon, and told me that I had ordered the "wrong" entrée, so I couldn't use the coupon. This ended a nice little celebration on a sour note."

"Good solid tappan yaki dinner. Presenter / cook was very personable and service was attentive and fast. Sushi appetizer tasted like it had been made sometime earlier but still tasty. Lots of families and kids having birthday parties but not intrusive on those just out for dinner. Good experience overall."

"It was our first time to this restaurant and we did not know much about the quantity and what to order. So, we asked for help from the person taking our order. He basically read out the menu to us without explaining. I know english and could have read it myself. Also, we were a family of 3 (husband, wife, son). We ordered 2 items from the menu that said included steamed rice, soup, salad, green tea and a shrimp appetizer. We were made to order a fried rice, which we ended up doing. They served us 1 steamed rice instead of 2. We had to ask the waiter every few minutes to bring something. They did not even give us the tea that was included in the entree price. We had to ask for everything. Quantity was very small compared to the price."

"I've been to a number of Hibachi-style restaurants. Though our cook was pleasant and the servers kind, the show was not remotely impressive and relied more on the banging and clicking of spatulas than any real talent. Most of our party ordered combo meals that included a meat and shrimp. My father, who loves shrimp, paid just as much for his meal as we fir ours, yet his full meal (called Colossal Shrimp) had the same portion of shrimp as the portions of shrimp included in our combo meals. Thus, between the portion he received and the mediocre show, we were not impressed. Finally, the few servers were stretched thin, resulting in spotty service."

"I took my girlfriend here for our anniversary. The staff was very nice, the show was excellent. My only compliant is that the lobster was under cooked."

"We were treated very well. We had two small kids under 3 yrs. old and the staff was very accomodating to our needs. The food was great. They made sure that everyone's needs were met. The chefs were very entertaing as they did they routines, the kids were mezmerized. My daughter needed a gluten free dinner and they accomodated her very easily."

"Much to rowdy of a crowd at the table next to us - families all around but this table's conduct was obnoxious and using language inappropriate for the setting. Management did nothing. Food was ok quality wise but more expensive than comparable chains. The habaci chief was an amateur. Frankly not as good as Sakura on price, quality, or environment. Our waiter was very good."

"Our "chef", Fernando, was not the best at keeping the spinning utensils under control, but was friendly and made a good effort. If you are thinking, Hey! Fernando isn't Japanese.", you'd be right. There was nothing Japanese about any of it including the staff."

"The food and "entertainment" was great. I would prefer for the servers to wait until all are done their main course before they clear the dishes/table for those that have already finished their meal. It makes the others feel rushed and uncomfortale and they wind up not finishing and enjoying their meal."

"Fun teppanyaki restaurant good for kids or groups - not an intimate setting. The place is large and was busy but got us in and seated on time and we never felt rushed. Would definitely consider it again if we're in the area."

"The food was very good at Benihana and this is not our first time coming to this restaurant. Our son who is eleven year old loves the food and insists that we go to Benihana. We usually sit in the table where the chef prepares the food in front of you but this time we chose to sit in the lounge. We happen to sit close to the prep table and was not happy about seeing the cooks eating as they were cooking. Since I work in the food industry, it was really gross for me to see the person cooking my food eating edamame and drinking as she was cooking. This is the basic discipline that the team members must follow while they cook and I was mad that I had to witness it."

"I loved my experience at Benihana. The food and customer service were very good. I was pleasantly surprised to see the restaurant packed with diners on a weeknight. I will definitely patronize this restaurant again."

"We went here for Valentine's Day and we have had great service in the past. The food was cooked in front of us and our zuchini and onions were burnt also our fried rice was burnt. The meats were far better than the other courses. The artistic work of the chefs were kept at a minimum, I think this was due to how busy this restaurant was on this popular day."

"Had high expectations for this place from reading the reviews...chef entertainment, food (although quality good), waiter, and atmosphere were disappointing. We are a family of 5 and we prefer Sakura in Fair Lakes over Benihana."

"Our Valentine's night dinner would have been so much more enjoyable had the young couple at our table chosen a different night to take their two very loud and hyperactive children out to dinner. It was even one of their birthdays and they were upset that it was so busy. Very hard to be amused or ignore them as one child ate off my plate -once-. Next time I'll decline that table and take chances on the next table."

"I went for lunch with a friend.... we were still eating and our server came three times to ask us if we were done. the restaurant was almost empty and there was no waiting line and we had just been sitting for 45 mins. also he came back and just places the check infront of us while we were still eating.... that it's very rude.. loved the food but horrible service."
