Fuze Italian - 21st Street is the second restaurant of Avalon’s hottest new restaurateurs, twin brothers Steve and Anthony Cozzi. "The sign had been out for a couple of weeks. Fuze Italian was preparing to open. It was worth the wait. A nice crowd considering it was a Friday night in April. The service was great, friendly. And the food? At Fuze, it's always very, very good. Tonight was no different. Chicken Salatimboca and the Eggplant Parm were both outstanding. This is not your typical shore italian fare. This is a VERY good restaurant. If you're in the are this is a "Don't Miss"."

"Food was good, service was lacking. We had to ask twice for butter to be brought for the bread basket that was served. We asked our server for a little more time to place our order,( we may have even said "give us two more minutes") and then, after a rather long wait, maybe 10 minutes, we had to ask another server to find her. Dinners were brought out by wait-staff and they had no idea where to place each plate and placed the plates in front of the wrong dinner, and then the same happened at dessert. No attention to that detail. We had to wait again for our waitress for the bill."

"Great BYOB in the center of Avalon with a nice variety of classic Italian meat and pasta dishes. Service was excellent! We were there the first weekend it opened for the season, and the place was packed! THat says a lot!!"
