"Food was great and great for kids!! My kids are picky eaters, but because they got to experience a show, they enjoyed their food and ate everything up!! It was nice for my husband and I too! Stress free... Even with other guests we did not know sitting with us."

"Although the food was good, our hibachi chef was glum and looked miserable. Beyond confirming our orders and thanking us at the end he did not speak unless spoken to. When asked about the calamari (part of one of our meals) - specifically "was it calamari?" since none of us had ever seen it in a 3x3 block before (we think it was a white-fish) - he answered "I have no idea", never offered to ask the kitchen.
We have taken our kids to several hibachi style restaurants, including Benihana previously and we all were expecting some banter or excitement. The lag time between serving the various main dishes from the grill was 20 minutes, which i found usually long."

"Changed our reservation time last minute and the restaurant was able to accommodate us without any problem. Service was a little slow due mainly to the fact that all the hibachi chefs were busy cooking for other tables. We were compensated however with appetizers while we waited. Very well prepared meal. Better to go with a group if you want the hibachi atmosphere. Overall great experience."

"I took at few kids to Benihana to celebrate a 13th birthday. Overall it was OK. I think it would have been more entertaining to have another "lively" group at our table. It was difficult to have a family with small children and teens at the same table. The teens were well behaved, but I still felt we were imposing on this family.
The food was OK for the purpose we were there. I would not recommend it to a "foodie" or a couple looking for a romantic night. It's more suited for a first date."

"We had Josh as a chef. He was great. Food was great. However, menu was very pricey!!! I spent 135 for dinner, I hardly consider the food tasting good enough to be that costly.
It would also help for the hostesses to be a lot nicer. We had a 6pm reservation, I ran late but my friend checked in. When I got there 15 minutes late, the hostess hadn't even checked off "on the board" that my friend was waiting at the bar. The system to seat people needs adjusting, and the people that are doing the hostessing need to be empathetic and service oriented."

"A Benihana is a Benihana right? This one is bigger & nicer than any I've been to. Great mixed drinks, better than average beer selection, prompt service, friendly staff. "Once seated took forever for chef to arrive im talking about 30-40mins i asked waitress for a lemon for my water about 4 times until i just got up and went to the bar to get lemons myself as well as a man at our table asked for another beer about 3 times and he did the same. My drink was terrible suppose to be a mango mojito i sent it back for a non alcoholic strawberry lemonade which took about 10 mins to come. When i asked why everything was taking so long i was told they were short staffed.uuum honestly that shouldnt affect customer service. Will not be returning"

Food was good. However, our server really ruined the experience for me. She was so slow and everything took forever. Everything we asked her for she had to go ask someone else if she can or can't do. She gave us our check combined with another family that was at our table that we didnt even know! Drinks weren't filled till we pleaded with our chef to go look for her.
And the icing on the cake was that I specifically put that to my daughters birthday on my reservation and she proceeded to forget and I had to tell her to please sing to her and provide a candle."

"The waitress was not very good. She asked if it was a first time visit for anyone at the table and we all replied yes. I don't know why she bothered to ask. She didn't explain anything. Hot tea and dessert were included with the meal for Valentine's day but, she brought out the checks for each of the couples at the table as soon as dinner was over. My husband and I were there with my sister and her husband. The other couples left but, my sister went up to the front desk and asked why we weren't served tea and dessert? They apologized and a different waitress served us hot tea and dessert. It's really a shame the other couples missed out because we had a terrible waitress!"

"We decided to bring the kids here and it was a fun night out. Unfortunately our waitress seemed to get some tables on the other side of the restaurant somehow and she would disappear for 20-30 minutes when we ordered additional drinks. I asked three different people for a spoon for my tottler and 20 minutes later just got up and got it myself from the bar. We then waited 30 minutes for another drink after ordering. The server apologized but I would expect better service."

"The table where we were seated did not take into account the 2 high chairs my party needed. We also had to wait about 25 minutes for our drinks to come. The hibachi chef took about another 30 minutes to come. He did not seem very enthused and did not do certain tricks I've seen at other hibachi restaurants. To top it off, certain pieces of the chicken were chewy. I thought it was me but another guest that sat at our table also mentioned the weird texture of the chicken."

"It was Sunday at 5:30 pm and they were already out of things - their colossal shrimp and instead they were substituting their smaller hibachi shrimp. All out of the kids menu which has activities on it for the kids to do. I had a reservation but still got seated over 15 minutes later than my reservation. Service was slow and there were plenty of empty tables that night so it wasn't the crowd, just not staffed properly. It was my daughter's birthday (which they did ask up front). They did not bring her dessert with candles, etc. They did for me last month. Third time there in the last two months. First two visits much better and had a great time. Not so much on this visit. Considering taking a break from going here for awhile."

"If you're looking for a fun authentic hibachi restaurant.. Do NOT go here. Our chef was hardly skilled enough to perform the basic of hibachi tricks/moves. The food was ok but nothing to write home about. Rethink your dinner plans and seek out a different hibachi style restaurant."

"Mr. Pang was our chef, and he was excellent! Watch out because he has tricks up his sleeve! The food portions were generous. I even had enough to take home. I was surprised by the birthday Sunday presented to me for desert, and the birthday song sung by our waitress Tema, and several others! That was a very nice touch."

"The experience left us feeling that it was just not worth the price. Service was slow and the time we were there was about two and a half hours. Our cook was new and inexperienced and not all that friendly. My wires diner came with shrimp but thet brought chicken instead by mistake. They fixed it later on.
When the bill came they charged us for something that the menu said was included (the waitress was new also) so that had to go back and be fixed.
Just a little too much $$ for a bunch of banging of silverware.
The Chateau Briand was very good and almost cooked perfectly.
I almost ordered a carafe of wine and good thing I did not because they have mini-carafes. I've never seen such a small amount of wine for $10.00"

"Overall, it was a great experience. Considered to be dinner and a show. People need to know what they are in for before they attend. If you are hungry before you go, this is not the place for you. Focusing on the art of food preparation and style over quick service. Also, make sure you're ready to rub elbows with people you don't know unless you bring a group large enough to occupy a full range.
Wonderful social experience, great atmosphere, however a little pricy."

"My wife and I have gone here before. We have also gone to many so called sushi restaurants in the surrounding area. I would have to say that Benihana's sushi is by far the best out of all. The fresh ingredents and color presentations make for a wonderful experience. Furthermore, you can't beat their prices. You can expect to pay more at the surrounding restaurants but I feel that the quality will be lacking."

"Benihana was a great spot for my kid's birthday. We really enjoyed it, the staff was great the only thing about this restaurant is the price. It is pretty expensive for a family outing. It cost us 150.00 for 2 adults and 2 kids."
