"Today, it is very difficult to find a good plate of red beef without forking over your entire day's earnings, but the Strip Joint prevails as the lively steakhouse for the young foodie on a budget. This small restaurant with it's antique decor hides a kitchen with far above average skill, options to suit every meat-lover, and a drink menu that will not leave you regretting those last few. Highly recommended to those who want flavor, taste, quality, at a price that still makes sense."

"My first two experiences of this place were decent. Unfortunately, my third visit ruined everything. The Server was cocky and terrible. After making fun of how easy our dinner orders were he came back and messed everyone's meal up. He then asked us to eat it anyway and if we wanted something different to ask. I asked for my correct order and they charged me again for it rather that doing the right thing. After 20 mins of waiting my steak finally came out and it was cooked completely wrong. My first two experiences here were pretty positive but this last time was by far the worst dining experience that I have had in at least 5 years. Completely disappointed."
"Delicious steaks...better than big and expensive steak houses....nice portions ."

"I was excited to go to the strip joint for brunch last sunday. We arrived and our experience went down hill from there. Our table set for six was right in the way of everything. There was about 3 inches between the back of my seat and the bar seat, which everyone kept bumping into. The meal started off with the server spilling a bloody mary all over my shirt. I understand mistakes happen but I at least expected an apology, let alone offer some club soda to get the stain out. I had to get up and ask for some club soda and a napkin. I got the steak and eggs, that came with potatoes, we had to ask for ketchup and inquired about some type of steak sauce with our steaks. After 15min and a cold steak the server blessed us with probably the worst steak sauce I have ever tasted. A cross between a beef stroganoff sauce and bad canned soup. The steak was good, but when I think steakhouse, I think an awesome steak sauce to go along with it. Once we got the bill, we realized that he also charged us for the steak sauce without informing us. If the steak sauce was good I would have no problem paying for it, but not for that garbage. I hope they get it together, or atleast fire the server before he sinks the ship for them with that horrible service."
