"The food is amazing. I love seeing the good get cooked In front of you and how the chef interacts with the whole family. The mango lemonade was refreshing and the crunchy sushi was delicious. I would defiantly go back and try more dishes. It is defiantly a place to go if your looking for a special occasion or a romantic dinner."

"Best time I had there!! It was fun and the food was amazing!!! Service was great! I can't wait to come back.We were there 5/19/13 and The male manager on shift rocks it!! Very hands on and made sure every customer had everything they needed! He even put our food in our to go boxes for us!! No one does that anymore. I can't wait to come back! Keep up the good work"

"When we got to the Denver restaurant at 6:30, it was packed! EVERYBODY with same birthday as my husband had the same plan it seems. Every 10 minutes we heard "happy birthday" being sung. No big deal, it was still great food, great service and you got the entertainment factor which my kids loved. My only complaint would be that the newer Benihanna's seem to be more spacious. We were cramped as it was with 11 and then the space between tables was small. It was so loud that you could only have a conversation with the person next to you. I was so surprised at how packed it was in the middle of the week. Suggestion: if you have a large party for a special occasion, go really early (like the first available reservation) or go late 8:00)."

"We ate here for Mother's Day, We made a reservation via Open Table for a party of 10 and were seated within a few minutes. Your entire party must be present in order to be seated. Service was quick and our cook was good.The entertainment was not very original.They do the same "tricks" with shrimp tails, eggs, and volcano onion rings every time we go.Frankly, I don't need my cook to be funny, just a good cook. Long story short, their ventilation system needs improvement, it can get very smokey and irritating.We were shocked when the bill came. $200.00 for a family of 5. They also add in a "recommended" tip of 18%, so our bill came to $230.00 for lunch.Portions are not very large.More vegetables (not onions) are needed! Mt Fuji next time."

"It seemed a bit "canned", like the staff was doing this in their sleep. Our cook was really not into it--very quiet, did not smile or interact much with the people at the table. He was not very good at the "tricks"--missed 75% of them. He asked white or fried rice and then we got charged more for the fried rice (this was not clear...). Food was very good esp the filet mignon.
Fun but it was obvious that the table next to us had much more experienced staff."

"We chose to go to Benihana - Denver as it was an easier location for our party. Having been to Benihana - Broomfield, I was disappointed how dark it was inside the Denver location. I felt in some ways that we were stuck in a black hole. The food and service were very good, but I definitely like the open feel and windows in the Broomfield location."

"Always a great experience. You definitely pay for the experience more so than the food but it is a delicious place to go. Sitting family style is a nice change. A little loud but not overwhelming. "The entire hibachi dining area was very smokey. They need to get a better working fan. Service was incredibly slow. We made it through 2 rounds of cocktails without any water, or about halfway through the meal.The food was good but the hibachi show and experience was just way too overpriced for what we got. I'll be sure to avoid this chain and stick with something locally owned and of quality."

"I took my girlfriend who was my Prom date for My Senior year at Chaparral High School. I worked hard to save for the meal and to my absolute surprise the other 6 people we shared a table with paid for our meal because he felt we were good "kids" who were polite, looked good together and brought back memories of his time at prom. He ended up paying for our meal although I still tipped out the chef and server. I share this with you because it is so wonderful to know that even in a world filled with hate and violence there still are good people in this town!"

"Our reservation time was at 6:00p Friday night. We were seated promptly and given good service at the dining area. To give this dining experience an excellent rating I will need to see the atmosphere during a non-prime time dinner hour. It was incredibly noisy and difficult to carry on a conversation even at my table with the nearest person. Will try again at another time, like Tuesday or something."

"The food was very good. We did however feel that we were rushed through the dining experience and would have liked to enjoy our food and special event (birthday). We understand that you have other reservation but we received our soup & salad together and the Shrimp Tempura all at the same time. Our server was otherwise very attentive on getting us drinks and making sure that everyone was taken care of at the table. And as always they all sang Happy Birthday that was very nice. "Had a great time. This was a birthday celebration for my wife. And we brought the kids along for the ride. Half of the fun was watching the kids eyes light up while our cook worked his magic. I would recommend this place for a special fun occasion. Ordered the filet and chicken for two and it was delicious!"

"This has been a favorite for many years. Disappointed this trip with our chef, lacking personality but food was prepard perfectly. Expect a bit more when paying for the experience. If you get Ivan, don't expect much"

"I loved our Chef, we had a blast. My only complaint was the staff at the front desk. They were very belittling, I'm not really sure what the point in making a reservation was. When one of our guests was running late they said you have to go sit at the table and order for them. We had to wait for them to fill the other 3 seats that were left over. I felt like a criminal and they pretty much told me that we would lose our reservation. That, was horrible customer service and I have been in the industry for 25 years."

"Overall, very good. Only issue, the Cook prepared meats (steak, chicken, shellfish) separately and with long time intervals between different meats.....this caused some in the group to begin their meal early,while others had to wait."

"It was very busy for a Thursday night but we did not have to wait at all since we had a reservation. Our server was a little behind with our salads and sushi but all the food is excellent. The price tag is a little expensive but it was a special occasion so it was ok"

"Great food and friendly service. Though the checkin hosts could have been a little more upbeat - they seemed annoyed or rushed because we showed up a little early for our reservation. Wonderful chef - funny and talented. Waiter was helpful and responsive - quick and accomidating. Will return for sure!"
