"I remembered much better than what actually happened when I booked my reservation to this restaurante. We waited about 2 hours then another hour just to get our food. By the way I got something else besides what I ordered which was not a big deal because the food was tasty but still... Anyways I wasn't impressed with the whole ordeal. It seemed a much nicer pace long time ago when I first went there."

"we waited a very long time for the person to come and cook
I thought we would be served vegetables but they amounted to a small slice of grilled zuccinni; onion was offered after we had finished our meal. I had to ask for sauces and then they had to be brought to table. It was a very busy night but they should have been prepared. Overall not a good experience."

"Went for hubby's birthday. Had a table overlooking intracoastal. The food was very good and plentiful. Ordered and loved the optional chicken fried rice. Enjoyed watching the chef prepare the food. 3 people at table were celebrating birthdays. Staff sang "Happy Birthday" to all and all 6 of us received a very large dish of yummy ice cream for dessert. The hostess took a picture of each couple and, shortly after, gave each couple their picture in a Benihana folder...a VERY nice touch. Excellent dinner and service. Will definitely go back."

"I love Benihana's. The food is always on point and the amount of cooking tricks is limited to the mood the chef is in at the time. I found that our waiter wasn't as attentive as he needed to be to our table. That didn't spoil the evening though. We loved the food and the ambience and we can't wait to eat there again."

"The service, price was outstanding it was my son's 16th birthday celebration. Tony entertain our table and had us All laughing so hard it hurt. Yolanda was on point with service and even cut and serviced the cake that I drop off earlier that date. "A bad experience from start to finish. I had a 7:00 reservation for 9 people yet they did not seat us till after 8, and then only because I "hovered". I will say the food was very good, however it was ruined by the late seating and the service. We had to chase down our waiter in order to order drinks...plus it was wham bam "here's your check, but never was offered tea or coffee or dessert. It was quite obvious that he wanted us out of there. Would I go there again? Probably not. There are just too many good places to eat in the Ft Lauderdale area"

"I don't know what happened Saturday May 18th, we had a friend in town visiting and thought we would show her a good time with an early dinner at Benihana Ft. Lauderdale-by-the-Sea... boy were we wrong! We walked in a few minutes early for a 5:30pm reservation... the place was totally blown out... if you weren't with a group of five (5) or more, you weren't going to be seated at your 'Res' time. We waited 40 minutes, since there was only three (3) in our party. Just when we were about to turn in our pager and call it a night, it started buzzing. The evening turned out well after the wait and it was good food/entertainment, as usual. But the management was unapologetic and should have offered concessions for our patience. We're still waiting!"

"We went on Mother's Day. We assumed that 3 PM would be relatively quiet. The place was a total mob scene. Not a relaxing atmosphere, but it was unavoidable due to how busy they were. Our tepanyaki chef was OK. Not much of a show. I've had better. Food was good, but overpriced. Would I go again? Yes, but not on a day like Mother's Day."

"I made a reservation but i still had to wait for about five minutes to be place which I consider fast since the place was packed. Our chef was awesome I hope when we go again we get to have sergio . Nice and funny.food was delicious and the service was great!"
