"We enjoyed the food but the service from the waitress was not great. She appeared aggravated and did not smile - just was not warming and welcoming. After finishing dinner, it took her 30 minutes to bring the check. We tried to get her attention several times but she kept walking by the table. We watched how the staff half cleaned other areas and was not impressed."

"i made sure . I told the waitress that it was the birthday of my faincee and specifically I asked for cake for her. After waiting for almost 1/2 hour after the dinner is finished still no cake and was told by the waitresses that she was not told. I thought it was not appropriate. FOtherwise food aok. My bad experience is in the one at Miami , the experinec I had it in dofferent places ( dallas) was good"

"Benihana is our favorite restaurant. The food is incredible and the service is on point and fantastic. Our favorite chef is Louis he is a phenomenal hibachi chef with a wonderful personality and a unique flair that adds hilarious moments and a dramatic flair. We ask for him specifically because he creates incredible meals and memorable experiences. The managers are attentive and friendly. We will keep coming back thank you benihana for being great!"

"The food was excellent and the chef was wonderful! My only bad experience was with the host that evening. I reserved a table for 5 but at the last minute we had one more guest come with us to celebrate a birthday dinner. He reamed my family and embarrassed us by harshly saying that we didn't inform him of the extra person. We also have a 9 month old so we requested a high chair which he did not bring. I had to ask a manager for a high chair. We requested to sit at one of the several open table by the windows so we could see the beautiful views of the bay. The host said that was not an option for us because we added 1 person without telling him. Although we did tell the other hostess. He was extremely rude and made the visit unpleasant."

"The smell of the restaurant I think is due to its age in general and the carpet in particular. Upon entering, we almost turned around and left but decided to give it a try. The big surprise was the food, which was the best for this type of restaurant. I have been to many other similar restaurants and the food here was a notch above. If they could get rid of the odor and spruce up the interior a little, this would be so much better in terms of the experience."

"This location always seems to have lots of unruly kids and I've never had really great service (slow, not friendly, etc). The good? Food is always yummy and it's on the water for a nice view if you go earlier in the evening. The chefs are all pretty good too, and very friendly with the table."

"Hi - we have visited the Miami Beach location many times during our winter stay and love it. Our family always requests that we go to Benihana during their visits. The food is always delicious and fresh. The only negative is when additional guests are seated at our table and use their cellphones through our entire dinner experience There really should be a sign or hostess that walks around asking patrons NOT TO USE CELLPHONES DURING DINNER. It is rude and we hear the entire conversation. It spoiled our family time. This has happened several times BUT - - we continue to come back."
