"From start to finish a perfect experience. The service was top notch, quite knowledgeable, friendly but very professional.
The wine list amazing, and very helpful suggestions. The food from appetizer to desert, innovative, beautifully presented, generous portions and top notch ingredients prepared expertly and with care. The complimentary after-dinner limoncello was a lovely touch.

"Overall wonderful meal though we felt rushed. We were looking for a leisurely meal to enjoy a freinds birthday over a bottle or two of wine. We sat at 6:10, ordered a drink and at 6:20 they wanted us to order. I asked for a few minutes and then 5 minutes later someone else came to ask for the order. We were out of the resturant at 7:45. We would have ordered a second bottle of wine in the $200 range but because of the rushed feeling and the fact I over heard the server tell/complain to the matre d' I had said we were not ready to order we left sooner. I understand they probably overbooked themselves but that is not my issue. When I go out and spend $500 on a meal for three people I would expect to be able to dine leisurely."

"Delicious and beautiful. We arrived for a 6:30 p.m. dinner and were the first people there. It was more expensive than I would have liked -seemed a bit much for the food. I thought the wine by the glass was especially overpriced for how it tasted. I think Tria had better prosecco. Still, the atmosphere is amazing and we were waited on hand and foot."

"We ate in the upstairs room which was quite comfortable and relatively quiet but the stairs would be a problem for someone with a disability. A number of the diners were celebrating birthdays including our daughter. The restaurant made a special dessert for the birthday people. I had bronzino which was well prepared and moist. My daughter, who is a vegetarian, had a nice salad and a dinner of the same ravioli that I ordered as an appetizer. We were hesitant to order the pepper sauce so the Maitre d' offered to change the sauce on the pasta to the tomato sauce on a different pasta. There is a gigantic wine list with a good variety of different wines, which pleased my husband. Overall it was a nice meal."

"My boyfriend and I were Philadelphia for the Flower Show and I made a reservation at this Restaurant and we were very happy with our choice. The Branzino was excellent and was too much for one person to eat. Service was good but a little slow, maybe it is just new Yorkers move faster then Pennsylvania. All and all was a great restaurant that we will go again when we are in town."

"While spending a weekend in Philadelphia, we dined at La Famiglia. Our experience was wonderful! The ambiance was romantic, and the service was perfect. "Charming restaurant, decor fitting to the name "La Famiglia" reminded me of an old world Italian family dining room with special touches - clean white long linens, fresh flowers and tall candlestick on the table. Waitstaff is very attentive, yet not overly so, allowing you to take your time and enjoy your meal. The food was perfectly prepared. We both had pasta dishes - the fettucine with porcini mushrooms in a light tomato sauce and the tortelloni with ricotta, proscuitto, squash and butter sage sauce - both incredibly delicious. Finished with dessert and a perfect dinner out before our play!"

"We were in Philadelphia on a trip and booked a table at La Famiglia based on past Open Table reviews. It's an easy walk from the subway. We arrived about a half hour early for our Monday night reservation and were greeted and seated immediately. The wait staff was attentive and congenial. The food was terrific and we split an appetizer and pasta dish. The veal entrees were melt-in-your-mouth tender. We laughed when the waiter brought the small and large wine lists--the first was a single sheet of paper; the second looked like a 4 inch thick telephone book! We found a lovely Chianti to share with our meal. We had a wonderful evening at La Famiglia."

"I had a great experience here! I came on Valentines Day (cliche I know) but amazing! The bar space when you first come in is very small but the good was prepared to exact specifications. My date had the scallops and was most certainly impressed! The wine was excellent, the dessert was good and the staff couldn't of been nicer. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a good night out."

"We love the relaxed but elegant feel of this place - small and cozy – but with a decorum that makes you feel that you are dinning in a special place. The veal chop is amazing and has to be one of the best in the area. We also love to choice desert from the chic desert cart, it is always one of the highlights of the meal. Service was well-timed, friendly, professional, and never rushed. We were able to sit and relax for a while after dinner with a great glass of port without feeling like we were being a bother."

"Found this gem through last minute booking during restaurant week. Beautiful decor inside. Parking easy and location is easy access to major roads throughout city. Staff very attentive. Definitely will return. Hint: park in Kiosk rather than parking lots."

"I was at La Famiglia years ago and remembered how good the food was, so I chose this for Restaurant week, not knowing how the menu or food would be during this week, but the food was really really good. I had the risotto and it was perfect. My mother and sister enjoyed their food as well. The service was excellent. Very attentive, but not overbearing!!"

"The food and service were outstanding. We were not rushed. We chose from the restaurant week menu and my quest and I both enjoyed our selections. The gnocchi were the best I've ever eaten. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to everyone."

"Sat in the wine cellar, table for 7 it was perfect. Food was delicious. Recommend the lasagne, chicken, marsala, gnocchi with 3 cheeses. Risotto was disappointing. Desserts ere delicious. Limited bar wine list but delicious choices on it. friendliest greeter ever at the bar. Would definitely return. We tried it for restaurant week since we had never been. A good find !"

"This was our second visit and this visit was during restaurant week. Food selections on the R.W. menu was a bit limited and my boyfriend was ready for another meal after we left. The food quality was very good and I recall being very satisfied with the regular menu....guessing portions were reduced to fit the $35 R.W. parameters.
This has a much more mature customer base...no kids and no 20-somethings the last few times we were here, so we thought this was a huge plus."
