In creating our Cafe, we wanted to bring a piece of Italy to Naples, Florida. As in Italy you'll find a small, family run restaurant, where the owners are the chefs. Our menu is not large, but what we offer is undoubtedly of the finest quality available, made with passion and love! There are no trans fats, no preservatives, no pre-made sauces or artificial flavorings. The recipes and ingredients are as they were 100 years ago. As one of our guests said, "Dining at Caffe dell'Amore is like a trip to Italy, without the passport". Our Chef/Owners passionately dedicate themselves to seeking out the very best ingredients, hand selecting locally grown, organic produce for ripeness and flavor and they use only organic meats and wild catch seafood. Fragrant Italian meats and luscious cheeses are flown in daily. Scrumptious bread and deserts are lovingly baked every morning. All served in our award winning, romantic, well appointed dining room, that was hand painted by an Italian artist

"We heard a few friends speak about the restaurant but they hadn't been there in about a year so we decided to try it. Unfortunately it was a mistake. Service was very slow. They passed off a white fish as grouper and it wasn't, tasted very fishy. The appetizers looked like all the ingredients were from costco. Not worth the money or the trip."

"This was our second time dining at Cafe Dell"Amore. The first time was on November 2, 2012(preseason). The service, and food were outstanding, so we expected the same last night. Unfortunately, even though it is a small restaurant, we were not treated the same "during season". Our server was inattentive. Although the food is good, the portions are rather small, making the meal quite expensive. We were rather disappointed!"

"Dominick and staff excelled at providing a most enjoyable evening for our party of 10. The Italian venue was outstanding from appetizer to desert. The atmosphere is quiet and intimate with a restaurant capacity of 40. Our group of snowbirds meets several times in season and this will be an annual return. Reservations are required well in advance. I was looking for great food in a nice atmosphere with a private quiet setting. The Italian in our group raved about Lasagna and my Sole seafood special was superb. The set up of restaurant tables varies from night to night depending on group sizes. The focus is Italian from food to wine, with very limited beer selection. Pricey but worth it. Remember it is your trip to Italy without the passport."

"If you are looking for a great room captain this place has the guy. The food was not very good, my grouper was old and didn't look like grouper. They replaced it with a bland sole dish that was fine but not worth going out to dinner for. I found this a restaurant I could skip when I come back."

"In town for a convention and looking for something that only the locals would know. Open Table helped me find this special place, tucked away in a fairly nondescript center, but in a lovely part of town and right on the main road by the beach. Old world greeting and food descriptions and although we ordered many different things at our table of 6, everyone said their food was very tasty, as described and satisfying - a table of clean plates! It was quiet enough (although full) that we could talk to the whole table without raised voices. A lovely dinner!"

Disappointed in the wild boar which was overcooked to being somewhat dry in the center.
The female wine steward is not very knowledgeable about wines - just rattles off some memorized phrases about the various wines. We asked for a Vino Nobile di Montepulciano which unfortunately, was not on their wine list and she suggested a Montepulciano d'Abruzzo which is a totally different wine, different grape and different region."

"Finally there's an Italian restaurant that does everything right. By the way, this is a northern Italian restaurant, not a red-sauce joint. The decor is beautiful. The welcome you get makes you feel like a king. The food is spectacular. I had the Torte with sirloin tips braised in red wine served in a unique pastry cup over spinach cous-cous. My wife had the braised wild boar. We shared, and both were truly spectacular. The wine list is ample, the desert was the icing on the cake. I have rarely seen such service in this day and age... one of the chef/owners takes you to your table and explains the menu in detail. However... make sure you make a reservation, since there are only about ten or twelve tables."

"This was one of the best dining experiences I have had in a long time. The owner Dominick is wonderful. The food was savory, well thought out, fresh and memorable. I wish i lived in florida but unfortunately we were there only for a few days. I have already sung this restaraunts praises and will contiue to do so. Look forward to dining there again."

"Was not impressed. Osso Bucco was fatty and gamey. Beef tenderloin torta didn't seem like tenderloin was used - not very tender and pastry tasted a bit stale. The food arrived so quickly that we suspect that these two dishes were reheated and tasted that way. Maybe we ordered the wrong thing - everyone else seemed happy."

"Spectacular dinner in this family-owned gem. Everything is made to order using locally grown foods and home-made pasta. Our daughter gave us a gift card to this restaurant, based on online reviews. "We were in Naples on vacation and reserved a table for Friday night based on the reviews we read. Unfortunately, we were disappointed. We were optimistic when we arrived as the room is nicely done and a nice wine collection was evident. The wait staff was pleasant and attentive. The food, unfortunately was very disappointing; average at best. The spinach balls, which were recommended as an appetizer did not live up to the description. My wife' s pasta was served cool and the eggplant was heavy and dry. My linguini with seafood was just ordinary. We did enjoy an interesting and tasty Tuscany bean soup and a very nice bottle of wine. There are many better choices for a wonderful dinner in Naples"

"We tried Caffe Dell'Amore basedon open table and tripadvisor reviews. Right from the start, everything was perfect. Dominic is a gracious host and gave us very useful information to get started. The attentive wait staff was very pleasant and accomodating of my dairly intolerance. The food was exceptional, and I can see why this restaurant has gotten rave reviews. "Intimate, warm and inviting setting. Authentic Italian dishes made with fresh ingredients, often organic and incredibly flavored. Steamed spinich balls, an italian egg dish similar to quiche but FAR better than quiche and home made bread were shared and enjoyed by everyone at the table. Main dishes were Delicious- what could have easily been a very heavy meal was light and absolutely yummy!"

"Had to try Caffe dell'Amore due to all the excellent reviews. It definitely did not disappoint. The house red was very good. Enjoyed the spinach balls and the speck salad very much. The ziti (homemade, of course) entree was superb and we couldn't stop eating until it was gone which, unfortunately, left us no room for dessert. The service was perfect and we were warmly welcomed. We will definitely go back."
