"Typical hibachi service but better than others. Meats and seafood seem to be higher grade and portions are larger. The salad is crisp and fresh. Seasoning is lighter than competitors which really means less unhealthy sodium. Guilt free dinner out. Will go back."

"The reservation was ready and waiting. Seating was excellent. The food prep was entertaining, but there were several slips and dropping of utensils - I think the preparer was new. The food was very, very good. Management dropped by and asked how everything was and he was very nice. I would go back for a special occasion. It was a little expensive just for a meal on a regular basis."

"Arrived 1 hour early for our reservation, hoping to be served on time. We were openly discouraged from staying and were informed they had overbooked - yet again. Since this was our 3rd attempt to give our son his birthday dinner, we insisted we would stay and be seated at our reserved time. When our time arrived and passed with others being seated ahead of us who had arrived later, we inquired why and were offered soft drinks to keep us quiet. We were finally seated 45 minutes AFTER our reserved time.Food and service were excellent once we were seated.But the bill failed to reflect either the birthday or the 'free soft drinks'.Great staff but unacceptable management."

"We ran a little late after making reservation on Monday night (10 min for 7:00p reservation) and was told it would be 8pm next seating. We ended up not being seated around 9pm. It was another 15-20min before we got asked for entrees. In addition I specifically asked for no small children on reservation and to the appointment clerk @ desk three times and they sat us with three very young children anyway! In addition, the clerk was very rude to us and acted like he didn't what to be there at all. Food was not that great(scallops & filet melon) and I seen better chiefs presentation. Not much food for an outrageous price. Was not satisfied and can do better elsewhere."

"I like their food, but they are VERY slow for lunch. Expect a 30 minute wait for hibachi....which is what most people go for. If you have time, then this place is great. If you have to stick to a 1 hour lunch break, steer clear."

"This was a very nice night for all of us. We had my son-in-law in town with his 1-year old as well as my daughter and her 2 month old baby. Not only was the restaurant staff very accomodating for the babies but most importantly (and different), our chef didn't just prepare everything that came with the meal for each of us. Rather, he took the time to ask each and every one of us if we'd like this or that and so, not only did he really "serve our needs" which was, as I said, a nice change of pace, but in the end, I believe he saves the restaurant money and the world a lot of waste. All in all the night was a tremendous success!"

"Very disappointed. I made a 5:00 reservation and got there at 5. Staff took a long time to greet us and others. They were still busy setting up the restaurant. When we were finally seated it took 10 minutes for a waitress to come over and take our drink orders. The hibachi steak had no flavor. It was paper thin. The colossal shrimp were good. I've had much better Japanese food in non-chain restaurants."

"I made reservations and called ahead to see if we could do endles sushi at the tables, and was told YES. When we got there, they wouldnt let us sit at the tables.We moved to the sushi bar, very upset! They could have let us stay and have fun and watch the chef cook, then move us to the sushi bar. It was my birthday plus our first wedding anniv. and valetines day celebration. They brought my dinner before my husband even ordered, and before our soup and salad and before I could order an appitizer, they didnt give us the choices or the foods that were to be included in the meal, my steak sat under a heat lamp and was completed well done, not med rare like I ordered it. I never was offered water. They should give me my birthday cirt and do ove"

"Being a huge fan of teppanyaki restaurants, and Joan Rivers, I was looking forward to my first experience at the infamous Benihana (knowing full well that this is a chain restaurant, which is not my normal roll). All I can really say is "wah wah"! The Host was less than enthusiastic about anything! The chef was obviously thrilled about his job (sarcasim, in case you weren't sure) as he proceeded the throw pieces of food at my guest, and it wasn't like he was doing any "tricks" he was just mixing the rice and cutitng the shrimp. And last but not least, you'd think getting the waitress to refill a drink took an act of Congress, and we all know how fast that happens. Overall, very disappointed and will definitely not be returning."
