"This was my first experience for this hibachi restaurant. It was recommended to me and needless to say it will be my last time that I will go to this restaurant. The service was absolutely poor and the chef was slow as a beginner. Anytime I have to flag down someone for service, this is a no no. I will stop here, if I continue it will only make the restaurant look that much worse."

"The food we ordered was deliscious. But I won't go back due to the service, we were rushed the minute we all sat down. After dinner our meal came with ice cream and tea, which I could not enjoy, because they handed us the bill and four different people came back to ask if it was ready, finally I opened my mouth and told them, that we are trying to enjoy our dessert. Its nit lije we were there long ir anything, we arrived and seated at 1230 & finished everything by 105, give me a break, I will never go back, I rather go to a restaurant and spend my money and enjoy my stay without being rushed."

"Disappointed at the amount of the portions we received. Another impartial dining guest at our table complained to the food preparer about the same issue. I ordered a glass of white zinfandel. It was served in a small carafe and for what I received, I didn't think it was worth the $6.75 price. I don't think we'll be returning."

"The chef added a lot to the entertainment as he was very skilled and the food tasted very good. However, our group of 11 was very crowded around their largest table so there was very little elbow room. Also, the portions were very small for the amount charged. The New York strip was very thin and the tofu steak very overpriced. The noice level was very loud and you could not hear yourself talk."

"We made our reservation on-line the day before. Didn't get seated until an hour after the reservation time. There were a few other annoyed customers that had to wait an hour also. Other than that it was OK. I don't think I will go back though. It seemed like the restaurant was trying to accommodate too many customers at once. I got the impression that they were double booking the reservations."

"My husband and I celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary here. My husband had never had Hibachi and always wanted to experience it so I surprised him with a dinner at Benihana. We arrived promptly at 6pm for our reservation and were seated immediately. What a wonderful experience that ensued. The ambiance was fun and lively. Our Hibachi chef, Selvin, was terrific! Very entertaining and the food was delicious. The servers were very attentive and very friendly. Our evening finished with a complimentary dessert with a candle while the staff sang an anniversary song to us. Such a great experience and we had such a great time. We're going back with the kids next month as this is something we want to share with them too. Highly recommend!"

"Benihana has really cut corners. They have downsized their rice bowls (rice is so inexpensive I do not see why). They have also stopped serving water without asking for it, but seems to have wine glasses on every table. This puzzles me. They have also downsized the scallops and the shrimp. I still truely do not understand why ice cream is not included in every meal like all other non-chain restaurants of this type. If I am buying lobster, shrimp and scallops or double lobster tails, should that price not include the dollop of ice cream they give you? It is hard for some in the party to be eating ice cream in front of others without ice cream. It seems rude."

The chef was interactive with the kids in our group and showed alot of energy with the kids. "I have always loved going to Benihanas, I have been to multiple locations. However, this location I will not return to again. I made a reservation but was not seated until 50 mins AFTER the reservation time even though I was there on time. The chef was less than friendly and the whole staff seemed discombobulated and relatively unfriendly. The food wasn't as good as it is at the other locations I have been to, although the chicken was fabulous (I had teriyaki chicken), but the fried rice was not seasoned as well as usual. Overall, I would not recommend this location to anyone. Even the other party at our table was commenting about how the other Benihanas they had been to were better."

"The food was all pretty good, though it was all a little too salty (especially the soup). The chefs did a good job of entertaining the table, especially the kids. The support/service/bus staff were very prompt and helpful."

"We have not been to Benihana's in 2 years. It has changed. For the cost of the entree's, $25-$40, you would expect a bit more ambiance and not feel rushed. Having 4 kids, I am all for family friendly....but kid menu's, gym shoes and tee shirts at a $33 a plate average will not bring me back. It really seems that they are looking for the profit and not the food experience. If I am spending that much again, I will be choosing elsewhere to go."

"There is a certain comfort in watching your food be prepared in front of you, knowing that it is being done right.
To watch the chef is not only entertaining, it is also educational in how the food is prepared.
Veggies over here, meat in this area. How everything is organized in the cooking and kept clean between courses.

"This was our first time going to dinner at Benihana's. It was wonderful food but I didn't leave full. I should have ordered more food or a combo plate. We would go back. The presentation on the grill was refreshing and the cook smiled the whole time. He looked like he was having a good time."
