"Went to celebrate my Dad's 97th birthday. The teppanyaki chef was great and kept cracking funny jokes all night. Food was good as always. Would definitely recommend for a group celebration."

"We started out with 8 and ended up with 16. The staff was very accommodating in giving us two tables and two chefs and kept us all together. Even separated the check for us for easy check out."

"My Family loves this style of food and so do I, Benihana's used to be the best, but over the years the quality has gone down hill. I'm happy to report that on this occasion the food and the service has improved greatly and we plan on going back soon to see if it was just a one time deal. My biggest complaint has been less then fresh seafood and gristly beef, very unappetising, to say the least. Our food this time was perfect although we asked that our steak be cooked rare and it was done well.
Male Bar Server tried to talk me out of ordering drinks prior to dinner...
This is the 1st time I have rated this restaurant because if I would have done so before it would have been incredibly negative and I don't like doing that to a restaurant."

"Even with reservations it took them 45 minutes to seat us we were a party of 7. The cook was boring! Talked about the angels game or didn't talk at all. He did not have enough appetizer shrimp for everyone so I had to wait an additional 15 minutes for the server to bring them and then they had to be cooked. The server was slow. Took him a minimum of 10 minutes to bring us any refills or our soup and salad. At the end our bill was wrong and we were being charged for things the other party at our table had ordered. We will NEVER return here. EVERYTHING was horrible."

"My rating was good only because.
1. Our waiter went on break and no one was there to serve us drink until our waiter came back from his break.
2. The chef kept messing up our order. One of the orders was with the mango topping and he forgot about it. But I must say the food was delicious, a bit over priced but its worth it."

"I had reservations at 5:30 pm but didn't get seated until almost 6:15. The whole point in having reservations is to NOT wait. The front people behind the desk were rude. The one manager was rude as well. Also the AC was not working on one of the hottest days so far, not to mention your at a restaurant that has open flames and hot cooking things right in front of you. My whole family was sweating and using the menu's as fans."

"the time it took to be seated was expected especially for mother's day. The complaint I have is with our cook Richardo, he burned everything including the lobsters that most of us at the table ordered. Maybe he would have done a better job if he had concentrated on what he was doing rather than looking all around the restaurant constantly. I don't know if he was people watching or searching for something else to keep himself entertained. I didn't make a complaint that night since it was mother's day and my wife was enjoying the time with our kids."

"As our food service was outstanding our chef must had been new, we went there on Mother day our chef got all our food order mess up. And after waiting for 15 min for my mother inlaw to get her food last wasnt cool at all! Plus this was the first time I had brought my 2 kids ages 21 and 24 the side show he didnt do. My kids told me that they would never come back there."

"I planned my boyfriends surprise dinner for his birthday and the resturant made more then enough room at the table for all of us to sit together. Service was great and the food was fantastic. The host kept it a surprise and the chefs kept us intertained! I will definitely be going back for dinner with friends and family!"

"We enjoy dining at Benihana's throughout the year, but this recent visit we enjoyed our Chef's Table Birthday gift certificate. This was our first time making reservations and we had a great time from the very beginning. The reservations were easy to make and the service and dinner were fantastic. Our waitress was outstanding and very attentive as well as our chef, Ricardo, accommodating everyone's special requests. We really had a wonderful evening. Thank you!"

"Great location. Chef was excellent. Only down side was a not very well padded bench seat we all had to sit on. Getting into the table was a bit tricky otherwise best experience with this chain ever and we have been to the one in Vegas... so that is really saying something."

"Our server Victor was younger and talkative so I thought that was nice and our hosts in the beginning (Yoko) was nice and helpful but she did mess up the order of the person sitting next to me. I felt like Victor needed more room behind him to cook since it was shared with another cook but overall, pretty good for a random date night. I loved it that there was a bar as a waiting area :) I wish more places had this for their guests."

"It was disappointing to visit a Japanese restaurant and have the chef and waiters of another ethnicity. Not only were they not Japanese, the spoke their native language to each other and to the other guests at the table. Also, the chef was mediocre and kept dropping his cooking utensils and it was distracting. The food was pretty good which was what saved the day but it could have been better. Overall, I was dissatisfied with the visit and will not return to that location."

"Wonderful, delicious, affordable food served in the entertaining way that only Benihana can provide. Everything on the menu comes with delicious extras that serve as great apitizers while your main course is being cooked right in front of you, exactly how you want it. Every time I have gone here, the waiting staff has been friendly, and the chefs personable and quite skilled at their mixture of entertainment and cuisine. I would recommend this restaurant to anybody, and I can not wait until I can eat here again."

"Everything about our dining experience at Benihanas this time was amazing and top notch. Our chef, Tarow was the best! He was incredibly skillful and had us thoroughly entertained with his tricks and jokes. The whole staff including the manager were also very friendly, helpful and professional. We sure came to the right place to celebrate our birthdays and appreciate the use of the coupons. We love all the extra little but meaningful perks like the birthday song, ice cream treat and photo. We left feeling very happy and looking forward to coming back soon for the outstanding food and service."

"Great food but extremely busy with slow service. Our waiter was very friendly and apologetic but the kitchen and bar were backed up. It is also very noisy due to the exhaust fans on the teppan grills and people everywhere. Thu night and the place was completely packed. We spent over an hour before the chef attended the treppan grill to start our entrees.
Expect to be there 2-3 hours for dinner."

"A good value and good food. Dinner with a show. I wasnt sure what to expect but it was a wonderful experience. almost every table had a birthday at it as well. Sign up for their Chefs Table eclub and you get a $30 meal on your birthday free."

"Our party of 8 was so blessed to have been able to get a private room. We celebrated an 85th birthday and that room was perfect for our elder couple. They had never been there before and just loved it! Their expressions when the cook did his tricks was delightful to watch. Thank you so much for being so friendly and entertaining. The birthday girl and her husband so enjoyed the ice cream treat and birthday song."

"We always reserve Benehana for special occasions and they never disappoint. Just a week before the special day I made reservations for our party at 6 pm on March 18 and our party of 9 gathered at the restaurant before 6 on the 18th. Our server was prompt and helpful which made the evening procede smoothly and easily. Our chef was just terrific...a real pro who not only entertained us throughout the evening but he helped us understand why he prepared some of the foods the way he did. Everything was exquisite. If anyone reading this has never been to Benehana I can promise you one of the best meals you've ever had in a delightful atmosphere for a reasonable price! We love it!"
