"Tomato bisque was too chunky. Salad needed more dressing. Entrees were "ok." Expected better quality for the price. Salmon was just acceptable. Prime rib was prepared well but potato had a bad place on it. Filet mignon and shrimp was prepared well."

"The short coming: The steak, T-bone, was good but not spectacular. My guest raved about their entree which were seafood entrees. Should have a larger selection of sauces for the steak not just A-1 and Heinz 57. In all fairness, I did not inquire about the option of garlic butter for my steak. Still highly recommend for special events and occassions."

"This was about our 3rd visit to the restaurant over 2 years. It is a place that seems to have a lot of unrealized potential. The atmosphere is decent and the food is pretty good. The service leaves something to be desired. It is sluggish at best with you always on the verge of trying to flag down your server. There doesn't seem to be an "adult" in charge with very young people greeting and serving you. As a result they don't seem to have much interest in providing really good service. You feel like they are just hanging out and it occurs to them occasionally they should check back with you. It takes what could be a somewhat upscale experience and turns it into a ho hum one."

"Vince Carter's has to be one of the finest restaurants in the Daytona Beach area. The food was outstanding...appetizers delicious and portions generous....the right size to take a bit home to enjoy the next day.

"Found this place thanks to Open Table and a good find it was. Food was really good. The Sirloin steak was excellent. The sea bass was also very good but I would have made it differently. Food was plentiful and at proper temperature.
But the best was the decor. Absolutely striking. Just gorgeous.

"I made a reservation for 8 o'clock to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We arrived on time, but there was no reservation. We had to sit in the waiting area for 15 minutes. When we finally got our table, there were no place settings. We ordered an antipasto that was poorly prepared. Still no plates or dinnerware. The server seemed surprised that we needed a fork and knife. We ordered soup and our meals. The main entre arrived after a very long time. It was not hot. The soup arrived after our meals. The service was the worse I have ever experienced anywhere. Our anniversary dinner was a miserable flop that cost us over $65.00. The managers were no where to be seen.

"I was quiet surprised to have found such a good restaurant right in my back yard. Very impressed. Loved the Mac & cheese as a side dish. Could even be the main course along with a salad. "We were there on Valentine's Day at 6:45. Our table was sticky, as were 2 of the 4 menus. Asked for wipes to get the unknown gunk off our hands - got them 10 minutes later after asking another server. We waited 45 minutes for our water. After ordering wine we were told (15 minutes later) It
was not available. Ordered another (and a backup if they were out).
The wait staff was so undermanned some of them were literally running. By 8 the restaurant was clearing out, our very apologetic server was able to give us far better service. The steak was perfect, the food excellent, and what we thought would be a Valentine's nightmare turned out to be a lovely evening. We all plan to return on a non holiday night!"

"We have friends who go to Vince Carter's all the time and call it their absolute favorite restaurant. I didn't know what to expect. Would it be another athlete vanity business relying on the owners name to get customers in the door then disappoint? No. Everything was good, not perfect, but good. The building and decor is top-notch. Very classy and beautiful. My meal was perfect. I don't remember what my wife ordered, some type of pasta with lobster. She was very impressed and said a few times that she was surprised it has so much lobster in it, much more than she expected. If you haven't been to Vince Carter's give it a try."

"Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant to others due to its poor service. Even after being seated(with reservations) we waited 25 minutes for anyone to come & take our drink order. After that, the service was slow & people who were seated after us received their food before us. Their check in process was very disorganized. People with reservations were treated no differently than those without them. The food & ambiance in the restaurant were very nice. It's ashame they don't have service to match."

"Our first trip to Vince Carter's was an enjoyable one. The atmosphere was excellent, the food (a salad and a pasta dish) were first rate, and the staff was friendly and efficient. It's a sports bar, technically, but, in terms of "class," Vince Carter's is several cuts above any other sports bar in the area. It has the look and feel of a sports bar (plenty of TV monitors tuned into sporting events), but none of the red-neck rowdiness that so often characterizes a sports bar. We have added this restaurant to our list."

"We've been to Vince Carter's before and liked it a lot, but our last visit was not so great. Our server told us we had a choice of soup or salad with our dinner, but neglected to tell us about the upcharge for the lobster bisque. The bisque was delicious and worth the extra money, but it would have been nice to know about the upcharge before ordering it. We had to ask about bread, which didn't arrive until the end of our meal. My fish was overcooked and dry. I poured the liquid from the (very good and fresh) veggies over it to moisten it. We were never offered dessert. The bill was wrong, but quickly corrected. We're hoping this was just an off night (it was a Monday) and that our next visit will be as good as in the past."

"Arrived at the restaurant and they did not have our reservation so that was a waste of time. Extremely busy - staff were very much out of their depth and considering they had a special offer on which obviously attracted alot of people they did not have all bars manned, only 2 people on the main sports bar. After about 40 minute wait we are show to a booth where there was an icy blast of air. Everyone in the vicinity were complaining and putting jackets and wraps back on - we actually had gloves on as well as our coats. After several requests that the a/c be adjusted and threatening to walk out, finally someone listened and switched it off by which time we were shivering."

"We've always enjoyed Vince Carter's unfortunately our server Roger was horrible it's a good thing that the food makes up the difference. The six of us where celebrating my daughters graduation from college and we where blessed with a hurry up waiter who didn't know the menu and didn't want to fill a water glass. After our apps where brought by another waitress we even asked if she could be the one to continue helping us.
The restaurant was not that busy and so many other staff where very courteous to us. Thank you for that!
