"The food was not up to par, the chef, Daniel ( I believe), did not interact like I have seen in the past. His showmanship was just not there. I took 6 of my employees to show them I appreciate their work and was extremely disappointed with the experience. One of the appetizers was brought out extremely late and then it was the wrong item. I was charged for the wrong item and did not recieve the correct discounts with my coupon. We had to wait a while to get the bill corrected. This is the second time I have made a reservation on line and have not recieved any points for that. I think it will be a long time before I go back to your restaurant."

"The food and service were fantastic as usual. I took my mother to Beni's as part of her mother's day present, and we had a blast just like always. Our chef Mr. Martinez was hilarious and I would definitely request him if you want to have a fun experience. Overall, Super job!!"

"I have been to Tempan Yaki restaurants all over the US as well as Tokyo. I have visited this location many times over the years. This visit was disappointing. Both grills in front of us were too hot. The next table over had burnt food. We ordered two surf and turfs (filets with shrimp/lobster). The steaks were under cooked and the fried rice over cooked. The Lobster was very good, but there were only 3 large shrimp on the other order (less shrimp meat that in the shrimp appetizer). We made the mistake of ordering a drink in the bar. We had to close the tab before being seated and we had to pay for my soda (with free re-fills) twice."

"We loved our experience, 3 of us dining with 5 unknown others. Chef Lalo was truly amazing and was certainly talented and enjoyed his job to the utmost. He was an absolute crowd pleaser. Would ask for this Chef again! It was our son's first time; he wants to go back soon. Food was delicious, a fun way to celebrate Mother's Day early. Although we had made reservations, we were almost 45 minutes late being seated. I doubt it was Benihani's fault. It was a Saturday night and we do understand people do like to take their time enjoying their meal and the unique experience. Once we were seated, service was excellent!"

"Our Server Ashley was excellent. She cleared our soup, salad and extra plates quickly to make room for other things. As you know the eating space at Benihana is very limited. She refilled drinks and was quick to bring us boxes for our leftovers but did not make us feel rushed to leave. She was friendly and was available through our whole visit to Benihana.
Daniel was our chef and he was also excellent. He was entertaining and cooked our food just as we asked.
Because of Ashley and Daniel our dining experience at Benihana could not have been any better!!!"

"I went to Benihana for my birthday because they offered a free $30 coupon. I printed the coupon but it didn't have on it a bar code so I wasn't able to use it. This made me so angry. I wrote to their customer relations when I got home and complained. So far, I haven't heard back from them. That's the last time I'll go there."

"This is an excellent place to celebrate birthdays. I took my mom here for her birthday. The server was considerate, and asked if we wanted to be sung to. He then, without charge, took a photo of us, and framed it in a paper frame and gave it to us. Then, at the end of our dinner, as we were getting ready to leave, we found out that they sell their salad dressing (along with many of their other tasty sauces). The server gave us a container for free, and said "Happy Birthday" as we left.
The seating arrangement is best for groups of 8 or less.
Overall, we had an excellent experience at Benihana. Oh, yea. One more thing: We were served by the head chef (who had been there for over 20 years), which was an awesome treat."

"I have frequented this particular Benihana on more than one occasion, and I have to say, after this visit, I'll likely not visit again. I did not know they used they're trainees for the lunch shift and boy, what a negative difference that had on the presentation, flavoring and preparation. The real shame is I brought my Grandparents here to celebrate my Grandmother's birthday. $100 for a meal we didn't even enjoy. It was overcooked, under-presented, over spiced and all around, just a bad experience."

"The food was great! But we had reservations for 7:30pm and arrived at 7:15pm, so we had arrived 15mins earlier, the staff informed us they would have our table ready very soon. So i checked at 7:30pm they said that they have to wait for some tables to leave before they seat us. Every time i checked on the status of our table, the staff kept telling me 10 more mins. Our table was not ready till 8:30pm, we had to wait over an hour with reservations. I will not be recommending this place for birthdays, because if you have reservations, you still have to wait, whats the point in a reservation? If i honestly knew we were going to have to wait an hour or more, i would have left to go somewhere else."

"This was the best time we have been to this resturant. The Chef was outstanding and the best we have had there, food was excellent and the service first rate. we have had less than perfect dining experiances in the past but this made up for every other time. "The service started out a little slow but picked up and the Cook Martinez was entertaining. The food was awesome, the collosul shrimp tasted like lobster..wonderful....the mango part was so so....but everything else was wonderful. My son loves it here and so did I and my friends. We thouroughly enjoyed ourselves. There was an error on my sons certificate but your customer service was so quick in getting a new certificate out to me. Thank you"

"The steak was excellent! However, the chicken and shrimp were overcooked. The service wasn't good. The person responsible for getting us drinks took a long time to refill our drinks. He would come and say "oh, I'll be back with more drinks" and then be gone for 30 minutes doing nothing. He'd stand at the front just hanging out and chatting with other employees. Our chef was fairly talented but he made many mistakes. He wasn't very friendly. Overall, I think the restaurant needs a makeover, both with employee training and inside decor. The decor was very simple and lacking. I only gave the food a 3 out of 5 stars due to the delicious steak. Otherwise the food rating would have been a 1 star. I wouldn't go back or recommend it to a friend."
