"Benihana's food is always reliably good, but their act is getting old and boring for those of us who have eaten there before. This time we had a very hard time understanding the waitress whose English was not very good, which was surprising since we've never encountered that before when we ate here. Still, it was a good meal at a reasonable cost."

"While the food could be quite good it really depends on the chef. In addition the service is much better when the place is not as crowded. On the real negative side be prepared To shower before and after your dining experience. The before shower will be because you're sitting right on top of your neighbor and the after shower would be for getting the smell of smoke out of every orifice of your body."

"Great place for family, friends, dates, children, celebrations. For religious beliefs, I can not have beef, nor have my food near it. Fredy the cook was nor accommodating, nor did he care. He said that's a problem and there is nothing he can do about it. I asked him to get a separate spatula and he said there isn't another. Really a whole Resturant and not another to spare?!?!? The waitress suggested my food to be cooked in the kitchen instead, I was delighted for that. Throughout dinner, Fredy didn't give my date really any food and kept on feeding everyone else at the table. I felt he took it out on my date! Everyone's plate was loaded except my date!!! Even enough to bring back home in a container and left my date hungry."

"Benihana's is always a good reliable place. Birthdays, 1st dates, graduations etc etc its a good conversation starter and an overall fun experience. You know the food is going to be good and the "show" you get with it is always great. You really dont have to order a appitizer as most meals come with a bowl of soup, salad and some grilled shrimp before the chef starts with your food.
My only complaint is that our waitress not only spoke so fast I couldnt understand her, but at 5:15 we were the first people to sit down at the Hibachi tables. One of the people I was with noted a sign that said "happy Hour" when we walked in. We inquired with waitress if it could apply to us, and she was quick to try and rush us out to the non-hibachi secti"

"Was really disappointed in the service this time around. We had a low speaking server that couldn't be bothered with any requests. She seemed annoyed eveytime you asked her for something. Our chef too clearly did not want to be there. Benihana is supposed to be a fun and lively place especially for children. Our chef did no tricks and hardly spoke. My children were very upset as they watched other tables enjoying their dining experience."

"The place was packed and customers were jammed in the tables, not fun. Our waitress was not good and didn't have alot of experience. The show was fun to watch but by the time I was able to eat my good was cold. The chef was off- timing wise. He should of prepared the food better-time wise. We got one thing, then another part of our entree then tghe mushroom. We would of preferred it together. Our check was wrong, we were charged for sodas we never ordered. We won't be there again"

"While the food was alright and they were decently fast once the food started appearing, the wait for a table was pretty bad. They clearly overbook - or that was my impression. There were crowds throughout the night in the hallway waiting, and our 5:30 reservation had us seated around 6:30. The host kept insisting that tables were coming up ant that it would just be "5-10 more minutes"... We didn't get our drinks or food until around 7, but afterwards the meal did go pretty quickly.
If I had to go I would try and make it for lunch perhaps, when they might be able to seat you quicker. Otherwise, there are better hibachi places out there with better service.
An upside was the sushi we ordered as a side was quite good."

"Not to happy at the end since we had gift credit cards and they only accepted them partially and actually tried to cheat with the one saying they charged a certain amount when they did more. Luckily we called the companies while there but the time spent with five young children was unacceptable and we will never go back there. Also the waitress was very nasty and we ourselves had to find the manager as she refused. Not exactly how to treat your customers in this economy."

"Service was very dissapointing, we order drinks, and one came in a broken glass. The spoon for the soup had a pice missing at the front edge. Disapointing!!!, The cost does not represent the service."

"They DO NOT honor reservations. Reservation was for 8:30, got there at 8:20. We did not sit until around 9:30. We did not leave the restaurant until 11 PM. Beware!"

"This was one of the most unpleasant restaurant experiences I have ever had. My reservation was for 7pm we were not seated until 7:30 and that was because we finally agreed not to seat in the hibachi area even though that was why we came to this restaurant. We had a child with us and we were very hungry otherwise we would have left. We were seated in anotgher area that was so cold we had to dine with our coats on. we complained to no avail. To add insult to injury when our food arrived it was cold as well. As a jesture of good will the waitress offered us desert on the "house" which was ice cream, we refused the offer because it was to cold to eat ice cream. I forgot to mention this was a birthday celebration! What a disappointment!!"

"Wonderful experience with my daughter and niece. We sat with a group of other people who were just as nice!! They even helped my daughter use her chopsticks..
