Q4 Ristorante by Quattro originally opened on W4th Avenue to unanimous critical acclaim. Over nearly two decades, Q4 has become one of Vancouver’s most beloved and awarded Italian restaurants.
Q4 relocated to its new West Broadway location in May but the iconic Q4 ambiance remains.
At the heart of the Q4 experience is the exceptional cuisine from Central Italy. No visit is complete without an antipasto platter made for sharing. Other menu highlights are Cornish game hen, pistachio crusted sablefish, radicchio bocconcini, and the legendary spaghetti Q4.
Q4 boasts a wine list recognized by Wine Spectator with an Award of Excellence, complimented by an extensive list of cocktails featuring prosecco.
"We were a bit disappointed with our meal here. It's quite pricey for an Italian and we didn't really feel like you got what you paid for. Our starters arrived alarmingly quickly, before we'd even got our drinks. We had the soup special which was delicious but arrived in a red hot bowl but the soup itself was just warm. We also the burrata which would have benefited from being brought up to room temperature but the pesto it came with was delicious. For mains we had the the whole sea bass special which was the definite highlight of the meal (absolutely delicious and perfectly cooked) and the pizza special which was distinctly average. You can get a much better pizza at Bibos or Nicli Antica. Service was very good though."

"The interior is at the same time formal, friendly, and elegant. A shame there are two TV's in the bar/entry area. Service was very good - knowledgable, non-fussy, to the point, attentive and got on with the job. Food was excellent. The halibut was perfect - moist and flaky. The gnocci with the duck confit was surprisingly fresh because of the lemon used. The veal short ribs were not appreciated by our friend but my husband tried them and thought they were cooked perfectly. Not too dry but still fell off the bone. The vegetables were cooked too perfection fresh, and crispy."

"This was our first visit in the new location and were looking forward to it as we had always had a good experiences previously. We had a reservation but still had to wait 25 minutes for our table and not a single offer to take our coats or get us a drink. Not a good start. The waiter at our table knew that we weren't happy and he made up for it, exceptional service from him. I ordered a pasta dish that was not good... the octopus was like chewing rubber bands and very sharp raw garlic which wasn't pleasant. Everyone else enjoyed their dishes so I think I just ordered a "lemon". The entire experience was just ok and we wouldn't pick it as a first choice for dinner again."

"We had a most enjoyable evening. The restaurant was not busy so the noise level was minimal. Will return soon. The food was delicious. I have one comment: I think some form of protectors should be affixed to the bottom of the chair legs, so that when sliding dining chairs in and away from tables there is no scraping sound. Our waiter was excellent and I especially liked his descriptions of the menu items. He did not sound like he was reciting - he sounded like he knew what he was talking about (seldom found these days). Can't wait to return! Thank you."

"We had just the best waiter. In fact this is the second time I have had just the best waiter and it was two different people. It is fun to sit in the bar area and order appetizers if you want a lighter meal"

"Quite high-priced for what is offered. Salad was basically a pile of greens presented with little care, with drizzles of balsamic here and there. Game hen was quite salty and there was very little of it or anything else (except for a few charred vegetables and a greasy potato)--- a $24 entree. Best dish was my husband's penne pasta dish, quite tasty. Service was nice."

"Had an absolutely lovely dinner here. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, it was wonderful. We were met by the valet when we pulled up. Although we didn't use him as there was a parking space right outside that we parked in, he was incredibly helpful and welcoming. Our server and bus boy were friendly, efficient and professional. The linguine vongole, sweetbread, meatballs, duck ravioli special and salads were all delicious. Only one minor comment. Those sitting at the bar can be a bit loud and the sound travels into the otherwise quiet(er) dining room. We look forward to returning soon."

"My Family has not been to Q4 for a few years and I decided to celebrate Valentines dinner there this year. The location has change but the food, service and ambience has remained excellent! The menu that night was very innovative but still maintained the Italian ncuisine. The wine list also just as amazing. I would highly recommend this restaurant for special occasions or otherwise."
