"I made a reservation for 1800 during my son's graduation. We got to Newport Bay at about 1715. There was no wait, no hassle. Our party of 8 was seated and ordering apps in about 5 minutes. I'm not a fish eater so I was pleasantly surprised with both the Calamari and Popcorn Shrimp appetizers. My fish and chips wasn't up to my expectations, but, my idea of fish and chips river-caught channel catfish rolled in cornmeal and boiled in oil. All in the party thought the food was very good, the service was excellent and the ambiance good. We will be going back!"

"Wanting a good Pacific Northwest restaurant that served fish in Hillsboro, Oregon, we chose Newport Bay Tanasbourne. We all enjoyed our meals, fast and efficient service, and the ability to visit as long as we wished without being shooed out. The Alaskan salmon was perfect, and everyone commented on the green beans, which were cooked perfectly. We will definitely return."

"I took my wife and kids (two boys 4 years and under) to Newport Bay for their Mother's Day brunch. Brunch is the only meal that I will accept buffet style, I but I had no concerns here. The food was fresh and changed often. The salmon with strawberry cucumber salsa was particularly nice. My wife and I and I both loved the hazelnut encrusted French toast. The restaurant staff struggled to supply the demand of my 2-year-old's all-you-can-eat bacon experience, but this is more of a personal problem. We'd definitely consider coming back next year."

"We went for the fish and chips special and it did not disappoint. The dinner was delicious and the service was fast and friendly. We have dined here several time in the past and enjoyed it. We are certainly planning on returning."

"Food is always great, when you go you know what to expect. My family and I went there on a Friday during Lent. My wife and children are Catholic so we don't eat meat on Fridays. My wife likes to have pasta when we go out to dinner and she had a pasta dish once upon a time at this very location. She asked the server if she could order it, smoked salmon alfredo, the server said she would ask since it was not on the menu. She came back and said they could make it. The rest of us order and the food came quickly enough. I was more disappointed then my wife. The dish tasted very good and was nicely spicy. But it did not contain any seafood let alone smoked salmon. Very sad to have this happen, when seafood is your business please serve it."

"Not a big menu choice. Salad didn't come with the meal like it used to. It was just a "plain" kind of dining experience. The food was good, nothing spetacular. I haven't been there for about 10 years, and used to go frequently. It sure has changed, and would need more to happen to keep going on a regular basis again."
