"I met up with a friend for lunch this week at this Benihana location. Although we had a reservation at 1:30 we were not seated until almost 2. We waited another 10 mins for a server to come and another 30 for drinks. Water was not brought to the table in the meantime and we had to end up getting up ourselves to go to the bar and get our own glasses of wine. The food was good but not worth the wait and the server, although gave us a percentage off of the meal, could not give us a reason or explanation as to why the service was so slow. We will not be visiting this location again."

"Always a fun dinner. The kids love it because they cook Tepenyaki style with the hibachi grill in front of your eyes.
Cute show fun for the family. Food was fresh and a good heavy meal. You will have to detox afterwards as its rich in sauces and

"The restaurant was packed the evening of June 2. My only complaint is the we had to wait and hour for the chef. When we mentioned the long wait, the staff did bring us an appetizer. The service and food were excellent. Our chef was Jose- he was great.

"You probably already know that Benihana is a chain restaurant popularizing the Japanese teppanyaki style of cooking on a griddle in front of the customers, usually with showmanship in the preparation. Well, just like you shouldn't expect your steak at TGI Friday's to be prepared with the same skill as your steak at the local steakhouse, you're getting a mass-market product at Benihana.
The meal we had two years ago for a birthday, the food was decent, as was the chef's show. This time the food was *waaaay* overseasoned and the the chef's performance was.... let's say not yet ready for prime time."

"We've been to this location on 3 separate occasions. Each time at a different table with different staff and chef but the food and service is consistently great! We bring kids and they enjoy it as well. The ambience is a bit louder than a typical restaurants which drowns out the noise kids make. It works."

"I've been to Benihana a few times for birthdays and had a great time.
However, this time the experience was disjointed. Service was not good at all. They were in a hurry for us to order and they were just not attentive.

"While the concept is not new, dining tepanyaki-style can be entertaining.
However, at Benihana the chefs' routines have become stale and predictable.

What is worse is the ever-decreasing amount of veggies included: Now just 1 slice of zucchini and 1 slice of onion per person, and the onion is served too late to be enjoyed.
Veggies such as green onions/scallions have likewise almost disappeared from the Chicken Fried Rice, which at $3.25 is not good value and is drenched in salty soy sauce. Stick to the healthier steamed white rice."

"I've been to this Benihana before. The service was ok and the food was ok. I went there to celabrate my boyfriend's birthday and I wanted to surprise him. I called before to arrange his cake surprise. It seems that they did not make a note of that and the server asked straight of who birthday is it right as we sat on the tables? and kind of ruined a little bit my surprise I dont think it was the server mistake but the hostess who did not make the proper notation. I would think twice to go there again."

"Even with our open table reservation, we waited over 45 mins to be seated. Walk ins were seated before we were. After I noticed that two additional walk ins had be seated, I approached the manager, which apologized and handed us a 40 voucher for the mix up. 15 mins after that, we were seated only to wait an additional hour for the chef to appear and begin cooking. The meal was decent, but they forgot to serve us a few items, never removing them from the bill and we had to beg for waters to be refilled. Unfortunately, I won't return to this location."
